Q: How much does it cost and do u bring ur own bullets or do u have to buy from the range ... also can u shoot shot guns there
A: Contact the Range for prices. There is a waiting list and enrollment drives twice a year in January and July. You bring your own weapons and ammunition. You can shoot shotguns there however they can not be shot above the berm. Shooting clay pigeons on the berm is permitted.

Q: Can you crossbow practice or is it gun only? Thank you.
A: I have never seen anybody use a crossbow there before. But I can ask next weekend for you but I would say only guns.

A: You do not have to be a member to come shoot the IDPA match or the two gun match I do believe is $15 per match.

The range is basically closed on Saturdays for competitions, so plan on using the DNR range if you want to shoot Saturdays. They set up half of the berms for the competition on Friday, so donΓÇÖt plan on shooting Fridays either. There is a waiting list, which shows up in the attitude and customer service of the person who manages this place. In other words, the guy is rude and communication is terrible. Any communications, including the bill for annual membership, they send out comes via email. When the gate goes down, it might be down for a while so read your emails before you go. In the last two years, I showed up 4 times and was not able to get in. I had enough and cancelled my membership. In short: rude manager, canΓÇÖt shoot on Friday/Saturday, unreliable range availability.

My happy place. Been a member for 2 1/2 years now. Steel match and IDPA tons of fun. Highly recommend getting on their waiting list. Only place I have ever felt welcome at unconditionally

I've tried calling multiple times. No answer. Obviously don't want the business. BEST range to shoot at is City Arsenal. DON'T go to PSA either unless you have free range time.

Skip-J Range is a pretty awesome place. I've gone for their rifle shoots, their IDPA shoots, and their 2-gun matches. They really do a great job making you feel welcome and safe. The prices for the matches are fair and they've even caught up with the times and are using technology to track scoring. Over all great place to learn, shoot, and meet others.
