Nice range, clean and well kept place never any problems. Set up very well for shooters with covered shooting areas with tables and seats to shoot from. Target boards to put targets on at every different yardage run. From 7yd for handguns to 200yds for rifles. Portable bathrooms in site. Family friendly.

Went on a Wednesday around 0900ish, nobody but another person and the RSO were there. The RSO was very friendly and helpful and must take some pride in this range, because it showed. Range was neat, orderly, and very well maintained. A far cry from my experiences at some of the northern Indiana DNR ranges. Will definitely come back here.

We was there on Sunday. 2/4/24. The gentleman was there that works for the DNR. He was very friendly and polite. You have a keeper.

It's a great place to shoot. They have everything from a 5-yard pistol range to a 200-yard rifle range. Hearing protection is a must-have, but if you forget, they usually have 3 or 4 ear plugs by the sign in boards. Remember to bring a stapler, tape, or some tacks to hold your target to the board.

Very nice outdoor range. There are concrete sidewalks and good covered shooting tables, so even if it's a bit wet, you can still get some trigger time in. There's some rules posted, though. You aren't allowed to have a handgun in a holster unless you're law enforcement, and there is a sign that reads "no rapid fire". I met an old man there who said that they have really improved it in recent years, so if you haven't been in a long time, maybe you should visit.

This place gets better every time we go. (4 times a year or so) They now have a 10 & 7 yard hand gun only lane. 3 to a lane. Make sure to check when open as some months they're closed on Mondays.

I made a trip today with a couple friends to shoot and there isnΓÇÖt anything on your webpage showing that itΓÇÖs closed. It would be nice to have something posted so people donΓÇÖt drive all the way there to find out itΓÇÖs not open and wonΓÇÖt be open until the end of August.

Had a blast here. The conservation officer is friendly, amicable, and polite. There are 4 ranges- 200 yd, 100 yd, 50 yd, and 25 yd respectively. They're adding a 10 and 7 yd range as well. Make sure you fill out a range card, located at the entrance, to ensure funding for the place; its a great range.

Just drove up there from Evansville and you were closed. You need to post your current hours of operation. It would be helpful. Thanks

Was in the process of loading my first rounds when the DNR person came over to me and said I was rapid firing. I hadnΓÇÖt even fired my rifle. I told him it was not me and he became angry and screamed I had to leave to range. Horrible experience.

Very good range, considering no charge. Also, everyone seems very friendly. The shooters as well as the dnr people. Wish they had a 10 or 15 d range for pistol. Overall, like it very much.

Nice covered benches, 3 shooters to a lane. 25, 50, 100, and 200 yard shooting lanes. DNR keeps it clean and regularly replaces the boards. They keep improving it, they just poured more concrete around the benches and down the lanes. Free to use, just fill out a card. Hours are weird, half the year they are different so check it out before you make the drive.

Nice little range. Can become very crowded so get there early. There are 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard ranges. They wonΓÇÖt allow you to set targets any closer then the burm so be prepared for that. Nice covered shooting area. Port-a-johns right outside the range fence.

Free place to shoot. Firing lines ranging between 25 to 200 maybe 300 yards I donΓÇÖt really ever get a seat up past the 100 yard bay. No rapid fire. Must fire from designated lanes. Usually pretty packed on the weekends and lots of brass vultures hovering around the area. Target backboards are usually pretty torn up looking like they may have caught some cannon fire from a pirate ship. 100 yard and up bays are usually full and full for extended periods. If you see long range rifles and chronographs then just settle for less. A lot of bad range etiquette so, mind your fellow shooters. Overall great place to shoot and never really had any issues other than just people being people and even though the higher yardage ranges are usually taken, they have pretty cool high end set ups and builds and usually donΓÇÖt mind people watching and asking questions.
