Q: What are the range fees per person, per gun and is there a time limit?

A: We opened the doors of Shooting Sports & Training Center in 2013. In nearly 11 years we have kept our ranges the same. Thursday is "discount day", where the fee to shoot for one hour is 13.00 (including tax). The rest of week our fee is $15.75 (including sales tax) and includes your first full size target.

Six bays. Brass handgun ammo or fragile rifle. Well maintained. Use the target pulley to set your distance out to 15 yards. Owners friendly.

Great little range! I say this as a former LEO and firearms instructor who has visited countless shooting ranges in multiple states, civilian and state operated. Everyone here is super friendly and the bonus is Jed!, the HUGE English Mastiff on site. Closely monitored and solidly operated firing line.

I like this range. It is small, 6 lanes, clean, professionally maintained, and the lane rental is reasonably priced. The range is air conditioned and they keep the floor swept. You cannot retrieve brass that is on the floor, as they sell it off in bulk, this helps them keep the fees and prices low.

This is a wonderful place for target practice. Elaine was very kind and smiley. Mick was very helpful and informative. My proficiency gets better every time I go there because of the confidence they instill in me! Thank you ladies for your welcoming and professional attitudes!! They provide protective ear and eye wear for free (including foamies lol) They also have an abundance of items to buy to help everyone better their personal arsenal. I’ll be coming here from now on. 👍

Excellent experience. Owners/staff friendly and professional, and instructions were very clear with regards to rules and expectations. I've already recommended to several others and will definitely go again. Cute doggo.

Great little range for those looking to get training or practice handgun proficiency. The lanes are a bit short for sighting rifles, but you could always zero at 25 and adjust from there.

Joe & Elaine are some of the most knowledgable individuals i've had the pleasure of working with. Mr. Joe can be a little prickly at first, but the man has a heart of gold and will genuinely make sure you have the highest level of training, understanding, and safety in mind at the end of your visit. The range is fantastic, and always has ice cold AC as well. HUGE plus for us Houstonians! Additionally, Shooting Sports & Training Centers of Texas is the only FFL transferee i'll use in Houston. Elaine makes the process painless, but makes sure you have all the knowledge necessary. (On top of they are the most fair establishment when it comes to FFL transfer fees. Typically I come in to shoot, or pickup a new firearm and end up striking up fantastic conversation with the team!

Dangerous shooting range IΓÇÖve shot at this range 3 times, and each time the experience got worse. 1st time shooting there was a normal range experience. 2nd time the owner freaked out because I was picking up my own brass; due to his unprofessional attitude I promptly left. 3rd time I went as my buddy wanted some company, although I shouldΓÇÖve listened to my gut and not went to this range. Within shooting my first magazine, a bullet had ricocheted and struck my right ring finger as I was in my shooting stance. Unable to control the bleeding, my buddy and I left. When I was leaving an employee mentioned that they have ricochets all the time, they just never come back above the waist line and the metal barriers protect the customers. Next time youΓÇÖre their check all the damage that is caused by the ricochets before you decide to shoot there and risk an emergency room visit. Picture shows the shrapnel in my finger as I await my surgery appointment. I have spoken to several people that have had terrible experiences at this range, so not sure how this range has over a 4 star review.

My brother and I couldn't have chosen a better place to take the class for concealment gun permit , a highly professional 40 yr Army and Houston police veteran, he will teach the proper way to handle a gun and how to shoot correctly, a non no sense instructor, don't waste your money elsewhere, we are very pleased, good shooting range also, Sgt L├│pez Juan

Traveled to the Houston area from Victoria. My wife had a workshop in the Cypress area. While she was busy doing that, I was looking for a place to shoot. I found this indoor range that was close by, and decided to give it a try. Nice clean range with a very friendly and courteous staff. Highly recommended.

I went with my mom yesterday and it was by far the best gun range IΓÇÖve ever gone to. The workers are so nice and easy to conversation with. They are also very reasonably priced, not like these other gun ranges that try and charge you an arm and a leg. I cant wait to stop by again.

Great place. They are common sense people. Your safety is number one. Best for pistols, but you can shoot rifles with proper ammo. No memberships, which is great! No clean-up. They keep the brass, and it helps keep their cost low. They try to make you feel like family. Headed there again real soon!
