I highly recommend this shooting facility! Awesome value vs. daily fees charged. Safety conscious range, without being overbearing. Range Marshalls are very cool and helpful. I will be back…lol.

Called ahead to check if they were open. Spoke with Mike, the owner. said they were open said "hope you have fun". Drove an hour with family, even got a speeding ticket on the way just to find locked gate. Disrespectful and inconsiderate. I'm Sure the range is fine. But staff and hours are unreliable if you are coming from the valley for the weekend. Be cautious.

This place is everything an outdoor gun range should be. Clean, plenty of space, range guys are super friendly, and fairly inexpensive to shoot. Free targets?? Hell yeah!! #MERICA

Safe. Pleasant range officers. Well designed. Definitely the go to range in the area. Marked distances out to 100 yards. Couple steel targets at the end of the line, I mean, who doesnΓÇÖt like ringing a little steel? Hats off to all involved in keeping this gem going.

This is one of the best outdoor ranges IΓÇÖve been to in AZ. ItΓÇÖs clean and organized. They let me use there targets and spotting scope. That doesnΓÇÖt happen at any other range. The staff is awesome! They are knowledgeable and safe. The cost is reasonable, so much I purchased a 50 dollar year pass for my entire family. Im now a member!

Took my son and brother in law here..., this place is awesome! Staff and range master are very friendly and helpful. They provide you with targets and spotting scope. They observe very strict safety rules. Looking forward to come back here again even though I live in Phoenix area.

Love the outdoor range and the friendly, supportive help from the RSOΓÇÖs. I took a friend with me recently and she loved it, too. If you are considering Second Knoll, give them a try. You wonΓÇÖt be sorry.

Had a family reunion in July 2018 in Pine Top, AZ. Brought out six of my AR-15's so family members would know that they're just a firearm no more dangerous than any other semi-automatic, and to learn what it feels like to shoot a military style platform weapon. On a Monday afternoon we were the only ones there, I think the staff was bored until we got there about 17 of us. The staff was so professional and helpful. The range master and the assistant range safety officers were giving others in my family one on one instructions on how to shoot. Everyone had a great time and experience for the last few hours of the day. Thanks to the staff!

Staff was friendly and helpful, asked to draw and they observed to make sure I was safe and then just let me be. Good place to sight in a rifle, they let you use their sand bags and spotting scopes while doing so and have markers at the different distances from 7 yards all the way to 100. Even have some steel at 100 in the far right lane. You can either become a member or if you just want to shoot for the day, pay a small fee. All in all the best range on the mountain.

I have been to numerous ranges, over the years, and this is by far the best one I've ever visited. The staff is extremely friendly, as well as, helpful. They are sticklers for the safety rules and ensure every one is following them, at ALL times. While I don't live in Pinetop, I will be sure to come back everytime I am in town; the range fee of $8 and endless targets can't be beat anywhere else. I also would like to give special attention to staff member, Brian Moffatt, who generously helped me with a few tips that quickly improved my accuracy. I know this isn't something that typically occurs but I wanted to publicly say, "Thank You for the tips and, more importantly, your time!"

I'm happy to report that Second Knoll Target Range has surpassed my expectations. Easy to get to; the staff are first rate shooters themselves and the nicely laid out facilities make the experience great.

The best range in terms of setting, personnel, accommodations, price, quality and a true zero pressure environment to shoot in and or teaching a new shooter. This is definitely my ΓÇ£go-toΓÇ¥ outdoor range in all of Arizona.

Just went with my brother-in-law, Grandfather and Dad. I've been to a lot of ranges in my life, and this one is one of my top 10 favorites. It is extremely clean and well put together. The RSO's are very friendly and helpful, yet strict allowing for a very safe environment. I would be absolutely comfortable bringing a Scout troop or my sons. They can provide hearing and eye protection, have very nice target holders with staple guns for affixing your own targets or you can take from their stock of NRA 100-yard standard targets. The range fees are $8 per non-member, $2 per member, with a $30 yearly membership fee if you'd like to join. They have a 100-yard range where they allow a large number of firearms to be used. They have a much larger range currently in development. They also have a bunch of smaller ranges. The local club also puts on competitions and events on weekends and such. Very, very well organized, safe and put together.

This is a new range that has a lot of possibilities for future growth and located in a great spot.The range volunteers are friendly and professional.
