A: Yes, Please make sure to bring your passport. Thank you.

- Reno Guns & Range (5 years ago)

A: I'm Canadian and they let me rent a couple guns and shoot. I don't see why they wouldn't let you.

- Jonathan Perry (5 years ago)

Q: Can't train at this location because we are "taking" students from this location - how is that possible? they are doing a poor job collecting students.

A: We're happy to work with outside instructors. For safety, scheduling, resource planning, and insurance requirements, we have an outside instructor policy and work with a number of great instructors. We offered you this same opportunity. On more than one occasion you tried to circumvent our policy. For this reason we feel it is best for your to find another location to train your students.

While the range itself was quite nice and the selection of guns quite diverse. The staff handling the renting of guns for us today was condescending towards us even going as far to say "maybe you should've planned better" when we simply forgot to grab some targets out of our car. Really soured our experience for the day.

Great selection of guns! My wife and I went and we had a great time. We have been to Canadian gun ranges, never in the US. They allow you to load and generally just handle the gun if you know what your doing, so that was nice. However, you fired the 50 cal you have super vision.

I have been going to this range for almost a year now. Very well managed facility and the crew has always been cool. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for

I was very disappointed in the Safety Officer on Thursday afternoon. He has an important job, but he should try to be pleasant. He was rude to the gentlemen who was shooting next to me twice. Once the guy was trying to be helpful in sweeping up brass from the floor and the safety guy didnΓÇÖt like the way he was doing it. He should work on being pleasant with paying customers. You should post the video and let your customers see the behavior of your employee. Too bad you are unwilling to let potential customers see your guyΓÇÖs demeanor. I wouldnΓÇÖt want anyone to see it either.

I recently took the Concealed Carry Weapons course at Reno Guns & Range. I was expecting a boring and monotonous 8 hour class, but I was pleasantly surprised with the class. Bill was the instructor and taught a great class. He kept the students engaged and was very interactive. Bill answered all the questions thrown at him and I think everyone walked away with a much better understanding of concealed carrying. Also, the range and the rest of the facility was state of the art and top notch. I was thoroughly impressed and enjoyed my 8 hour day at Reno Guns and Range. Thank you to Bill and the rest of the staff that made the day quite enjoyable.

So I purchased an M1 carbon rifle with a folding stock from this company a few days ago. So when I pointed it out to the employee and the employee let me hold it and said it was in good working order and nothing seemed to be wrong with it, I purchase it. But when I came back a few days later to pick it up.The folding stock part that connected to the rifle was broken. I pointed this out to a different employee that was helping me at the time and told him it wasn't like that when I purchased it and he said that it was like that when I purchased it and that there was nothing they would do. So I wouldn't recommend buying a gun from them, especially a used gun and if you do, make sure you go over the gun really well and take pictures if you feel it necessary because if they break it before you come back to pick it up, they'll deny it and won't do anything for you like a professional gun company would.

We recently went in for our second trip to shoot some machine guns, which is not cheap. The first time was great so we wanted to shoot some more. We had the misfortune of getting stuck with the Wannabe Rock. I didn't catch his name but he definitely looks like Wannabe Rock. I'm not trying to attack his looks, I workout and have tattoos as well but this guy has crap customer service and demeanor. He was EXTREMELY rude and short with his answers. He ruined the whole experience with his unprofessional and careless attitude. Maybe he just had a bad day and directed his attitude towards customers. The rest of the staff were friendly.

From the moment I walked into Reno Guns & Range, the staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. This was my first attempt at shooting, but I wanted to share a hobby with my 14-year-old son, who loves airsoft and is very talented in shooting, education, and safety. The team made us feel so warm and welcome, helping us through intro to handgun courses, private lessons, and even allowing my son to watch and learn alongside me. The instructors Drew and Daniel were patient, knowledgeable, and created a safe environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and trying something new. This experience not only is growing my confidence but also has become a wonderful bonding activity with my son. I highly recommend Reno Guns & Range for anyone, whether youΓÇÖre a beginner or experienced. They truly go above and beyond!

Intro to Handgun with Marcia is great. Marcia breaks it down into small steps, and is a fantastic instructor. Had a wonderful experience and will be back!

I will only buy my guns, clean them and shoot them here because of Mark. The customer service has been insane and how he looks after and takes care of his customers is something I appreciate. Nowadays you donΓÇÖt see customer service like this which means so much to me especially if IΓÇÖm spending consistently at a shop. Thank you Mark

Nice place with friendly staff. Helpful when needed, only had to wait once or twice for a lane. Expensive ammo for when you rent a fire arm.

I love Reno Guns and Range, and I especially recommend this place for ladies. The atmosphere is friendly and the employees are super knowledgeable and helpful. I attended an Intro to Handgun course, which left me feeling much more knowledgeable and confident. I highly recommend Daniel as an instructor if you can get him, heΓÇÖs fantastic! Very practical and real about all thatΓÇÖs involved with learning to use a gun.

If you do not have your own, then you can rent any firearms used in range. If it your first time, you can ask them, and they will be happy teaching you how to use or take full class there.

Wow! Mr. Cope is a great instructor!! Such a patient man! I didn’t realize how badly I needed reading glasses to site my target… He helped me with my hesitancy and flinching as I pulled the trigger! Such improvement!!!! I will train with him again!

Got my CCW class done here which was awesome. I've never been to an indoor range so it was intimidating. But once you realize where you are and can get normalized with what's going on it's a solid place. I arrived at 8:30 am and already had a line outside the door for when they open at 9:00am older older crowd but nothing wrong with that. I would return.

I had my wife take a private lesson with Bill recently in order to learn the basics and start to get more comfortable around firearms. I stuck around to watch and learn as well and his instruction was very clear and thoughtful and put her at ease quickly. IΓÇÖve also done several classes there with Mark and have never had a bad experience. All if the employees IΓÇÖve dealt with at the shop side have been very knowledgeable as well. We highly recommend RG&R, excellent instructors and safe environment.

Fair experience here. Most staff are friendly. However, just like other comments said, some staff renting the guns didn't want to be there. When I want to switch guns and ask some questions, he looks pretty angry, doesn't answer any questions, and commands me. He only needs to know which guns I need and where lane I am. That's pretty rude:(

One of the better indoor gun range in Reno (just the gun range). I did my CCW class here a few months ago and Bill the instructor was really good! Fast forward a few days ago I wanted to rent and test out some hand guns as I was looking to buy a new one. Some of the employees manning the rental section, I feel just didnΓÇÖt wanna be there. One employee in particular was manning the rental while being safety officer, I had questions and seemed like he was annoyed lol (body language does not lie). Jeez! Never hurt to at least smile or be decent when interacting to a customer. Not coming back. :(
