Shoot Straight Apopka

I have been a yearly member for 5 years now. I am considering not to renew my yearly membership. Why? The remodeling of the lanes was way overdue. ..WHY? The new target tracks are great! BUT the booth has NO lighting? Each booth should have LED lighting with a individual switch.The AC? We live in Florida, hello? It seems this was ignored in the remodeling? Membership should have 1 or 2 free transfer fees per year....They just raised it to $35 per transfer from $25? Why? The other places are looking good to me at this point......On the positive side "Spencer " the gunsmith is excellent!

Don't buy from them online, they listed my item as "new old stock". It may have been new but it was definitely not in good working order. Hard to set a rifle scope when the turret want even adjust. Unreal.

Lots of inventory, way more than you would find on their website. Most items said they were out of stock vs what was actually available.

The other day I forgot my ammo bag at the range, and by the time I came back, it was nowhere to be found. Dustin, the manager, made it his issue to find the bag and used everything at his disposal and was able to find it. This is way above and beyond the expectations! Thank you!

Nice range. Staff was friendly and worked well to handle customers efficiently. Would recommend doubling up ear pro on rifle ranges due to overpressure. Had a great time, and they were able to accommodate a large group.

Well the google page says they are open till 7pm we should up at 6. As we walked in we Hurd them make an announcement that the range would be closing in 30 minutes. Being that it was 6:04 as we walked up to the counter I said ΓÇ£I didnΓÇÖt realize you guys closed the range at 6:30. Do you guys offer a discount since by the time we get in there and start shooting we will only have like 15 minutes?ΓÇ¥ To which the guy replied ΓÇ£no IΓÇÖm still going to charge you for the full hour.ΓÇ¥ I was not about to pay for a full hour of shooting when I would have only gotten to shot for 15-20 minutes.

If you come with your family, they charge you separately but they don't give you a separate line to put more people and they leave you waiting while other people who arrive later get in first, very bad service.

Boss man, give Ben a raise! Recently went into shoot straight looking for an sig p365xl for my womanΓÇÖs EDC. Ended up working with floor manager Ben who was awesome! Worked out a great deal with Ben and ended up upgrading to the Sig P365XL Rose edition, Romeo optic, stream light, two 2A protection insurance policies and more. Spent more than originally planned, but Ben made the deal worth it, made it fun, and also made it very timely. Already deciding which firearm will be next from shoot straight.

This place is a ghost kitchen INSIDE Chili’s. That would have saved me some time looking for it….. I’ve I did finally walk in and ask what the deal was, I was told it was takeout only so u just sat down and ordered from the chilis menu

Management is absolutely horrible and inefficient. They need to be re-trained in business efficiency. Lost profits everywhere. The owner should definitely audit employee productivity via the CCTV cameras. Lot's of wasted productivity time among employees. Worst shoot straight location i have visited.

As far as the range experience, it was good. I had an issue on the range and I tried to get one of the staff involved. There was no range supervisor on the floor, I tried to get the attention of the staff tho the glass. They were not paying attention to what was happening on the range. This was a bigger concern for me. Safety is important, i feel the staff should be proactive when safety incident occurs.

Had a awkward experience today, at shoot straight in Apopka. I went to the gun range desk to purchase target ammo. Where I was met by a young man with dark short curly hair, I asked him for a pack of ammo, which I was given, when I had further questions he continued to mock me and tell me not to run out and steal the ammo I was looking at. I told him I was hunting the next day, and he continued to mock what I was saying and telling me I was better off hunting frogs. I asked him if he were serious? And he loudly laughed in my face. I have always had a good experience here. I was shocked from today. Very disappointed.

Customer service was lacking… Tried to get a battery for my Glock, which took 45 minutes, ridiculously long time to get them replaced. The service was frustrating for a very simple fix and it did not help when their attitude was “they couldn’t care less “. Customers will come back when they are treated with common courtesy, which I did not the experienced.☹️
