Love the facility, the range is modern, well lit, and easy to operate. The showroom is very well stocked with nearly anything you want and or need, and the prices on the products are not inflated. The staff is friendly and eager to assist you for questions and to look at inventory. I travel around the state for work and have visited several indoor shooting ranges and I was very impressed with this place. I highly recommend it to new and experienced shooters.

The facility was very nice. Every member of the staff I talked were very friendly and knowledgeable. Only thing that would make it better is a longer range to shoot rifles. 25 yards is longest available.

Was racially profiled after walking around the store for 10 minutes while waiting for a lane to open. Their were plenty customers in the store and no one had an issue with the supposed smell of cannabis as i am not a smoker nor the company i had with me.I spoke to multiple employees while we walked around the store. My nephew was looking at ear protection and as he opened the box (he did purchase the ear protection). A random employee said he smelled cannabis and asked us to leave. I told him neither of us smoked yet we were asked to vacate the location. Now i have shot here before with zero issues.

This place is AWESOME!!! So much selection and any accessory you need for any gun!!! Great prices on range time!! Bought a Streamlight TLR-7 Xsub for my Sig Sauer P365 XL. Normal price $159.99 + tax. Got it for $138.97 tax included!!! If you're ever in Macon stop in and see them. Plus they gave me a free hat and free T-shirt for signing up for a package that costs $14.99 bi-weekly. Package includes free range time. Free machine gun rental on birthday!!!

My daughter and I had a great Daddy Daughter date at the range!! Steel Forest is clean, temperature controlled and modern. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and safety minded. There is a great, comfortable and relaxing lounging area to wait in if you need to, or you can browse the large showroom of guns and accessories. I appreciate the on site gun smith keeping my collectible firearms in working order. There are also special events which is a pleasant upgrade from just going to shoot and scoot. My date on Valentine’s Day was ‘surprised’ by me, taking her to one of the special events at the club… We all had a great time!!

This by far was the best experience I have ever had at a Shooting Range. Employees were cordial and helpful, the facilities are top notch, like no other I have experienced before. Wonderful place to shop for all your gun needs if they don't have it they can probably get it for you there's just something about purchasing a firearm and then going and able to shoot it the same day decide it in and test it out not to mention they're amazing selection of firearm rentals and suppressor rentals to kind of give you a try before you buy scenario 10 out of 10 Love this place highly recommend and if you can get the membership you save so much money if you're an advoc shooter and you shoot often

Had a bit of a wait time but with the common courtesy of the staff and the abundant selection ofarms made it easy time spend ( literally) . Have over 15 years of experience with firearms and this has to be the most laid-back and customer oriented gurangege I have been to for many reasons. Not many gun shops leave the cabinets open for you to openly pick up or as they say "Try ME" without having to hassle a staff member and believe me they have everything you need, was very surprised by this layout and business plan but very attractive to the gun enthusiast like myself. Range is very up to date on technology and friendly range officers allow shooters that are capable to rapid fire WITHIN reason respectfully. From a Ruger 10/22 to a honey badger and more they got you covered! Good times and great staff!

I went into Steel Forest Range feeling intimidated about what to expect at a shooting range, being very inexperienced, and I was super impressed. The range safety officer was extremely helpful and I left feeling a thousand times more confident shooting a pistol than when I walked in the door.

Every time IΓÇÖve gone to Steel Forest IΓÇÖve dealt with a different employee. They have all been professional, kind, and informative. Other gun stores have been intimidating, but Steel Forest has done a great job of creating a welcoming environment!
