It's still a great place to go to actually shoot, and the staff isn't a problem. The problem is they are now owned by freedom outdoors, the customer service has tanked. I got sold a firearm and was told and given a card for "lifetime warranty" I bought the firearm because I know it can be problematic, but since they offered a lifetime warranty I still went with it. Well a part of the firearm broke, they refused the warranty and the GM's scapegoat was "we are owned by another company, and no longer offer that" I bought it 3-4 months ago....look into freedom outdoors, the customer service is kinda known to be meh. Still a great place to go shoot.

I visited this location as a last resort after I found out an employee of mine had never shot a gun, and I believe a man should at least have that experience once in their lifetime. Our original plan was to go to the local outdoor range, but had to be redirected due to us getting off work later than expected, and so I decided to give this place a shot... I honestly should have waited till the next day. While in the parking lot at work, I noticed I'd left my ID at home, but fortunately had a photo of it on my phone so figured they'd take that - And I was overjoyed to learn they "would" after a quick phone call and having their policy on the matter confirmed by a staff member. I was told if I emailed it to them, they could print it out and that would be sufficient. Awesome, right? Well, on arrival I was immediately told that they'd need a physical license and even though I had been given bad information, there was no way I could go into the range, despite driving over 30 minutes. At no point during the conversation did the manager show any type of accountability or emotion (extremely condescending and monotone reciting the "policy") in reference to their mistake, nor did she try and make it right. Half of the staff really seemed very uncaring about their job and unenthusiastic, almost like they look down on their customers. We were made to feel like we were bothering people when we spoke to them and not valued customers spending money. In all honesty, the only reason they still have the M82A1 in the lobby is because they put such a bad taste in my mouth I'd rather have bought it from some guy standing by the railroad tracks in a trench coat... But I digress. Anyway, since the entire trip was for my employees' sake, I let him take my guns in and shoot without me while I viewed through the windows. The guy who went in with him (can't remember his name) was a nice guy and showed him how to operate my firearms with proper safety guidelines; he even was courteous enough to come out and let me know he couldn't shoot the shotgun because I'd accidentally left dragons breath shells in the bag instead of swapping for bird shot - Very nice guy. Unfortunately, that's where the good customer service ends. For 20 straight minutes one of their staff members was walking around behind the counter taking pistols out of the display cases, racking the slides and dry firing, extremely unprofessional and essentially taking lifespan off of each gun he was negligently using. I also tried to see if they had an FN57 (I pronounced it 57 instead of five-seven because I've never owned one and run a million dollar corporation and don't sit around all day studying unnecessary gun pronunciations) in stock to which the staff member responded in a very condescending manner, "You mean Five-Seven?!", then proceeded to vaguely answer the question, all while the manager was sitting behind the counter on her phone with the other guy still just carelessly racking and dry firing - It was honestly a complete and utter mess. Anyway, one of the nicer guys in the facility eventually realized they had messed up and came over and gave me a guest card or whatever for my next visit, but by that time I was already checked out. While I appreciate the gesture, it was completely the wrong way to handle it. I've personally reached out to customers even while on vacation when we made mistakes, or had my district manager make contact on-site to rectify issues, but all the manager did was ask, "Did he give you the card"? While we were checking out before leaving without even looking up at me - I don't even know what to make of it. At first I thought they were a little discriminatory because I had a plate carrier on (I'm not about to get shot in the back by some noobie and leave my unborn son without a father or my company without a leader). But the other reviews confirm it's something deeper, and an executive needs to step in to train leadership and customer care. If sales are down, now you know why.

Super clean, awesome staff, and good clientele. The purchase and rental selection is very competitive with other local ranges without having the right wing politics.

I wish there was a way to give a zero star being this is the second incident. Hopefully, the transition period in which the store is in brings about forging a new team thatΓÇÖs not rude, condescending, or just plain unprofessional. Considering how important firearm laws, training, and safety are, you would expect the employees to actively engage and participate. Nevertheless, the saying goes one rotten apple spoils the whole bunch.

I bought a membership to this gun range and in one month they closed early one day I went. They were closed due to an indoor gun range on another day and then they wouldnΓÇÖt let me shoot because I I had forgotten my wallet. Customer service is mediocre best. I even took one of my guns into be repaired and they wouldnΓÇÖt work on it, but GABLES said no problem

First ever time shooting here. The staff were friendly and showed me how to safely use the weapons. The range was really cool and the selection of guns was cool to see. The staff recommended the guns I used and they were great choices because I had such a blast. 100% would visit again if I come back

It would have been nice to have shot at this facility however management can't seem to respond back properly to their own rescheduling of meeting invites. Was wanting to book for a party of eight however I needed to talk to an event coordinator where email seems to be the only form of communication. Was scheduled to have a phone call. But they seem to can't keep their own rescheduling services. I didn't like the back and forth between sending me between the Douglasville location in Midtown location. Did three follow-up calls to get no response. Hopefully you'll have a better customer experience than what I had

I attended the beginnerΓÇÖs class with my daughter. This was her first time at the range and using a firearm. Chazz, our instructor, was OUTSTANDING! She educated the class on the rules, techniques, how-to's and more. Following which, she supported us and gave additional instruction when we got on the range. We highly recommend this class - and especially - with Chazz.

Go to for my FFL. From time to time they have reasonable prices on Rifles & Optics. Handguns however, are poorly priced ( I own a Glock 35 gen4 40 S&W & Colt 1911a2 45ACP both purchased from in store ***both were overpriced*** retail $689 & $918 respectively) I'd suggest CheaperThanDirt, GunBroker, or BudsGunshop an use Stoddard's as the FFL if applicable. The Gunsmithing here is *Chef's kiss*** 5stars in general however nothing is perfect.

Excellent experience! I took the WomenΓÇÖs Only BeginnerΓÇÖs class Module 1 with my eldest daughter. This was our first time at a range and using a firearm. We were TERRIFIED! Chazz was our instructor and she made sure we were comfortable and reassured us every step of the way. She educated us on the proper use and technique and gave us confidence when it was time to begin shooting. I would definitely recommend this class and private lessons with Chazz. We will definitely be back!

I love this place. I came here for MotherΓÇÖs Day with my husband. My only gift that I wanted was to get a new gun and go to the range for a stress reliever, because I didnΓÇÖt want to sit around and think of my mother not being here anymore. This place was the most amazing spot to accomplish just that. The staff were awesome! If you want somewhere to go shoot and relax, this is the place to go. Awesome job you guys!!!!

My wife and I went on MotherΓÇÖs Day for the first time and it was an awesome experience. The staff were helpful and courteous. They have an electronic sign in, a quick competency test to make sure you know how to safely handle weapons, and then they check your weapons and ammo. Only brass is allowed, but most people have that. Also, only slugs and ΓÇ£00ΓÇ¥ buck is allowed for shotguns and no green tips for rifles. Overall, this experience has put this as my favorite gun range. Now, IΓÇÖm considering getting the annual membership. Also, you can carry your weapon on you as long as itΓÇÖs holstered. Any other weapons you bring in must be holstered/in a case with the slide locked back and empty. This is cool because you donΓÇÖt have to leave the building ΓÇ£nakedΓÇ¥ and then get loaded up outside at your car. This alone was worth the price of admission!

This is the best range I've been to my entire life. I came in with my girl today. Colton Woolsey and Justin spoke with us and immediately treated us like family. We signed for a membership and had a few questions about the range and the store and they were attentive to our questions and our concerns. We are very happy to have found Stoddards and look forward to being part of the family up here for the considerable future. I gladly will spend my money here and I think everyone is happy to do the same. I highly recommend visiting these folks!

I showed up at 6:45p requesting to rent a single lane, with my own firearms, my own brass ammo, and my own targets simply to zero a red dot for two of my pistols, a 15-20 min session at best. The two gentlemen on duty immediately told me that they shut down the lane down and refused my patronage, approximately an hour and fifteen mins prior to closing, which is at 8:00pm. IΓÇÖm not sure of what establishment you can show up an hour and fifteen mins before closing and be denied service. Both of the gentleman proceeded to tell me and my Douglas county accompanied SheriffΓÇÖs deputy, that itΓÇÖs customary for ALL gun ranges in the metro Atlanta area to shut down an hour and fifteen mins prior to actual closing time for cleanup! As a paying customer I shouldnΓÇÖt be penalized for an establishments inability to ΓÇ£clean upΓÇ¥ after hours. The level of disrespect towards customers is beyond abnormal. I will literally NEVER spend any more of my hard earned money with this establishment! 10/28/2023!!

I had a great conversation with one of the gentlemen behind the counter, and he was a great help. They were out of stock at this location, but he informed me that they would have it at the Atlanta (midtown) location. This store is really nice and I'll be back here before I leave town.
