This is the worst shooting range I've been to and I'm a 50 yo retired vet that's been to ranges all over the states. My main issue is that they have terrible customer service. Getting the original account setup was grueling due to the incompetence of the worker using the system. They were not trained on the system. The other main issue is that my information in their system was not consistent. In my case I have a 14 yo son who I have brought multiple times with no issue but on my last trip he was not in the system. Then when trying to find my "guest" account they couldn't find my info. This indicates multiple issues with the poor layout of their system as well as possible issues with data security and retention. Their response to this oversight was that I needed to give that info again and it had to be created again... not that they were sorry for the inconvenience or that they would look into why their system didn't have the information. I informed them I was closing my account and they only responded that they need a 30-day notice so I'm going to be charged another month. This is very poor customer service and also poor business practice. The facility is nice, but I would highly recommend going to XCAL as an alternative for better service and equal quality range.

SEG is a high-end gun range and firearm/accessories dealer. The longest range is 50 years, with an ammunition max of .308. The range safety officers are highly proficient, in control, even when every lane is active. At the same time, they are approachable and helpful. The range has two primary patrons: members and walk ins. Members tend to be fairly serious shooters but I have not encountered any members who cast aspersions or annoyance toward beginners or walk ins. Most walk ins are inexperienced shooters or guests of members. There is a very brief safety and protocol meeting for folks at the range for the first time. RSOs and employees, as well as, in my experience, members, tend to be welcoming to, or at least unaffected by, novices or new shooters. Gun rentals and protective equipment are both available, I have not used either. Like most luxury gun shops, prices are higher than elsewhere, (presumably you're paying a premium for expertise and experience) as is ammunition. Targets of all kinds are available for sale. Their selection of firearms tends toward higher end models with premium optics, etc. (This is not where one buys a Glock 17 with iron sights.) The facility has been in mint condition - flawlessly clean, high end finishes, no visible damage to equipment, flooring, lobby area, fully stocked everything - every time I've been, which is north of 20 visits. They also offer instruction and specialized shooting experiences, I cannot speak to those as I have never taken part. There is a small drink/snack area akin to a hotel lobby sundry shop. Prices are convenience store or slightly higer but not quite extortionist. Things I would improve: have three lanes of 100 yards if physically possible, even with limited time or for zeroing only, replace cardboard backers more often. Saturdays are often swamped with wait times in the 40-90 minute realm. When I've shot on weekdays, I can't recall ever waiting. Overall, this is a five star facility with a staff to match. It is a place where I have seen first timers in sensible flats and SOCOM operators in full rigs having their shooting needs met in adjacent lanes.

Overall a fun place. Mostly Helpful and patient stuff. My family came to visit from overseas and I could take them to the range with no problems. I also really like the 10min safety brief. Short but full information. You can rent and you can bring your own. A big plus is the nice and cozy waiting room with coffee and hot chocolate. It was a little bit crowded with tourist, which I guess is good for the business. Next time I would try to come on the weekday.

Decided to join as a member / family plan, and it's been great and affordable, especially as a group who goes 1-2x/week. Personally, I love this range because it's not super clustered and every 10 or so lanes gets split up so you're not around like a TON of people which is nice. There's a club lounge for members to hang out to wait for lanes and lots of firearms in their armory including a variety to rent. Overall I would recommend and it's good for advanced and novice shooters alike. - insta @ AivyLeague

Great place to shoot but what killed the vibe and the fun for the whole group was one of the workers. It was an old bald man in red shirt guarding the lanes. This man has no respect for people. He was yelling at my mother and father so disrespectfully. She has had previous experience shooting a couple years ago and needed to freshen up, but the way that bald man came up to her was outrageous. After the fourth time him not taking with respect we decides to cut the time short due to my mom having an anxiety attack and she has a medical condition that too much stress can cause her to go to the hospital. Everyone else was amazing and well oriented.

Very clean facility and professional staff. Fred was really patient with my wife and I as it was her first time going to a range. An hour of range time was perfect to introduce my wife to weapons, and she had a blast! Will definitely be coming back.

Courtney was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly welcoming. She listened patiently to my needs and preferences, and then expertly guided me through the options available. Courtney was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. She truly went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect firearm to suit my needs. I highly recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a top-notch sales experience. Thank you to Courtney and the SEG Team!

Best experience in nova for indoor shooting! Staff is friendly and facility is clean and organized. Great for beginners and sharpshooters alike! You have 50 yards indoor for shooting so bring a rifle! Nothing higher than 30 cal family (to include 7.62x39!) Or .45 cal for pistols (sorry no magnum research 50 cal)

Very clean and staff was polite and helpful but took a star off for that one individual worker. I felt very uncomfortable around. I was there to break in my new AR15 build (first time firing it) and to dial in my new scope.

Very passive aggressive staff because I kept swapping out my rental gun to try out others

I recently moved back into the area and started going back to Silver Eagle. I would like to say that the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. IΓÇÖve been there a few times to go shooting, buy parts, and complete multiple gun transfers. I would like to give a big shout out to Courtney, who handles my multiple transfers at one time. I had six transfers, all set in the scheduled time of an hour. Courtney was able to process all six and make sure all of my paperwork was correct within that hour. My set time was later in the day, and I was going to be running into when they were going to be closing; even at that time, she kept a smile on her face and talked to me so I didnΓÇÖt feel like I was just sitting there filling out forms. She made the process extremely easy. Also, when I was asking about other things Silver Eagle offers, she was very informative. I did start asking her more in-depth questions about gun parts, and even though she didnΓÇÖt know, she called over another associate who was very knowledgeable for me to ask the questions to. The employees seem like they enjoy what they do and are not just clocking in and clocking out. They make themselves very approachable and helpful. The only reason why I didnΓÇÖt give them a five-star rating was that you have to wait to set up the appointment to do the transfer after they received the item. They were booked up because of Black Friday sales, so it took one week after the items were delivered for me to get my items. However, they also do have alot of appointment times to do the transfers, so the times they offered were accommodating to my schedule still.

First time here and I have to say. It was worth the drive and the money. My dad, brother, and I have been searching for a good range to go to and saw this place. Definitely did not disappoint! Range was well kept, clean, and very friendly staff. Very informative! Remember folks, as long as you follow range rules, youΓÇÖll be fine and have a great time like my family and I did! I will COME back for sure!!

This is my second time using their range, I wonΓÇÖt come here anymore, the stuff have zero respect specially the ones monitoring the shooting lanes, the guy looks like heΓÇÖs on his 20s telling me to mop the bullet shells while I wasnΓÇÖt even done with my shooting.

The 1-star rating is mainly for their sales section but I'd only rate the actual range as 2-star. 2-STAR RANGE: Facilities are nice but they have questionable practices which result in non-gun enthusiasts being able to take the room temperature challenge and becoming a safety concern to the public. A simple workaround would just be to not rent firearms to individuals who don't already own them but obviously they place profit over safety, along with nickel and diming you on range time because they get so busy. They'll also kick you off the range even if they're not busy. Recommend LEO/MIL folks stay away from this place as there's no specials or discounts unless you're paying for an overpriced membership. If you want a good range that supports your rights and liberties and will let you shoot all day if no one is waiting for a lane, head to the NRA Range in Fairfax. Fees are cheaper there and being it's the NRA, it's avoided by leftists and commies, unlike here. 1-STAR SALES: What could have been a 10-minute transfer turned into an over an hour ordeal. The female (long dark hair, glasses, pasty) that "helped" with a firearms transaction had the personality of a tree. Not only did she not know how to clear a weapon, and likely knew nothing about firearms, she had to ask the customer for assistance, before ordering the customer to point the weapon at a wall with a back office (instead of downwards and away from any person). The office was occupied (violating universal rule #4 of weapons handling) and she wanted the customer to point the weapon there in order to show her how to clear the weapon. Throughout the transaction, she had a terrible, rude attitude and caused additional delays because she had issues with the way the customer completed the Form 4473. Apparently, this range also dictates how they want the form filled out which could bring forth potential future legal issues. Also, they are completely inflexible for times in which you can pick up an already purchased firearm. They have a policy where if you buy online and can't pick up within a month, you forfeit the item and they keep the money. They don't make any exceptions for LEOs so if you're in the community (FIs, LEOs or MIL) with changing schedules, STAY AWAY!

Everyone here is so nice omg!! First time doing anything like this, and I'll admit that I had my expectations going in of what the crowd would be like, but I was so wrong on every last one. Such a welcoming inclusive space all around. Excellent instructors here too with Chris and Cody. Such a great day, I will definitely be a repeat customer now!
