Saltwaters Shooting Club

Q: Do you sell 12 gauge shotgun shells. I just bought my first shotgun and have no shells.
A: We also have plenty of bird shot in stock, both #7.5 and #8 shot. We also carry 20ga, 28ga, and .410ga along with 12ga.
- Saltwaters Shooting Club (a year ago)
A: The check-in station does sell shotgun shells but inventory can be limited. Have had good luck getting 25-50 rounds of buckshot for use in the shotgun bays. Bird shot is harder to come by.
- Chris C. (a year ago)
Q: Is there a place to shoot shotguns
A: Yes there is, shotguns, handguns and rifles.
- William Geronco (6 years ago)
A: Yes. Bay #8. Talk to the guys when you check in. Or they have 2 Sporting Clay courses for shotguns and the 5 stand.
- Michele Reum (6 years ago)
A: Can I shoot 7.62 ammo there ?
- Phil Raheming (3 years ago)
A: Yep. Lots.
- Mr Beasley (6 years ago)
A: I believe so.
- Roger Alkire (6 years ago)
Q: Do you have archery classes for kids. My daughter wants to learn to shoot a bow but she does not own one yet. If so I would like to know what kind of packages you have. And what the prices are. Thanks
A: I do not think they offer any type of training in archery or shooting classes.
- dm1927 (7 years ago)
Q: Do they have target stands and do they sell targets?
A: We do sell targets (both reactive silouette and reactive grid paper targets) along with backer boards.
- Saltwaters Shooting Club (a year ago)
A: They have target stands and sell backer boards for $3. Not sure about targets but they probably do have them.
- Vince Mazziotti (a year ago)
Q: Is 6.5 Creedmoor allowed? And is this range opened to the public?
A: Yes they allow it on the 100/200 yard range.
- Jack DuBois (4 years ago)
Q: I have some ammo that my son left for me to sell when he sold his guns and moved. There is 7.62, 223/556 and some 6.5 creedmore. do you know of anyone who would be interested in buying this ammo ? there is a fair mount of it.
A: IΓÇÖd be interested in it
- Brian Fox (a month ago)
Q: What is needed at check in?
A: Stand in line at shed, ID, and $20, sign your form.
- Gary McCoy (10 months ago)
Q: How is the archery range/course?
A: Im not to sure about the archery in there, but this place is big enough to host some really good archery courses and events, I'm pretty sure there is info on the range's website about this.
- David M Romero (a year ago)
Q: Can I shoot a fully automatic weapon?
A: I have seen people shoot full auto there. I assumed they were legal machine gun owners or law enforcement.
- Lance P (3 months ago)
A: No, you can rapid fire a semi auto as long as it is controlled though.
- Draco Riner (2 years ago)
Q: Do you allow shooting shotgun. Trap shooting?
A: We have 2 sporting clays courses, a skeet, 5-stand and FITASC course. Please checkout our website for more info including pricing, membership options, rules, etc.
- Saltwaters Shooting Club (2 years ago)
A: They have the nicest trap and skeet ranges I've ever seen. Spend some time in the pro shop.

Very good outdoor range. Nice longer rifle distance. Can be a bit crowded.

The very rude bearded guy working the counter today late morning with the horrible attitude and mad at life is a horrible representation of your range. Why would you have this type person interacting with your customers? .... you just lost 4 today.

Site of the St. Augustine Speedway. The famous half mile oval track that hosted NASCAR, ASA, and USAR events. It only operated for 10 years before closing down. Nice to see that the place hasn't been entirely developed and much of the nature around it is still there.

This place is not only the best shotgun sporting range in the northeast FL and southeast GA region, but alongside that also has the best non-member prices for shotgun target shooting in the entire southeast region. Target presentation on the sporting clays courses are changed frequently to keep it fresh. The staff are awesome. I frequent the range to shoot clays almost every week and never disappoints. I've been in shotgun target shooting for many years come on out, you'll be in for a treat

Great range. Private pistol bays with steel, and the most beautiful sporting clay range I have personally been to. Very friendly staff as well. I've been a member for years despite the long drive for me, and will continue to be one.

Decent outdoor range. The tables and chairs badly need upgrading. Half of them look like they were taken from scrap yards. If I'm shooting a target at 200 yards, I can't have my chair or table moving. The concrete barriers are crumbling and most have gaps between them large enough for shrapnel and bullets to penetrate to the range next to you. This place gets packed and they have way more parking spots than bays. There is more than enough room to add at least 20-30 pistol and rifle bays along the left side of the entrance. Most of the time when I get there, I have to wait at least 30 minutes to get to shoot anything. The owner should invest in a major renovation. Then I would recommend this place over anywhere else.

Very well designed sporting clays club. Never too crowded and the targets are always challenging. Lots of space to set some big targets. Golf carts, ammo, and everything you need is on-site. Woolley firearms has a shop on the property as well. I haven't used the Pistol or Rifle areas but very clean and managed properly for a safe and fun experience. Close enough to 95 to make it a stop on your way south for the winter sporting competitions.

ItΓÇÖs a great place to shoot. It would be great if they open additional rifle and pistol ranges and ranges over 200 yards for long range shooting. I understand that majority of the people donΓÇÖt shoot long range, but it will be a great opportunity to bring other type of customers to their business.

IΓÇÖm visiting for a couple months from Texas, and wanted to get some sporting clay rounds in while I was in the area. This is the first place that showed up on Google maps(also closest to my in-laws) and figured IΓÇÖd give it a shot after reading the 1 star five page review saying it was full of meatheads. This place is great for sporting clays I had a blast, and IΓÇÖve shot here twice now. Staff was super friendly, and treated us like adults(told us the rules, and figured they didnΓÇÖt need to babysit us) Also the patrons where super friendly, and kept offering me rides in their golf carts(I like to walk the courses) Highly recommend will definitely be back itΓÇÖs also the second cheapest sporting clays venue IΓÇÖve had the pleasure of shooting.

Love this range. Staff is helpful, price is fair and being able to shoot outside versus an indoor range is great.

I read the reviews after visiting. There is repeated mention of an employee who overzealously patrols the ranges. He's real, and I know exactly who he is, but he's actually humorous in a Barney Fife way if you don't let him get you angry. He's just a chubby bearded kid who's probably been picked on too much. So if you go, be on guard for the chubby young dwarf with the unkempt beard. Otherwise, the place is just OK. Not horrible, but I probably won't go back. The brass really needs to be picked up. There's kind of a graffitied zombie apocalypse vibe to the entire place. Find somewhere better kept and more service oriented if you're taking women and children along.
