Wife and I went today (05/28/2024). We had an area all to ourselves. They have free targets and ear plugs. Alot of brass laying around. Wife cleaned our area. I will be back. The Earth is flat and stationary...

A summit county secret. So donΓÇÖt tell anyone. ; ). Great range. Nice length options, with separate pistol, rifle, and shotgun sections. Please keep this place going!

Rural range. Not always a volunteer on duty, but when they are, they are extremely helpful and friendly. Nice views. Nice new facilities sometime in the last few years. Donation only. Cool range.

It was cool, shot some guns. Decent range. The bad: kids picking up guns during ΓÇ£range coldΓÇ¥ Gentlemen discharged a round at a sideways angle out of firing line while trying to fix FTF. Almost got me!

This place used to be nice. Now it's horrible and worthless. Dirty and the range "officer" was incredibly rude. He was yelling at us before we even got set up to shoot. This place used to be family friendly, but with him yelling at us I would definitely not be comfortable bringing my family. I will not be back.

Was closed for "noise ordinance" and not told about it. Wasted 2 hours of my life driving out here

As of 9/24/22: Closed due to ΓÇ£Sound MitigationΓÇ¥ until November 1st probably as a result to ignorant locals who decided to buy a house close to a gun range.

Good shooting range with easy accessibility. Very friendly volunteers that are eager to answer any questions.

The safest and most positive experience IΓÇÖve ever had at a shooting range. Targets are well stocked, brooms and dustpans are on hand, and they have lots of equipment to borrow when a rangemaster/volunteer is available. Kudos to rangemaster Ken for being approachable, knowledgeable, and incredibly safe. He allowed me to use a nicer rest from the rangeΓÇÖs shed and personally gave me some different ammunition to try out. Great people and facilities.

A safe and great place to sqeeze off a few. The folks that go there are friendly and focused on gun safety. Worth the hr or so drive In my eyes. There are targets available if needed (free of charge) and also a restroom (modern outhouse). Side note: it is behind a landfill but thats not a problem at all....

Clean, nice area. Free earplugs and targets, but the volunteers are pushy for donations, understandably so, however the public range I tend to go to east of Fort Collins doesn't have volunteers, and is well taken care of by the community. Probably won't be back at this particular range.

So bummed. Drove up to this range and it looks incredible but itΓÇÖs closed for the fire ban. I was suspicious of that but didnΓÇÖt find anything online suggesting that it wouldnΓÇÖt be open right now. By far and away the nicest free gun range IΓÇÖve ever seen, but IΓÇÖm very disappointed I made the drive for nothing.
