The gun/rifle counter has no customer service whatsoever. They are busy, packing , photocopying while the customer waits without being acknowledged, it seems that the customer in the store has to wait endlessly to be served… maybe they think they are in the health care business and have failed to acknowledge that some customers will just leave and go to another gun store.

Just bought a subcompact pistol from them. The salesman was very good. I wanted to try the gun out at their range, but the girl at the counter started asking me why I bought such a small gun. She laughed at me and even showed her big gun. Her coworker was more polite and probably understood that conversation went wrong. It was an awful experience. I have never seen such a rude person working with clients. Her name was Kyla or something like that. Update A few days later a manager called me and said they're going to investigate what happened. He never called me again and never apologized

Training instructor Craig Terry was extremely helpful. I was having trouble with my holographic screen and he fixed every issue and help me zero it in. People like him is why I will be making this my go to range and gun shop!

For the longest time, this place was the best; however, the staff here have changed drastically. Some are fine, but those of delegated power are by far some of the rudest people I have ever met. This is sad. Just sad. Another great place lost to the obnoxious. I membership here has been canceled, and I will never return.

Let me start off by saying, IΓÇÖve been shooting since I was a little kid. Both the store and range have been a consistent good experience every time IΓÇÖve shown up. I started noticing my technique getting sloppy and I wanted a second set of eyes to help me really refine my fundamentals, so on a whim I signed up for a private class with Armando today. When I tell you this was the most helpful, fun and genuine great time IΓÇÖve had shooting itΓÇÖs no joke. ItΓÇÖs well worth the cost even to just evaluate where you are at and start to correct any bad habits you may have. Armando was a stand up guy, I felt comfortable the whole time and by the end I felt way more confident in my shooting ability and have a great idea of what I need to continue working on. I highly recommend taking a lesson and just recommend the store and range in general. Thank you so much Armando for taking the time with me today! Edit: Just became a member and had my first trip back since taking that class with Armando, IΓÇÖll let the picture speak for itself, well worth the investment!

Very much enjoyed the experience purchasing my firearm. Josh provided valuable insights on the firearm I eventually purchased through Saddle River. Very helpful staff. Emmett was very helpful with the FFL transfer. Very nice shop with a coffee shop and plenty of tables if you are waiting on range availability. I would suggest not trying to get there from say 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm because of temporary road construction on 1488. Should clear up in a few months as of Feb 7th 2025 when IΓÇÖm writing this. Excellent range with my wife and I taking the Pistol 101 training with Barbra. Outstanding instructor. She is amazing. Ty ty Saddle River.

Took the LTC class with Glen as the instructor and was very happy with that experience.The firearm that we purchased following the class with a very knowledgeable and patient Mr. Emmett Greene was a pleasant as well. The "range officers" look the other way. When I pointed out a dangerous shooter nothing happened, She was there the following weekend do dangerous stupid stuff on the range. Brought it to the "range officers" attention, nothing happened. A shooter with a suppressor fired his gun without properly securing it. It went down range when the rifle was fired, no repercussions. They allow youngsters in the range area because their momma doesn't have any common sense, nothing happens.i have repeatedly ask the range personel to review camera footage, not sure if that happened. I canceled my Gold level membership because this place is, in my opinion, unsafe.

We had our first beginners handgun class last Sunday at saddle River, it was very informative , the instructorΓÇÖs made you feel very comfortable in the classroom before you went to the range. We got the shoot approximately 50 rounds and it went from scary at first to being more comfortable and at the end fired 10 rounds at close range on the target and it was exciting! The instructors were very knowledgeable professional and didnΓÇÖt make you feel like youΓÇÖre stupid and asking questions which was very important to us. I highly suggest anyone who is not familiar with handguns to take this class. You will be glad you did!

This range is so clean and the staff is friendly. I love the big selection of different things they have to offer. The Cafe inside is good and reasonably priced. The retail Associates John Tyus, Emmett Greene and Mark McGibeny are awesome! I was looking for a particular product and they assisted me in finding it and I purchased it. I love the great customer service and happy to be a Saddle River Range member.

I highly recommend Saddle River Range for firearms training. My wife and I, being new to firearms, took the Essential Handgun Part I class and found it extremely informative. Since then, we've had several private instruction sessions with Craig Terry and are very satisfied. Craig is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, always prioritizing safety. For first-timers, he is the perfect instructor as he walks through the basics at the student's pace. You'll feel comfortable with your firearm(s) after working with him. Craig coaches on shooting fundamentals in a progressive way that's easy to understand and has a keen eye for small adjustments that make a big difference in safety and accuracy. Craig is a genuine person and amazing instructor who genuinely wants his students to succeed. Although the idea of firearms training was initially intimidating, I'm so glad we found Saddle River Range and Craig Terry. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, I highly recommend booking a session with himΓÇöyou won't regret it.

I have been going to Saddle River range since it opened. They have great range facility, knowledgeable staff overseeing the range and shooting stations are always creal of brass. I have bought 2 guns from the shop and have been pleased with Emmett Greene both times. He also is knowledgeable and helpful in helping me make a decision about which gun I should buy.

This is the First time this JERSEY BOY/MAN HAS EVER GONE TO A RANGE IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS, AND IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! EVERYBODY THERE FROM THE GREETING STAFF TO THE ON FLOOR REPRESENTATIVES, AND OF COURSE THE RANGE INSTRUCTORS WERE MAGNIFICENT! I want to give a special shout out to Christian who was dealing with a large group of us, but he made you feel heard and he was extremely attentive, patient, informative, Helpful and funny! He made my first time at the range, an extremely memorable experience and I will definitely be coming back and recommending any and everyone I know to go to Saddle River And especially this location!
