Q: Just went by to shoot today. Yellow tape all across the entrance. Anyone know why its closed? Saturday July 11th. 7pm..
A: Makepeace is same way. Appears they have closed due to lack of staffing. Guessing they are getting more game wardens and maintenence staff

A: You need hunting licenses and rifles and shotgun only paper targets and Clay birds

Q: Nice affordable place to shoot if you have a hunting license. If you don't have a license just get one it's much cheaper than a club.
A: You can use steel targets they just need to be spinners

I wanted to practice my archery to relax.but you need a hunting license shoot there. I don't want kill anything just want exercise and relax.

This is a great shooting range. As long as you have your hunting license it is easily accessible and the facility has been recently updated.

Glad to have such a simple, but nice range so close to home. Remember to carry in carry out. Too much garbage left behind by the users of this range.

Beautiful scenery, GREAT trails walking or 4x4, waters extremely too low this year (for this time of year ), thought waters great, could use a few less babysitters, and EVERYONE needs to clean up their trash, it's clean tho, great place to disappear for a day to!!!!
