Today was my first time to a range and the staff was fantastic! Theytook the time to inform me of the rules and safety precautions. They were patient and awesome even when I screwed up and starting shooting my rifle at my 7m target instead of the 22m target. Definitely will be coming back.

This is one out of two ranges I believe I've been to in my life and the only one I go to in Jacksonville NC and from the beginning they have been extremely helpful to me and my wife. When I first came in two years ago asking for advice on how to shoot the baretta in preparation for my pistol qualification they have been outstandingly helpful, patient and generous all the way up to now after a year long hiatus from shooting one of their employees serviced my pistol to troubleshoot its failure to eject yesterday. All when I was thinking I messed it up after adding modifications to it turns out all it needed was lubrication and he did it in no time and bam it works like brand new...even though it is brand new lol. Side note you're supposed to lube brand new guns, duh. All the employees are respectful kind generous and offer advice a lot, so it feels easier to ask questions and not feel like your pestering. Highly recommend! Sorry I hope I get your name right thank you Brandon or Brian I truly appreciate your kindness I owe you one! And thanks to ALL the employees every last one has been welcoming!

Awesome and professional team at Sportsman Lodge. They assisted my Son and I every time we come to shoot. They are always attentive and supportive while promoting a professional and Safe location to appreciate our 2d Amendment. Thanks to your entire team. I walked in curious to see if this shop bought used parts, came in just curious I was greeted with a cold shoulder and a smug look by the staff they asked what I was selling I told them and they immediately said no and walked away. Correct your staff please there is no reason to be rude to potential customers. I will no longer be a customer here.

My wife and I had a great experience being at the range for the first time as new gun owners. Paulette, one of their firearm instructors, did an amazing job. We spent 30 minutes in class and 30 minutes shooting our first shots ever, and not only did we feel great, we also did great, especially my wife, who's always been afraid of guns.

Came home as a happy customer, this place would definitely see me again. People here respectful and professional. Went to get my CCW permit here and listen I donΓÇÖt think any other place in Jacksonville makes it more easy to understand the course. They donΓÇÖt waste time here and get to the point, especially on safety once I walked in for my appointment they checked my weapon and instructed me on what to do next. The 8 hours flew by in the class making everything look easy. So definitely worth the hours.

A little more expensive than some other near by ranges, but they had a good selection of the current popular micros. Staff was helpful with advice and suggestions. The purpose was for my wife to narrow her choices for her next concealed carry. What actually occurred is she found more guns to want.

Cheap to rent a range if you have everything you need. Usually around 80 bucks for everything else.

First and foremost this place has an amazing and extremely knowledgeable staff that is very professional and eager to help the customer with any questions. Purchased my firearm there and the process was thorough but also painless. The lodge is kept in a good state of police and the range is spacious and user friendly. I definitely recommend the lodge to all.

The wife and I had a BLAST! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We just PCS back to the states. ItΓÇÖs been 19 years since being back. A lot has changed with the Gun regulations. The staff took their time and helped us get back on track. The facility is wonderful and has many selections of firearms to choose from. The exciting part was the indoor range. Come and check them out!

Today was my first time at the shop and range. Everyone was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I signed up for the concealed carry class and am looking forward to it. I really enjoyed shooting at the indoor range

My husband and I came here for the concealed carry course and having a Fantastic Instructor Like Chris I feel way more confident and knowledgeable about my comfortability with a firearm.. Also looking forward to coming back for the Range to Shoot . Thank you , we'll be back! 3/30/24

Great indoor range! I primarily shoot pistol here, but you can shoot rifles as well, although the targets are pretty close for that. I love that you can rent and try different handguns; this is particularly handy if you're looking to buy something new and want to try before you buy. The staff are great, very knowledgeable and helpful. First time customers have to watch a safety and orientation video, which makes me feel more comfortable when there are other shooters in there with me. If you plan on visiting on a weekend, I strongly recommend that you make an appointment, as they are very busy and you will wait quite a while to get a spot if you do not.

The people make all the difference. There are lots of gun stores and several ranges in the Jacksonville area, but I prefer Sportsman's Lodge because they are good people and they take care of me.
