Absolute class act over at Roaming Shot. 100% the best experience I've had at a range ever! (And I've been to many) Ben Fabre is a wonderfully knowledgeable and nice person who is always willing to lend a hand and get you on the right track. He also isn't some rude snob about it, just a genuinely good set of guys helping people shoot better. Could not be more satisfied with my experience. I will be returning!

I've never shot past 100 yards before, so I booked a one-on-one class with Ben. He went through my setup and made sure it was zero, then he coached me from 100 yards out to 1,000 yards. I was hitting target at 1k yards in under an hour! Highly recommended!

Very awesome experience! A coworker and I did the 1 on 1 coaching and training. When we showed up we expected to improve technique and consistency so we could be more comfortable if we had to make shots up to 400 yards where we hunt. We learned more than we could have imagined about our rifles and both left successfully shooting out to 1000 yards!

What an awesome range, truly next level shooting experience. Being able to shoot from a climate controlled facility and use the long range cameras to watch and playback your shots for corrections and windage adjustment is incredibly satisfying. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming, I had a fantastic time. The range is very well taken care of, lots of fun and challenging steel to shoot out to 1000yards.

Great experience with Ben during the Hunt Test and Tune. He got me all set up and ready for an upcoming Mule Deer hunt in Montana. Threw him a curveball and he more than figured it out and gave some great advice. Will definitely be back to Roaming Shot.

Went in for a quick gun check and zero before hunting season. Got way more than that. Ben and team went above and beyond to work out a few issues with my gun and got me on target at 100 yds out to 400 yds. Great service and great people. Thanks!

Best range close to Baton Rouge, Brett and Ben are incredibly nice and knowledgeable about everything firearms and always happy to help anyone struggling or just wanting some form of assistance. Would recommend everyone go to this range if youΓÇÖre tired of shooting to 25 yards and want to try something harder. 10/10.

This range is the best one I have been to. The owner of the range has a gun shop nearby and he is very knowledgeable and helpful. I went to the range to sight in a new rifle with a scope I took off of another rifle that I already had. The scope turned out to be broken. He had a suitable scope available, I decided to buy it. He mounted it and had me shooting again quickly. With his help I was able to hit a bullseye on a 1000 yard target with a brand new rifle I had never shot before that day, even though the furthest I had ever attempted to shoot in the past was 500 yards with my old hunting rifle. He also sent my broken scope back to the manufacturer for warranty repair. He definitely went above and beyond. He also builds custom rifles. If I had known that before I might have bought a new rifle from him instead of ordering one online. I definitely recommend this range and the gunshop. Just be sure to call ahead or make an appointment online to be sure someone is at the range.

Went out to Roaming shot with a friend of mine this past Sunday. Ben has done a fantastic job with this range. IΓÇÖm not a big Rifle shooter but after spending sometime with Ben he had me dialed in and confident. This place is top notch. I had a great experience at Roaming Shot Range. I did an hour one on one with Ben. He was able teach and correct a few things with my posture. He offered great tips as well. I was hitting targets at a much further distance than I could have imagined. Most importantly, he helped with my overall confidence. I would highly recommend checking out the range, and even booking a class/ one on one.

Louisiana finally has a legit shooting range with cameras and 1000 yard targets all while sitting in ice cold air conditioning. I never shot past 250 yards previously and within 30 minutes was ringing 1000 yards.
