I had some revolvers that belonged to my late father and great uncle, that were in rough shape and rusted. Ricochet range did a beautiful job at bringing them back to their former glory. I couldnΓÇÖt have asked for better work! Thank you guys for all your help!!!

My go to range if you are anywhere near Sumter SC, the range is great, automated Target systems are fun, silencershop kiosk makes buying suppressors too easy, go check them out

My family and I just spent 2 hours there, as french we were inexperienced but the whole team took time to explain us and always with a smile ! We really had a great time and for sure if we have the opportunity we will come back! Thank you again to everyone there !

Love this place. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I went the first time to shoot a pistol I bought and had a blast at the indoor shooting range, especially playing around with the target system they have. I then took my wife for the date night package and the guns they chose for us to shoot were awesome.

I visited the range for first time yesterday. Was impressed with the clean, orderly layout. Was approached quickly and offered assistance. Rob explained everything and took care of my registration. I entered the range and Mike promptly showed me all the workings and rules. Very nice people and a great place to shoot, Ill be back next Thursday.

Had the armorer (I believe his name was John) put on a compensator to allow my suppressor to be put on afterwards. The guy put on 9 shims and could have completely destroyed my suppressor. Called (I believe the manager's name Rob) and told him. Didn't sound like he was going to do much about it. Suppressor was 1300 bucks and could have been a disaster! Wasted about 2 hours of my time and gas to drive plus another 25 bucks for the compensator swap out. Nothing else was done about the situation or at least advised how that won't happen again! Edit 5/21 - Refund received $25. Had conversation with the owner. Weird at first with not giving his name but got it eventually at end of the conversation. He advised that his manager did talk to the gunsmith and that they try to go above and beyond and wanted the compensator to look good on the rifle. I didn't have a problem with that and everyone in the store seemed genuine and nice. When I left the store, I didn't know what I was looking at and believed they knew what they were doing. The owner (Gary) advised to at least put one shim on in order to make sure the compensator and barrel don't become stuck or that the compensator backs off the barrel. I've added a picture of the job performed. I changed nothing prior to the picture. They did not open on Monday and Tuesday and I have already shot 3 boxes of 308 (at 2 dollars a shot) to get the gun sighted in with shims and without shims. Without shims, the compensator and suppressor shoots on target without issues. I'm pretty sure I had a small baffle strike with all those shims on the rifle but unable to confirm besides attempting to sight in the gun on Saturday and seeing tumbling through the paper that day with the shims on. I've adjusted the rating to reflect the owner giving his word and following through with it.

I was visiting Sumter from Florida and I wanted to try out a range close by. After searching online and reading all the good reviews about Ricochet Range I decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by a extremely helpful and friendly gentleman who was more than happy to walk me through everything I needed to know. The RSO had a great sense of humor and was also very friendly and helpful. The range is in fact state of the art with touchscreen controls, Skill building challenges and a range of lighting options. I would recommend Ricochet Range to any and everyone I know I frequent gun ranges about 3 times a month and this is by far the best one I've ever been to.

I'd give more stars, if I could. This place is run by veterans and are all very knowledgeable and friendly. They make it abundantly clear that they're not just trying to make money, but establish and foster an enjoyable and friendly environment. They harbor no judgment towards anyone or whatever is in a customer's collection (and believe me, I've brought over some relatively cringe-worthy firearms). Nothing but great vibes, reasonable prices, and a family-friendly environment! This place is a true staple to the firearms community in Sumter County!

I personally know the owners of this establishment and have learned a lot about shooting and safety over the years from them. They are veterans like myself and upstanding people. I know Rob has extensive firearms knowledge and works hard to stay on top of that knowledge. I look forward to visiting their range and putting some rounds on target.

I've been going to this range since they opened. The store staff are always friendly and helpful and they keep the store clean and organized. The range is climate controlled and the target carriers are motorized. The RSOs are helpful and very safety oriented. I've taken a few of their training courses including a one on one session. The instructors makes the training fun and a great learning experience.

I donΓÇÖt normally leave comments but this time I had to. I am in Sumter often while visiting family and I always make time to go to ricochet range. Super nice, super knowledgeable people there who care about gun rights and gun education while keeping it fun! I highly recommend!!!

Since Ricochet Range opened I have taken classes there, attended group meetings, and made several gun purchases as well as several other purchases in their store. These guys are the absolute best I could ever possibly have interacted with. Being a female it is sometimes intimidating to go into a male dominated environment (i.e. guns and ammunition) and feel welcome and supported. Every single one of the owners/employees have gone out of their way to make myself and my family feel welcome and answer questions. They even host the Armed Women of AmericaΓÇÖs monthly meeting where they donate their facility in the hope of advancing the comfort levels and proficiency of women using firearms. I am SO thankful for their establishment in our area!

Absolutely love this place ... The owners and staff take the time to explain everything to you , the customers safety is their number one priority . I was there when this horrible lady was treating the staff very rude and had a lot of nerve to post bad reviews I hope people look past that and shop at Ricochet Range , take one of their classes ... They will forever have mine and my families business , I literally live in California and will travel all the way to South Carolina for this place .....

After not being able to hit a tree with a shotgun 10+ years ago, my husband brought me here to get more accustomed to using one, and get my cwp. First, I had a 1-on-1. I'm not good with names so I don't remember who instructed me but I know it was one of the owners. He was so patient with me being absolutely terrified to even handle the gun. He taught me all the basics, disassembly, and everything I needed to know to be able to feel a little more comfortable. After that, my husband and I had a date night package. That typically is (I believe) 5 different guns, with ammo, targets and all. The standard package includes shooting what I call "big guns" (shotguns, AR, rifles, etc) I'm more of a handgun girl for now. When I told them that I wasn't comfortable with the bigger guns yet, they immediately let me switch it out and stick with handguns for the entirety of the night. My cwp class was great. Normally my husband is my crutch, because I am a generally anxious person. He was sick the day we were both supposed to take our class, so I went alone. This time, the long bearded guy (again I'm bad with names) taught the class. My nerves and anxiety were put at ease very quickly. He made the class, written test, and hands on test, easy and fun. I've gone from not being able to hit a tree with a shotgun, to being able to hit a business card at 7 yards because of the patience and knowledge of everyone at this range. Ricochet will always always have me as a customer. ❤️
