Riverbreaks Conservation Area Shooting Range

A very nice consideration area. The area is well maintained. It doesn't catch a lot of pressure from the public which is one reason it stays decent. I think almost always see wildlife when I go here. Deer are common and I've seen turkey also. Some nice birding is available also. A nice getaway from the city.

I used to visit this range almost weekly when I lived in St. Joseph, MO. Very quiet and secluded. Usually not very busy, though it is easy to coordinate setting targets even when other people are enjoying the range! Picture was taken from a private aircraft back in 2012, so it could be a bit different now. I had a lot of fun at Riverbreaks Shooting Range! Be courteous and clean up when you are finished. The conservation officers, who will show up now and then, are awesome as well!

I love that place and I donΓÇÖt care if I drive 1 hour and 10 minute because I live in Kansas City Kansas and thereΓÇÖs no Shooting range better than that shooting range

Very nice range. Its remote. If you want something, you better bring it with you. The folks I met there were wonderful people. Be prepared to share the gravel roads with farm equipment.
