Highly recommended range one of the best outdoor ranges. IΓÇÖve been to in a long time. The staff is extremely professional, the RO Jake top-notch he can help you with any of your shooting needs or questions. Very knowledgeable with firearms. CanΓÇÖt say it enough. I highly recommend this will be my new range to practice.

Absolutely great experience. Took my daughter to shoot here for the first time with a brand new rifle. Every single staff member and most of the other shooters even were all very helpful in getting it sighted in and shooting. Great place plan to go back in October after the remodel is done.

This place was awesome! Met someone here from the other coast and this was midway for me from Bradenton and everyone here was awesome. I arrived earlier and the owner invited me to stay in the AC while I waited and let me do some pistol maintenance, she even gave me a quick tour of the area and could not have been a nicer person to deal with. When we got to the shooting Jake was the range officer and he was also incredibly nice and happy to give shooting tips and joke around with us between firing. Overall it felt like I was a guest visiting family and shooting on their land. 100% will be back.

Came here a few weeks ago to meet a friend for a range trip. It was an excellent range, I havenΓÇÖt found too many public ranges that go out past 100-200 yds. They have a 300 yd rifle range and said they plan to expand to 500 yds. They also had various steel plates at different ranges already positioned to shoot which was great. Super friendly staff as well. It was well worth the 1.5 hr drive for me, IΓÇÖd drive out here any day over my local range.

Fantastic place to shoot. The owner and range officer are very friendly and helpful. The range officer went out of his way to help mix an issue with my pistol. I wouldn't shoot anywhere else.

The best range IΓÇÖve visited in Florida. Extremely safety focused but also a fun experience. They sell targets and ammunition on site. Pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges. Highly recommend, and you canΓÇÖt beat the prices!

Great range, super nice staff, sweetheart of a dog, clean restrooms, and it's all surrounded by gorgeous wilderness. Also, Tim is a great range officer and a super nice guy. Directions were simple, clear, and effective.

"Square 1" It's like stepping through a imaginary time portal each time I drive down the 3/4 mile entrance pillared with beautiful crafted and safely monitored double automated gates. For me I find myself reminiscing back in time to our homestead here in SW Florida. nearly 40 years ago I was walking, hunting and sighting in my rifles while the Hoopers (Whooping Cranes) 40 and 50 in numbers could be seen around the marshlands, the snipe, the Bullbat, the Field Larks with their golden breasted feathers, the screech owl, deer, the nearly extinct mule footed spaniard ferrell hogs, all of Old Florida . Here at Square 1 they've somehow managed to encapsulate all of this via a internal drive within them which is obvious : love and preservation for Native Florida wildlife and the ecology for their children's children. And All Floridians native or new comers alike from all walks and states are greeted with genuine southern manners . To add to this Square ! has no lack of knowledge for the "New World " of technology and digital media know how. Priority is Safety and every Range Officer is well trained, Active Duty , Veteran and / or Local Law Enforcement which every one is all game face on and serious. When the range is closed out comes the kindness and mutual respect they freely offer and is so appreciated and rare in this world today. Square 1 also leaves me with a feeling of patriotism as they proudly and justifiably so , show pictures in the office of generations of their family Serving this country and their love for the USA is 20/20 evident and is much respected. This is a brief synopsis of what Square 1 offers, I'd be here all day writing the pluses offered. Overall a well put together Mission and Objective which I can not only attest to but would encourage you to try Square 1 first even if it's a further drive , you'll find along with the other reviews that I'm spot on . I like coming here because it's convenient, the lady who runs the place is absolutely delightful, and the price is reasonable, however, a simple set of range safety rules should be clearly posted AT THE RANGE. The reason this place doesn't get five stars is because the "range safeties" have a tendency to hover and ask a lot of questions about what I'm doing there, which makes me feel like I have a FED standing behind me, which doesn't make for a relaxing range day.

My wife and I, went to square 1 range February 2024. And we both loved it. The minute we turned in to the driveway it was perfect. It's a long scienic drive to the range/office. Once we arrived at the office, we were happily greeted by Jake. He was absolutely knowledgeable about the owners rules and procedures. He explained everything in detail, he assisted us until he knew that we were comfortable with everything. I've been to many ranges in my time,being prior military/retired. And this range is nicely situated, clean, and ran very professionally without being over bearing.. After our shooting, Jake showed us around the place. He explained about the camping options, the costs.... which were very reasonable. Whenever we visit my wife's family, we will be visiting the folks at square 1 range as well. And looking forward to camping there as well as the shooting experiences. Thank you Jake for your time, my wife learned much from your techniques and advice. See you soon 😊

I spent some time at the pistol range today. First time there. The owner and the staff were very professional and friendly. The property is large and well taken care of. I highly recommend!👍👍

Great local shooting range. Friendly staff and excellent facilities. The skeet course is great! The course is set up in the woods, which gives tighter shooting lanes, which is different from many courses I have been to. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Truly awesome shooting range. Nicely kept up. Price is very reasonable, and have provisions in house. Jake the Range officer was very easy to talk to, informative, and helpful. Extremely pleasant experience. 100% will be back.

Today was the first day here for me and my son. We had a great time. Staff were excellent! The range masters were very helpful with an issue I had with my rifle and helped to get it fixed and firing properly. Definitely recommend this range. They are very serious about safety also. Will mot be my last time visiting. Thanks for the experience

Stayed the night with my girlfriend and our puppy on the property, hit the range the next morning. Great experience, beautiful property, the owner and her family that run the place are just all around awesome. Just be respectful and have a great time! This is also my first ever Google review and I felt I had to throw it out there for square 1 shooting range!

Had a sporting event in Sebring. Afterwards, my friend, his son and I headed to the range. We were late getting to Square 1. Martile and her son were there to greet us. It was late afternoon and they close at 4pm. We bought ammo, paid our fees, got set up in a golf cart, etc. Martile guided us to the first stand of the sporting clays course, ensured we knew the rules, safe gun handling, and gave us a couple shooting hints. Very nice, very thoughtful, very much old school, genuine Southern Hospitality. Off we went. We were the only people at the range. The day was perfect, the course is so much fun, we were having a blast ... and lost track of time! We realized it was closing time, skipped the last couple stands to get back. Long story short, we ended up at the rifle range burning a little gunpowder. Martile had chores to do and allowed us to stay late. She didn't have to, could've sent us down the road but didn't. That was meaningful to us and sincerely appreciated. We'll never forget our afternoon at Square 1. Just an overall good, fun experience and some great memories, thanks to the crew at Square 1. We'll be back. Please, make the time to go visit. It's a beautiful, relaxed, comfortable setting with everything needed to have a fun day of shooting sports. Highly recommended!

Absolutely great range..... sporting clays have a really nice setting amongst the palms. The rifle range is perfect. This is the second time we have gone there and am looking forward to returning again. The range owners are wonderful people, very courteous and helpful in explaining their range policies.

Absolutely awesome property run by kind and caring people. We took a bachelor party out with 9 guys and they were incredibly accommodating making the novice shooters feel comfortable and letting the avid guys show off. The sporting clay course is amazing but they have pistol and rifle ranges as well. Something for everyone. Thanks again to Martile and her team!

I hadnΓÇÖt shot a shotgun for 15 years and took my 12 year son out for his first time along with some friends. Relaxed on a golf cart and shot clays going every which way in a peaceful setting. Extraordinarily friendly owner and son and a beautiful place. My son canΓÇÖt wait to come back. Fantastic.

This is a great place to visit. In addition to the hand gun and rifle ranges, this place has one of the best sporting clays courses in Florida. You take a leisurely walk (or gold cart ride) through a beautiful oak hammock and you come to a stand at the edge of the hammock and shoot 3 or 4 pairs of clays. Then you walk through some more oak hammock and come to the next stand. The challenge at each of the 16 stands is different. Some are pretty easy and other will test your skill level. It's really the way sporting clays should be. Not all easy, not all difficult. Martile is an owner and she is there most days seeing to the operation. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and is also a clays shooter. The ranch is family friendly and a great place to take your kids to shoot. The rifle range is complete with steel targets or you can place paper targets out to 300 yards. They even have instructors available by appointment. I hired Scott Schnelle to teach me how to shoot clays and he was great. Scott got me shooting in the high 80s after just a couple of lessons. I've been to other sporting clays venues in Florida but I really prefer the laid back feel and comfortable atmosphere at Square 1.
