Benbrooks Shoot Smart, is a cool outing for target practice. Thelma was very helpful in getting me started and so was Charles when I encountered some trouble. He was very knowledgeable and resolved my issue right away with instruction and explanation.

Been to a lot of ranges and this place has so far been my absolute favorite. Awesome staff (special thanks to the handy gunsmith), range guides are helpful and just cool in general. Decent prices, always cool guns and has not let me down yet. Compared to some other nearby ranges, this is my favorite so far. Update 4 years later: still go to this one, probably the best most accessible range in the area, chill staff that are always cool and helpful. I live right next to Defender, but I come here cus of the private suites and the staff actually seems like they aren't inconvenienced by your existence 🫡

I had a great time yesterday at the Benbrook location. My first time ever going to a range and shooting for that matter. The staff took the time to explain and answer any questions I had. I will definitely be coming back because they showed me this is fun if properly handled. Knowledge is power and that is what they gave me!! Thanks gentlemen!! Now if we could get a location opened in Burleson...I would be even more happier! Save me some driving and gas!!! Let me know when our Burleson location opens!!!!!

Great experience with John and staff at the Benbrook Shoot Smart. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help. They have a good amount of suites and lanes available throughout the week. I would recommend their membership if one plans to go often as it often pays itself after a couple of visits.

Went in to look at purchasing a handgun. Literally sat there for ten minutes looking at guns and no one even acknowledged that I was there. Just a sorry sir weΓÇÖre really busy right now (which did not seem to be the case) be with you in a minute would have been nice. As much as I love to support local businesses, guess IΓÇÖll be buying that gun somewhere else.

First time in. We pass by each time we visit from Arkansas and have always wanted to stop in. Glad we did this time. Thelma was so helpful in telling us about what you have available to shooters, both new and experienced. Next time I will come armed and ready for some practice time. My wife who does not shoot felt very comfortable and said she would like to give it a try. Thanks again!!!

Used for several purchases being shipped due to awaiting delivery of my FFL. Crew were very good and informative. I also used to range when my son from Belgium visited and got a private lane and had a great time. Son is a Belgian Paro-commando and in NATO and was so impressed that he is moving and going to school in US for his green card and living the dream! Thanks Shooters!

Great customer service! Prices are a bit high but there's no time limit on the range, great range ventilation, everything you need to shoot AND you can double tap & rapid fire! This is rare. Most firing ranges are governed by 1 shot only, every 3 seconds. You can also purchase targets, ear protection and even rent a gun. Easy access of HWY 377 in Benbrook, just north of Winscott Rd.

Weary of giving them my business. Went in to sign up for classes and talk about purchasing some firearms. No one seemed to want to help me besides Reggie I believe his name was but he was new and didnΓÇÖt know how to do the classes registration. Several people who came after me were helped and eventually I just left. I would go to Defender with my business but unfortunately, the only day off my husband has is Monday and they are closed mondays. Maybe itΓÇÖs a rare occurrence for this shoot smart but I definitely felt like no one cared about my needs or wanted to get me setup for new classes and give advice on what to purchase as someone new to the firearms sense. Debating on weather I go back in and try again. Really wanted to do this for my husband for Christmas but definitely not a good experience today. 3 stars because the new guy did want to help me if not for him IΓÇÖd go with no stars.

Love visting this location, and the staff consistently provides excellent customer service! I appreciate the large inventory for gun rentals. Don't have ear and eye protection? They have you covered. Forget your targets? They have many to choose from. Bathrooms have been clean every time I've visited, even on a busy weekend. The knowledgeable & friendly staff is why I come back!

Coming from the UK I just had to give this place a try. IΓÇÖm not usually into guns and I was admittedly quite nervous, but the service here was amazing. The team were really passionate and made me feel super safe. I ended up having a great time!

I seldom write reviews, but I really wanted to do one for Shoot Smart in Benbrook. My wife and I were excited to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary with some shooting in mind. We booked private lessons at 1p here at Shoot Smart. Unfortunately, 3 hours before our lesson was to start, our instructor had to call out sick, leaving us a bit deflated. I called the site to see what options we might haveΓÇöfortunately, another instructor named Bradley said he could step in proceed with the private lesson same day/same time! Bradley was great, seriously. We donΓÇÖt know much about guns but always wanted to learn. He showed us the basics and we got a good amount of shooting in! We left feeling excited and now I got this itch to come back and just keep trying out guns until I decide to make my first purchase! We really appreciated Bradley stepping up and showing us a good time. Everyone else in the shop was very friendly, too. Good vibes there. If youΓÇÖre reading this and looking for a place to start learning about shootingΓÇöpick Shoot Smart, youΓÇÖll be glad you did.

I have been reluctant to handle a pistol in the past, but the details about the parts and how they function within the gun that Joyce, our New Shooter class instructor, taught us gave me the knowledge I needed to load and shoot with confidence. The safe handling of a gun without a safety built in was most valuable. How to place your hands for stability, how to correctly sight the gun on the target, how to breathe properly, slightly bend the elbows, and squeeze the trigger...all were so helpful for a successful experience as a first-time shooter. Shooting looks so effortless, but there are a lot of components that must come together to shoot with accuracy. Information gleaned from questions from the other students and the answers given were very helpful in choosing a gun and selecting the right ammo for that gun. I am very pleased with the outcome of this class experience!
