Q: If a 21 year old rents a gun at the range, can a 16 year old shoot? What about a 14 year old?

Q: do i have to have a gun licenses to rent guns at the range? and how much does it cost to rent a gun and bullets? and how old do i need to be there like 18 or 21?
A: I believe 20 bucks for a rental plus ammo.

A: You can't be a felon or prohibited person to rent firearms. No gun licenses are required for rentals in Minnesota.

A: A license is not required. Prices depend on the firearm being rented. Give them a call and they would be happy to answer those questions. I believe you need to be 18 to rent but it may be 21. Again, call and they would be happy to advise.

Q: If my address on my license isn't current.... can I still purchase a shotgun if I provide another government document proving my residence?
A: You will be required to show a current form of government photo ID in order to purchase a shotgun from us. That includes driver's license, state id card, passport, DOD, and any current photo ID issued by the Federal, State or foreign government or a political subdivision thereof. If you have a current passport you can provide it with supplemental ID showing your current address such as a water bill, sewer bill, hunting license, vehicle registration, voter registration, municipal power bill or tax bill.

Nice place to go and pop off a few rounds!! Legally of course!!! And in one of their stalls! Oh and they sell fire arms.. and you can rent a machine gun! Who knew!

Went to the league shoot and enjoyed the competition. It was really busy but they kept the shooting moving right along.

I have been a member for a year. I recently found out Stock and Barrel has fraudulently charges on my account. I will never give them access to another credit card. They new about it and did not inform any of the members affected. This very poor customer service!!!! If you are a member I would check your credit card statements. I would like to take the time to update my review. Kevin Vick ( CEO of Stock and Barrel)took the time to reach out to me. We had a good conversation. The staff sent out email about credit card mishaps. My emails went to a junk file and I didnΓÇÖt see them until a few days later.. Kevin assured me he was working diligently to get everything resolved. I would like to publicly acknowledge his response to a unfortunate situation.

They charged my credit card $850 (which they should have never kept on file as I canceled my membership a long time ago). I called and they essentially told me to dispute it with my credit card company, offering almost no explanation other than they have been experiencing "fraudulent activity". Great tech security for a gun club. Wouldn't be a 1-star review but I actually had to cancel my membership twice and they offered no refund for the several months I had been charged after my first cancellation. Totaled up I think I'm at like $1500 of donations to Stock & Barrel after all of that.

Excellent range, Steve made the MN permit to carry qualification very straightforward and comfortable. Very clean and lots of couches. Would recommend to anyone.

Very modern knotty pine interior. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Great fun learning a lot about all firearms. If you want to learn how to shoot, start here. They will give you the info you need and confidence. Fun!!

* For some context — a friend basically dragged me there after asking me for over 6 months to come with him and try out shooting, but I was too scared! I had never held a gun in my life. I finally told him I was down to go and try it (while I was tipsy). He held me to it. I almost backed out… after the first 3 tries with a .22, I was in loveee. I love it here… the employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Both locations have a good range of classes (*see what I did there*) with great instructors… from women-only classes/clubs to the training certificate you need to acquire your permit to carry (the MN permit also covers many other states that you can carry in.) basically, it’s a great place to go whether you’re having a girls or guys day, your practicing for competition shooting, or if you’re just bored and want to have fun while learning to do something new and exciting (WHILE STAYING SAFE & HAVING GUIDANCE). Took the conceal and carry course in person here. The instructor was very straight to the point while covering necessary information. I appreciated the efficiency of this course and that everything was included (gun, ammunition, protection). Will probably be returning here in the future.

Excellent shooting range. The staff is very helpful. They do get busy but I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and got right in. Highly recommend

This was my first time with a gun and this was the best place to go! The staff explained all the options and which gun would be best for the first try and everything. They were patient, helpful and ensured we knew all the safety rules.
