Staff was really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My son and I got to have a little fun with some target practice. There is a range master on duty at all times to ensure everyone's safety and to help you when needed. I highly recommend this place if you're a beginner or even an advanced shooter.

Brought my wife here to shoot for her first time and when we left she was almost in tears. We started at the pistol range where 3 people were all shooting 7.62x39 rounds which absolutely rocked our brains especially with one having a muzzle break. I get you canΓÇÖt really control if itΓÇÖs in a pistol platform but maybe a range dedicated to those types of rifles/ pistols would be beneficial for those who want to introduce new shooters without a concussion from the bay next to you. This wasnΓÇÖt even the worst part. We decided to go over to the rifle range where we were met with an RSO who apparently wasnΓÇÖt having a great day. He was unclear as to which target was ours and when asked for clarification just talked over me and then proceeded to yell at myself and my wife down range when we were trying to post targets. He was blatantly aggressive, sarcastic, and felt it was necessary to embarrass two people (one of which has never been to a gun range before) in front of the whole rifle range. IΓÇÖve been trying really hard to get my wife on a range and within seconds this RSO ruined it. I had brought my father in law to this range before and enjoyed it but I wonΓÇÖt be back. Not after being blatantly disrespected for absolutely no reason and embarrassing myself and my wife. What a way to introduce someone to shooting.

Went with a large group for a birthday with inexperienced shooters and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. As a new shooter, loved the emphasis on safety they have. Rented an AK-47 and a Canik 9mm, guns were well maintained and easy to get the hang of. Range is fully outdoors so dress accordingly, again all the staff were super friendly/helpful and worked with us despite being a little short staffed for a group with so many inexperienced shooters. Highly recommend for a fun afternoon out instead of the usual bowling or topgolf.

First time shooting for myself and many of my family. Bryan from the front desk and our RSO were both friendly, encouraging, and educative without compromising the importance of gun/shooting range safety. Great people and great experience

I have been a member of sharp shooters outdoor range for years now. IΓÇÖve always appreciated the staff and thatΓÇÖs a large part of why, even though I could use my law enforcement agency range for free I continue to be a member. Today march 16 2024 approximately 1100 am I was going in and while buying a target I asked if I could look at the trunnion on the PSA AK 47 (I use to work at psa and built AK platform rifles). This has never been an issue in the past. Had he just said no or you canΓÇÖt look at it right now that would have been completely understandable. However with out saying anything he just hands me the rifle. I go to remove the bolt (maybe he was worried because he didnΓÇÖt know how to do that). He then snapped ΓÇ£no you canΓÇÖt do that in hereΓÇ¥. I put the recoil spring back in and put the dust cover back on he then snatched the gun from me. IΓÇÖll be going back because I paid for this year. After it expires never again will I go if thatΓÇÖs the best they can provide as far as customer service goes. Bud the owner has always been very accommodating. I wish the rest of his staff was the same.

First time going to an outdoor range. Didn't know what to expect especially with the location being somewhat tucked behind semi-truck shipping companies. Pleasantly surprised that the staff were informative and patient with you. I do recommend going inside without your gear first, to understand rules, expectations, and general flow of the people before you bring in firearms so that everyone knows they are safe around you.

Know before you go! All brass must be picked up BY HAND on the handgun range. IΓÇÖm not sure about the long range. They wonΓÇÖt tell you this until youΓÇÖre done shooting however many rounds you fire during the hour you pay for. Picking up your brass is expected, but theyΓÇÖve decided that you canΓÇÖt use the rake because it rakes some dirt with the casings. We were lucky. When we started setting up, a couple was leaving, and the range had to go cold until they hand plucked (adult Easter egg hunt style) every casing in front of the fire line. After watching them on their hands and knees ΓÇ£policing their brassΓÇ¥ for quite a while (now behind the line) we realized this place wasnΓÇÖt for us. ThereΓÇÖs plenty of places around at the same price or cheaper that provide at least a rake or pan. They will return your money but not without a profuse amount eyerolling and sarcasm. Response to owners response- Three star to a 1 star. Our party of 4 All saw the people on the ground on their hands and knees picking up brass while the range attendant watched holding a rake in his hand. When we asked why the rake couldnΓÇÖt be used we were told it gets the brass too dirty. ItΓÇÖs not a question of policing your brass. ItΓÇÖs a question of how the method of doing so is enforced. Cute, trying to link that to fixing divots. Fixing divots that can be fixed is a common courtesy, much like the fact that we have always policed our brass at every range weΓÇÖve been to with appropriate retrieval equipment. We also donΓÇÖt follow our customers around and force them to fill divots with sand by hand on their hands and knees.

Since purchasing my firearm here IΓÇÖve been mostly satisfied. The owner has a great selection and WAS always respectful. This Sunday I decided to go with some friends and had a mostly enjoyable range experience until the range officer decided to be overly aggressive. IΓÇÖve been to hundreds of ranges so I understand range etiquette. The aggression seemed like a beta male attempting to assert his (ego)dominance and has no place on a firearm range. Moreover, if someone chooses to match energies, it makes for a pretty dangerous environment. Otherwise.. the range is clean & has plenty of space, but is muddy in certain lanes. (Update: Based off the response, the information is incorrect in reference to my review. *in order to leave a range you have to put your things away, in the process my slide closed. The range officer was stern but I respected his response and apologized. My REVIEW WAS IN REFERENCE TO THE AGGRESSION THAT FOLLOWED far after the situation. Either way, IΓÇÖll choose a peaceful range experience over drama any day. Choose this range at your own risk (shrugs)

Me and my son got to the range with 1 hour till close and they still charged full price of 38 dollars. To me that isnΓÇÖt customer friendly and will be looking for another range. I understand a full or half a day for using the range for full price. But one hour give me a break.

Great range for shooting rifles outdoors ! Plenty of pistol bays as well ! Never really have had to wait even during busy times. Went here for several years when I lived in augusta. Typically once or twice a month. I never realized how nice, convenient and rare it was to be able to shoot at a 200 yard outdoor range so close to town until I moved out of Augusta. Also, they were super helpful when doing FFL transfers, with very reasonable and fair fees when compared to other places. Staff was also very helpful on giving advice for sighting in optics if you needed it. 5 star range for sure!

Rifle range goes out to 200yds. Furthest distance you can go in Augusta on a paper target. Ft. Gordon let's you go way further on steel. But for judging group sizes at distances greater than 100yds this is the place to do it. Nice staff, great facility. And close to town. It's become my favorite place to shoot.

I'm from Canada and was in Augusta for work. I came with a first time shooter and the range staff were extremely friendly and professional with safety as a number one priority. The members at this club are beyond friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made our experience the best possible. I have been shooting for over 20 years, and this was the most fun I have ever had on a range day.
