One of the BEST gun stores I have ever visited. The owner Joey was very warm and welcoming alongside the other staff. They were very professional and helped answer my questions without making me feel dumb. This place is incredible and the best spot to pick up new items added to the CA roster. If you need it, they have it. This is the place to be!!

Loved the ability to fire rds down range and try their rentals as a date. DidnΓÇÖt make me feel out of place or that I asked a dumb question mostly. Would come back and maybe use their CCW course.

It's always a good time at the shooting range at Stage Stop Gun Shop. Michael was very friendly, helpful, and engaging. His knowledge of the different firearms, shotguns, and riffles was impressive.

This place has the worst customer service. They donΓÇÖt give any damn about customer service at all do not waste your time with this place. They are a bunch of cool guys that not care less about your experience. They just lost my business and all my friends and families business forever they are extremely rude, and are not willing to help

Scammers wonΓÇÖt get paper work started till gun is paid off even though the employee told me I just had to put 30 percent down for them to start the background and could pay the rest after the 10 days at pick up now they want a 30 percent restocking fee never shopping there again horrible experience

I'm disappointed. I take my family here after to the range. And I always have my own ammo. And for the first time I rented a pistol there and I was told I had to buy there ammo and can't use mine.incas my ammo damages there pistol. ? Like what ?? Super weird and very odd. It was one worker not the whole staff. Stay away from the Short Asian dude. Rude and not professional at all , I was embarrassed for the company. All the other staff members been great.

This place is only good for shooting range and CCW. They are taxing on their guns. At Alquist Glock 19 $500 and at Stage $600. Save your money and go to Alquist.

I reached out to 4 or 5 gun shops in the area including Stage Stop looking for some hard to find ammo. None of them were overly willing to help locate it except Stage Stop. Joey returned my email right away and explained he had a few boxes in the back that he would be willing to sell me and I could come by anytime. When I went in the staff was friendly and the ammo was in the back waiting for me just like he said. After this experience Stage Stop is defanitly my go to shop for all my needs. Thanks Stage Stop!

2nd time coming here this past Sunday. My first time was good and was during opening hours, so there was only 3 ppl shooting at the time. This time we were put in the rifle range due to the pistol range being full. After shooting a few hundred rounds, the room started getting hot. Forehead and hands were sweaty and couldn't grip gun so I called quits. Sadly, I lost my Hellcat Pro OSP plate and was not found. During my time entering and leaving the range door, I realized folks block the door. Should have some red tape or something indicating to keep clear of door. Overall good range. Since I've gone to only 3 ranges so far can't really rate much. Will definitely go here if there is nothing to do in Atwater.

Won a rifle in a raffle. Went to pay fee's and background check. Nice looking store, very nice staff. Explained the process in detail. I would recommend this gun store for all your gun related items. They also have fishing equipment. Check it out.

Used to be a nice place to buy all my firearms and fire arm accessories. But the last time I went to purchase a firearm, I went in shopping for .22 pistols, the sales rep managed to sell me a 9mm, which I didnΓÇÖt notice till it was time to pickup. Ended up having to pay an extra $75 to be able to pick up the fire arm I was trying to by to begin with. Now IΓÇÖm just frustrated that I spent a ton of money on the family 1 year membership for the shooting range. Spent over $500 to never go back and use it because I refuse to give another dollar to this business.

Honestly this place has the worst customer service! I have been here about four times now and and all four times they seemed bothered while helping me. Today was the last straw that pissed me off. The guy that helped me seemed annoyed and every time I asked a question he would roll his eyes or make a condescending remark. Avoid this place, Turlock Alquist is WAY! better FK this place and that guy that helped me!
