Q: Is there a gun shop in Phoenix that rents a 50 cal sniper rifle to shoot indoors? Albuquerque has a gun store that allows you to shoot their 50 cal supervised of course.
A: They do have a .50 cal. but i don't know if you would clasify a sniper rifle. They have mamy different types of firearms
- Leyder Ness (6 years ago)
A: We do not have a .50 caliber rifle for rental. Largest caliber rifle we have for rental is a 308
- Scottsdale Gun Club (4 years ago)
A: I can tell definitively they wont let you fire a 50 cal indoor bet my life on it
- Curtis Fox (4 years ago)
A: The highest caliber they allow to be fired safely indoors i believe is .308 and only if the projectile fired from said round is lead core. Other metal penetrates too much and damages the back stop potentially making it unsafe to use.

Q: I want to purchase a case and a holster for my pt111 ,what are the rules on bringing my fire arm in the store to get the proper fit to my weapon?
A: Must be in a case or holster. If you have neither leave it in the car, go to the rental counter, ask to borrow a case, and use that case to bring it in! They will be more than happy to let you borrow one 😊
- Kyllee Miller (6 years ago)
A: Also since you are wanting to test fit it to holsters make sure it is unloaded, with the slide locked back before you put it in the loaner case. When you are done, and return it to your vehicle you can reload it.
- Lloyd Fields (6 years ago)
Q: Do they give used bullet casseings for free?(bullet shells)
A: I'm sure if you wanted a large quantity you could work something out.
- Kristopher Williams (7 years ago)
A: You can collect your own brass.
- Leyder Ness (7 years ago)
A: You can collect your own but they will not allow you to collect other people brass, they say they sale it to a reloader or recycler to offset site costa.
- James Boyle (7 years ago)
A: If you shoot on the range you may collect your own brass, provided that it doesn't go down range.
- King Baldwin IV (7 years ago)
Q: When is senior day and hours
A: Hello, we currently do not have a Senior Day, however here are a few free shooting dates that we offer that may pertain to you: - Ladies Shoot FREE Every Thursday (10am - 7pm) - Moms Shoot FREE on Mother's Day - Dads Shoot FREE on Father's Day - First Responders Shoot FREE on Patriots Day (9/11) - Vets Shoot FREE on Veterans Day (11/11)

Q: We are comming from canada for a Stagg. Does a customer need a licence or anything to shoot the guns? Is there a package to shoot various guns?
A: I would contact sgc directly for help.
- Jeff B (10 months ago)
A: Hey Dan, everyone who shoots on our range must watch out 8-minute safety video and fill out the safety waiver prior to shooting. We do offer group packages as well, you can access our video/waiver here - https://scottsdalegunclub.com/waiver

Q: Can a non-member make a reservation
A: No
- Leonard Ellerbroek (a year ago)
Q: Are patrons allowed to draw/shoot from holster inside the range?

I recently visited Scottsdale Gun Club to purchase my very first handgun, and I couldnΓÇÖt have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The staff took their time to walk me through different options, answering all my questions with patience and expertise. What really stood out was the incredible knowledge and passion of everyone I spoke with. I ended up spending a wonderful couple of hours talking with some truly experienced and friendly people who made me feel right at home. I also decided to join their membership, and IΓÇÖm beyond excited to be part of this amazing community. If youΓÇÖre looking for a place where youΓÇÖll be treated with respect, guided by knowledgeable professionals, and feel like you belong, Scottsdale Gun Club is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I joined SGC a number of years ago on a monthly basis, and had nothing but top notch experiences with every visit... until I didn't. For some reason I was mysteriously dropped from membership (I only found out when I called to reserve a lane and was told I wasn't a member anymore). I was a bit put off but I figured I'd just visit a range that was closer to home. Yea, that didn't go well... crappy range, no range officers (VERY unsafe) at top tier pricing. At one point I took a friend and his young daughters to SGC because he wanted to introduce them to shooting. As soon as we hit the range one of the girls absolutely lost it over the noise and he had to take her back out front. When I went out to see how she was doing one of the employees was actually sitting with them, and once she calmed down he ushered us into the Titanium Club so we could shoot in a quieter environment! Absolutely awesome customer service, and the girls had a blast! I've purchased a number of firearms at the club over the years, and had even more shipped there from on-line purchases. Never once did I have a problem getting my firearms. I live almost an hour from the club, but it's the best thing in Phoenix, so I finally went back yesterday and signed up for an annual membership (Thank You Felicia!) Trust me, you won't find a cleaner, nicer, SAFER, more well lit and ventilated range anywhere in the valley - and in spite of the "Scottsdale" moniker, they're not as expensive as some of the lesser ranges out there. I can't recommend SGC enough!

Did the Ladies of Liberty class and it was very informative, and the instructors were knowledgeable and approachable about firearm use from a female prospective. Would definitely recommend to any woman looking to get into firearms or see if shooting is for them.

We paid for 2 gun safes 10 months ago. SGC had one in stock which they loaded into our vehicle & we brought home. They advised they were going to order the additional one & would call us when it came in. After multiple calls to them, they could not tell us if the safe was ordered or had come. Today we called them & the safe has been there for awhile, itΓÇÖs in the back of the warehouse, theyΓÇÖre not sure if it will fit through the door, we will need to hire someone to get it out & load it.

I was in town visiting for a work conference. I went with a group of 5 with a mix of experienced shooters to a brand new person. We walked right in and we were able to get started after the waiver and safety video. As out of state (and country) visitors, we had no trouble getting a lane and being set up. James and Mike were awesome to deal with at the desk. James led our "Machine Gun Adventure" session. I highly recommend SGC and plan coming back next time I'm in town.

Sent in an application through indeed which they responded to promptly. Had an in person interview which went well and was told I would receive a call for a second interview only to be emailed saying they moved on with the hiring process and that I was not selected. Then was called back a week later for a second interview which I found a little weird because the person calling had no idea who sent the email or why it was sent. A little unorganized but not that big of a deal. When it came time for the second interview everything went great and was told I had the job pending a background check which is also again not a big deal. Seeing as how I have an active facility agent license as well as my armed guard card both of which I had to complete a federal background check and submit fingerprint and passport photo identification and was cleared through the state for. Somehow according to scottsdale gun clubs background check I'm a felon which is complete BS seeing as how I've never been charged with a felony. Also it is Completely unprofessional to touch someone on the shoulder during an interview. Or tell the person you're interviewing that they're not going to last long in this industry if they're soft and can't handle being talked to a certain way. That could be misconstrued and turned into a lawsuit. I was not offended in any way and suggested that had worked in the construction industry and I was used to it then was told I would be a great fit. Had that been someone that was easily offended it could have been a complete different situation. This was my first ever experience at Scottsdale Gun Club had never been shooting there before but because of the unpleasant unprofessional unorganized mangers I will not be returning to or recommending this place to anyone.

It was my first time visiting SGC. I checked in & completed the waiver. I was told it was an hour wait. I sat & watched the safety video as more & more people was allowed to shoot before me. I know some had reservations. So I was trying to stay calm. Multiple groups of people was allowed to shoot before me as I waited patiently. It wasnΓÇÖt until I walked up to the front check in desk to visually see that they had multiple lanes available. Then what do you know all of a sudden Tanner the range check in assistant has a lane for me. At that point I had been there for about a hour & 15 minutes. Then as IΓÇÖm paying & trying to go shoot they had people trying to cut in front of me as IΓÇÖm standing there @ the register. I have this review three stars mostly because the range it self was awesome. The target controls are by far the best I have seen.

Placed an order for $1300 for a firearm with them and was assured it was on order and when it arrived from the manufacturer, IΓÇÖd be called right away to pick it up. After over a month of calling and asking them if it was in, I gave up and searched other stores, finding one in stock elsewhere. I called to cancel my order with Scottsdale gun club and they notified me my firearm had been in stock for days. Surely they knew I had it on order and should have called me. For $1300 customer service should have been 100 times better. Never received an apology from anyone so took my business elsewhere. DonΓÇÖt give them your money and they wonΓÇÖt notify you when your item comes in. IΓÇÖll never return to the store or purchase anything from them in the future and will steer every person I know away from them. I know they donΓÇÖt care because they have a lot of business but they should care about the people who fund and run their business.

Alright this is the most fun I have had in a long time. Walked in and the process from beginning to end was seamless. Prices were very fair and the staff were AWESOME! I was able to shoot the m16a2 and glock 18 machine guns, and holy I instantly started looking into moving out of Canada lol! I also shot the Q fix ar15, put about 3 boxes of pmc through it. Made me feel right at home with the ability to shoot without a staff member with you. I suggest anyone looking to have some fun, check out Scottsdale gun club. Whether you are trained or a first timer they will assure your stay is safe, fun and welcoming.

I have never had a bad experience at SGC. Staff is the best I have encountered at any shop. Their expertise in Class III make this the ONLY place I will buy NFA items.

i went to the gun range yesterday and was told that I wasnΓÇÖt following the rules, saying I couldnΓÇÖt shoot binary and wasnΓÇÖt shooting right when literally I know how to shoot, been there 5-6 times yet no ranger officer has told me nothing except him and it was like he was racial profiling me. He was only looking at me. No one else who was there. ItΓÇÖs like he really wanted me to leave and so I did. I donΓÇÖt remember his name but heΓÇÖs African American. He either doesnΓÇÖt know what heΓÇÖs doing or just racist. I was following all rules. Never been told nothing all the times IΓÇÖve been there except him. Sucks cause this was my favorite range.

I've been a proud member of Scottsdale Gun Club for three years now. I make it a point to visit every week, and each time, I'm greeted by a team of exceptional staff who are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about firearms. One of the standout features of Scottsdale Gun Club is their extensive range of classes. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine expert-level skills, their classes cover everything comprehensively. From mastering the basics to handling firearms with expert precision, every session is informative and hands-on. Another huge plus is the member-priced ammunition. Surprisingly, it often beats the prices found online, making it my go-to place for purchasing ammo without breaking the bank. Overall, Scottsdale Gun Club is more than just a shooting range; it's a community dedicated to firearm education and safety. If you're serious about honing your skills or just starting out, I highly recommend becoming a member. The experience is unmatched, and the value you get is exceptional.
