I really hate to leave this review because the staff at Spring Guns & Ammo in Crosby are generally cool, and IΓÇÖve had no issues with their retail side. However, I do not recommend shooting here, at least not without taking precautions. I blemished three brand-new guns just by lightly setting them down on their shooting tables. The tables seem to be made of steel or some other abrasive material with a surface that scratches firearms like crazy. Tons of scratches on my finishes now, and this was just from normal handling. ItΓÇÖs incredibly frustrating because these were brand-new firearms. I didnΓÇÖt bother mentioning it to the staff because, frankly, IΓÇÖm sure it would have been shrugged off as an ΓÇ£oh wellΓÇ¥ situation. And while I donΓÇÖt know if itΓÇÖs an issue with every lane, it certainly happened in lane 7. If youΓÇÖre planning to shoot here, bring a gun mat or something to protect your firearms, or youΓÇÖll likely end up with scratches and damage you werenΓÇÖt expecting. Unfortunately, IΓÇÖm now stuck trying to buy touch-up materials and hoping I can fix the blemishes. ItΓÇÖs a shame because I really wanted to enjoy this range, but IΓÇÖll be shooting elsewhere moving forward.

1st time customer and the experience was way better than expected. Staff is very, very knowledgeable, respectful, and treated me like they knew me. Not only did they show me what I was interested in, but they also offered me very knowledgeable advice about the products. This is the type of store that you always want to visit. I was there today, going back tomorrow to try the goodies I bought at their place. Keep the great work guys. You got a customer 4 life here.

Solid shop, and good inventory. I stop by here every so often. Staff is always professional and knowledgeable. I have bought at least 6 or so weapons from here.

I got flagged by muzzles 3 different times. 1st time was by an employee with a rifle. 2nd and 3rd was by a person trying to go to the range. You just never know when something could go wrong and all the guys here are way too relaxed about the safety. Gun range customer service guy was also extremely socially awkward to where it truly seemed like he had a disability.

I purchased a suppressor from them and was an issue with it being a used suppressor with the paperwork. So they worked with me on getting a brand new one and the customer service from the manager and assistant manager was outstanding. Will definitely be buying more stuff from them due to their excellent customer service.

Great indoor range with great, knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful staff that have the patience needed to help new shooters feel more comfortable with their firearms. They have firearms available for rent if you don't own your own. The first time I went with my mom, they helped us get set up on the range and gave us a free in-depth lesson, showing us how to properly handle and hold the pistol and showed us pretty much everything we needed to know. The trainer spent a lot of time with us to show us everything and brought out a few different handguns for us to try without charging extra for rentals, so we could shoot different calibers and styles to see what we were most comfortable with since we didn't currently own our own. Because of the care and attention they showed us, I will continue to come to this range. I wish I could remember the guy's name that helped us so I could mention him here by name and say thanks, unfortunately I don't remember and it's been a while since I've been back up there, but I think he was one of the owners. They also buy and sell guns, ammo and other gear here too.

My first time at a shooting range. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions politely. I had no issues with trying different guns and got help from the staff when needed. Very reasonable price, and left happy and satisfied with my first experience. Highly recommend for first time shooters who want to try rifles and handguns.

Recommend the one on one training with Pam. She was very informative about safety and the pistol, used great training mnemonics, her 3 P's I will use every time I fire. I am a novice and I am so glad I took this training, it gave me the confidence to be more comfortable knowing how to handle the pistol safely. I will definitely be taking more trainings at Spring Guns & Ammo-Crosby. As an added star I did really well the first time shooting at the range with her guidance.

Great place, and very reasonable price for target shooting. Ms. Hollie was very attentive, knowledgeable, and a great helper. We went 4 persons. 1 lane, 2 guns, and a box of bullets (50 counts) for $70. I highly recommend this place.

Above and beyond my expectations! These ladies not only made sure my sons and I were covered safety wise but I have a broken ankle and they accommodated me with an extra chair inside the range that made our visit so comfortable. We brought arΓÇÖs and several pistols and the range met all our needs. I had a jammed.223 shell and they had a bore clearing tool which was nice. They provide squeegees for the range floor as well. They have plenty of ammo and even gun rentals. Air conditioning in the range. 3hrs on fatherΓÇÖs day and it was awesome! This is my go to from now on! Thank you ladies!

Most accommodating range IΓÇÖve been to. Clean, friendly, and theyΓÇÖre firm enough with the range rules that IΓÇÖve felt comfortable enough to bring my kid with me several times. I drive 50 min out of my way to come here vs some of the closer ranges.

My experience with William and Hollie at the SGA Crosby location has been absolutely incredible and wholly positive. The location staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I was offered a fair trade on some guns that I traded for a new pistol and then William and Hollie did an excellent job working on getting me an ΓÇ£blue labelΓÇ¥ Glock through the GSSF program. The entire time, William and Hollie were patient and helpful. I have already begun recommending SGA Crosby to friends and family for all their gun, range and training needs. I'm 67 yr. old lady, bought my first Gun there in Nov. 2022. I am very pleased with the knowledge of my salesman Kelby in choosing the right gun for me. I also train with Pam Branum, licensed instructor. I don't know what I would do without her, she is amazing. I'm gaining knowledge & bullseyes, thanks a million Pam ! I look forward to each session.

If u want to trade your gun In for a new one, these people will rip u off. They will give you as less for your gun as possible. Other than that, itΓÇÖs a great gunshop

Very nice gun shop. Great prices on lane and gun rentals. It would be a 5 star if they had more variety of caliber guns to choose from and a couple more lanes. But still, one of the better gun ranges around. Definitely check them out.

The location is great. Middle of Crosby where all the construction is over the bridge. Interviewed with management that said at the time ΓÇ£they needed someone yesterdayΓÇ¥. didnΓÇÖt receive a call back. I had to call back 5 times cause management was out of office for a week only. to finally get ahold of someone to confirm they moved on with someone else. Not a business a iΓÇÖd wish to shop at or work for if communication is this weak. Do better.

Went to go buy a Cz Scorpion today and from the time I walked into the store all the staff members were very nice and helpful. The employee who last name is Grant took time to explain the gun to me, and unlike some gun stores you dont feel rushed. Everyone should go checkout Spring Guns and Ammo in Crosby Texas. They have a range and you shoot free after buying a Gun there. Their selection is very very nice.

Fantastic experience bringing a new shooter for purchasing their first handgun. Employees were very knowledgeable, kind and not pushy. Took the time to explain pros/cons and answered all questions.

I've been here a couple of times, and I really enjoy the range here. It's clean, the staff is nice, and the prices are really good on the range. You can easily practice for your LTC exam here, as the proper ranges are marked on the floor. You can also get your LTC exam done here as well. You can even rent guns to shoot on the range, though I haven't done so. I'd give them 5 stars, but I haven't purchased a firearm here as of yet.

Wont be back again. Went in for some 9mm ammo. Got some fmj and a box of hp. The fmj was about $8/box more than everywhere else as expected. But I asked about the price of some federal HST vs the sig. The sig hollow points were $20. The guy said they were the same price for the federal. After checking out I realize he lied. The federal were $30/bx of 20. Save yourselves some money and take your business elsewhere. Hell even academy has ammo on the shelves at all times for $10/box less for HP and the fmj

Actually a good gun shop with a nice ish indoor range. The best part about SGA Crosby is that there are a total of zero old fuddies working there. So feel free to take a female there and be assured the guy behind the counter isn't going to just stick the closest pink ruger in her hand. The staff, for the most part, knows what they are talking about. They were great when I ordered a suppressor. The only negatives are the lanes at the range could be longer and they could remove the old rule based on a myth and allow steel ammo to be fired.

Cant wait to go again. Brought 2 pistols and rented 2. Me and my 12 year old went and shot 300 rounds or so. Had a blast. Zero issues of any kind from rented guns, ammo, atmosphere, or employees. Right by my house...cant beat it.
