Couldn't find it, it was extremely full and busy with other classes at the same time, not enough parking and don't understand why we had to go to Shelbyville when we have locations cloer.

Been a while since I shot here! With the pandemic and amo prices kinda lost interest,But I bought a new gun today and I can't wait to test it at shooters roost. Good people basically helped me learn how to shoot!

It's my go to place to shoot. Safe, clean and very friendly staff. You can shoot any caliber handgun and shotgun. You can shoot a 223 rifle now but you have to purchase their special ammo.

DoesnΓÇÖt need to be fancy to put some rounds down range. The Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities are clean and safe. What more do you really need?

We have been here several times.. always a good experience.. have never felt crowded or rushed. Reasonable prices.. tends to be very cool in the actual range though.. in winter weather be sure to have a sweatshirt along..

On a cold winter or a hot summer day it's nice to know you can go to Shooter Roost and get out of the elements and still have some range time. I have been going to "The Roost" for years now. I live about 20-30 mins away and I still think it's worth the trip. The price was acceptable (I believe it was $20 an hour for one shooter and then if you had someone else on the same lane they were $10 an hour) for going up every once in awhile. But if you start to make it a regular thing they offer yearly memberships but I think the price was a little high. I didn't do the math but in the end if you went a lot it would pay for itself. Also if you're into IDPA (competitive shooting) they have a shoot on Thursday's that lets you run through a course. Fun times for all and it is a great place to take first time shooters to get them comfortable and acclimated with that type of environment.

Nothing fancy but is all that it needs to be and is clean and I have never felt unsafe. Earl is a real nice guy. I quite like that there is a cleaning and talking area with ample table room to root through your range bag, take a look at targets, sit your coat, or whatever. I would like the ability to have brighter lighting when desired, figuring out where your 22 is grouping at the 25yds would be much easier.

It nothing fancy, but do you need fancy in a gun range. You can get the job done here for a reasonable price. And if you are a newbie , they will answer any questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions at the counter. No high powered rifles are allowed.

Go shooting there pretty often mainly because it is conveniently close to my house. The owner is very nice and does not make us pay for another half hour if we are there five minutes longer than we payed for. But due to the fact that it is an indoor range, if there are many people there then it gets very loud and makes for a less pleasant experience.
