- Levi Babich (a year ago)

Q: Is this range open to the public? If so, is there a fee? Thank you, Martin Youngs

A: Yes it's a public range. The rifle range is $6 for a whole day.

- Nathan Miller (7 years ago)

A: It is open to all,$6.00 per person. Very nice range, very strictly monitored. A good time. Hearing protection required

- Mark Lee (7 years ago)

A: Yes it is open to the public and no it is not free it is part of the recreational department.

- Gregg Johnston (7 years ago)

A: Open to the public, I paid 2$ but I think that might be a law enforcement discount. One thing they provide tape for your target but I would recommend taking your own duct tape, the dirt makes there tape fall off.

- Estevan Mora (7 years ago)

A: They also have trap and skeet available to the public, I can't recall the cost but believe it's in the 6-7 dollar range per round

- Veronica Borunda (7 years ago)

Q: Is there any restriction to the type of shotshells I can use, like birdshot vs buckshot? Thank you.

A: I have patterned several shotguns there. When I did it they had a specific frame to use for everything except slugs (for slugs you can use any frame). They are alway helpful, just tell them what you are shooting when you check in on the line.

This was an excellent discovery, and you really get a BANG for your buck! The staff is extremely kind and the views are spectacular. We have been several times now and plan to go again soon. You have the chance to do long-range shooting or short range. The only drawback is that there is a lot of back and forth with the range going cold often, but it's to be expected with the amount of patrons utilizing the range. I highly recommend checking this one out. Give it a shot!!

ItΓÇÖs a big range. You are exposed to the elements. So keep that in mind of you are trying to zero a rifle. If itΓÇÖs windy it will make it more difficult. Nice staff. Plenty of room where you donΓÇÖt feel like the other shooters are right on top of you.

It's a nice range and the staff are awesome. It only costs about $6 to shoot here. Lots of distances to shoot out to and some steel targets to aim for further out.

CABQ needs to get it together. Both google maps and their website says they are open. Drove 45 minutes to find out they are closed. ItΓÇÖs like they have a bunch of fifth graders running their parks and rec website. This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened. Come on guys, get it together and do your job.

The city's shooting range is a great value. The facility was clean. The range officers were very safety-conscious and more helpful than I expected. When I unintentionally violated a rule, they were not mean in their correction. I will be visiting again.
