Q: Would my 13 yo brother be able to shoot? I'm 24 and would be able to instruct him.
A: Question? Film Studios.....to shoot by yourself, you must be 18....which is a legal adult. If you're underage, you must be accompanied by an adult.
- Josh KW (6 years ago)
A: There is no age limit there. But they do prefer the kids to be over 8
- Josh Sapp (7 years ago)
A: I think the 18 year old response is to shoot solo. My daughter asked and was told 7 with an adult
- Steve Saunders (7 years ago)
A: I would call Shooters World they have a class for kids on shooting, very instructional
- Morgan Aponte (7 years ago)
A: Ages 12 and up are good to go

Q: I noticed on the website that they offer daily concealed carry classes. do i need to register/sign up for these classes or are walk ins welcome?

Q: Can I come shoot If I'm 19?
A: James don't be a tool. You're not funny btw
- ryan (2 years ago)
A: I know its called "Shooter's World" but its a gun range not a bar. You're legally an adult at age 18 so you're good. However, the fact that you asked that question to begin with... Maybe you should be accompanied by another adult. ;)
- James Singletary (2 years ago)
A: My kids had no issues at 19 as long as I was there.
- David Hampton (5 years ago)
Q: Can you bring your own ammo?
A: Absoulutly you can bring your own.
- David Hampton (5 years ago)
A: Yes
- Peter Heuse (5 years ago)
A: Yes you can bring your own ammo however it has to be new, no reloads per range rules, no reactive targets (exploding targets), no tracers or phosphorus rounds. Also no armor piercing. 5.56 M855 green tips are allowed as they are not really armor piercing. If you're wondering if the ammo you have is armor piercing then it probably isn't. You would have to know your buying armor piercing to acquire it. On the 25 yard range, almost any pistol or rifle up to 308/7.76, AK-47s, AR-15s, AR-10s. On the 100 yard rifle (only rifles) up to 50 Cal.
- Tony Kujawski (5 years ago)
A: I think so , but you should probaly call first, or look up their range rules.

Gave me the wrong part and then advised me they had the part but couldn't order it for me. Thought highly of the establishment before this incident and at first thought it was just that employee and shouldn't reflect on the BRAND SHOOTERS WORLD, but they still haven't returned the money for that part I bought two weeks ago!! 😔

Excellent buying experience and first time range user. I also highly recommend taking 1 on 1 training session if you are a first time fire arm owner. The training includes classroom training in safety, and private range session.

I recently visited this location on the behest of my brother-in-law. Despite some low ratings I had seen, I decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad I did! The rating were BS, Shooters World team members Gideon and another young man (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Their professionalism and willingness to help made our visit exceptionally pleasant. What struck me the most was how comfortable we felt as two Black men in an environment that could have been intimidating. Gideon and his colleagues made sure we were treated with respect and courtesy, which isn't something you find everywhere. Kudos to Gideon and his teammate for making our experience so positive. They are true assets to the team!

Another amazing class for ladies, by K (Kaleena). Took the Intro to Handguns in January and learned soooo much from K. She gave me the confidence I needed. So much so I waited for Shooters World to offer Conceal Carry for ladies. I was soooo happy when I found out K was giving this class too. She is truly an asset and beyond amazing. Mind you I sat with hubby during his Conceal Carry some place else several years ago and they taught him nothing. With K I learned soooo much again and will continue practicing at the range. Hubby and I plan to book private class and I pray it is K again because she provides a comfort which allows me to learn. Great job Shooters World for offering this class and having K teach it.

Attended the HR 218 (LEOSA) qualification course. The qualification portion was professional and well done. The classroom portion would benefit from a review of any changes or new restrictions of authority under HR 218 and less time spent on the USCCA membership pitch.

I used to come here a lot. The last 4 visits I have been hit with ΓÇ£Servers are down. You canΓÇÖt shoot yet. Dunno when they will be reset.ΓÇ¥ and ΓÇ£We didnΓÇÖt have enough range officers scheduled. So lanes are closed.ΓÇ¥ and their favorite ΓÇ£The filtration system is broken so the lanes are closed.ΓÇ¥ They say the ownership hasnΓÇÖt changed over the years but the operations certainly have. If you just want to buy a gun at a gun store, this is the place for you. If you want to shoot at an indoor range, there is less than a 50/50 chance youΓÇÖll be able to do it here.

The range is fun, good selection. But I really recommend teaching your customer facing staff some people skills. When you treat your customers poorly, they wonΓÇÖt return. For the employees who had common courtesy, I thank you.

So disappointing. It's been probably 8 years since last there (too far from home and not along my daily travels). Stopped in tonight having been in the area. I recall Saturday nights that were busy until closing. Tonight it was dead. This is a vague shadow of what it was from opening in late 2012 until 2015/16. Not sure what happened, but it looks nothing like what it used to - and it once had more inventory, better displays, more staff, and was welcoming. This felt like walking into an old mall barely staying off life support. At one time, if they didn't have the gun or accessory, it didn't exist. There used to be walls of ammo, safes, a dedicated high end gun room, an optics section, accessories galore, thousands of guns between displays and back-stock, pallets of case ammo. Not tonight. Ownership hasn't changed, but the vision clearly has. I'll be shocked if they exist at all 10 years from now. It's a slow fade.

When renting particular items, they loaded all the bullets and stanf behind you. If someone is familiar with a certain type of gun, they shouldn't have to be watched over.

Terrible experience. IΓÇÖm a competitive shooter and was using the indoor range to do functions check on my firearms. Since itΓÇÖs in close vicinity of my home. There is a gentleman who is heavy set, bald, and with a black beard as a range safety officer. Extremely rude. Lacks customer service experience and has a terrible attitude. While I was function testing my firearms he came up to me and said the ammo I was shooting is not allowed at the range. It has to be fully brass. The case is brass but the bullet itself was coated. Which by the way I never had an issue shooting here with. I ask where is this listed and he stated outside by the door. No where on the rules it states where you cannot shoot a coated bullet. The picture attached shows. This place is filled with people who donΓÇÖt have the slightly clue about bullets and firearms. This individual should be terminated and find a line of work that suits his attitude.

I have been a member at Shooters World Tampa for 13 years . Very nice facility. The gunsmith Sam is amazing !! Every time I go there I always experience some issue ! Only at range .It's like your just a dollar amount and not a paying member . Don't always feel welcome at range . Everywhere else is very friendly and professional. I have brought over 60 people to the range and all agree with me that it's very nice but range needs updating , equipment and friendlier staff !
