I used to really like coming here but if you want to shoot pistol and the three pistol lanes they have are full you should expect to wait at least an hour before they let you into a lane. It’s a truly terrible system for anyone who wants to shoot pistol along because they have like 10 lanes for rifle that will sit open all day but I’ve waited upwards of an hour and half just to end up leaving because you can’t get onto a lane. It’s truly terrible…waste of time for anyone who doesn’t own a rifle or shotgun

Underrated! Friendly staff, friendly shooters, trap staff will keep score for you. But the biggest reason I like coming here is their high-quality 5-stand range, which is like a little club of its own with BBQ on Saturdays. It's also the only nearby place to do 5-stand (as far as I'm aware). Be wary of launcher 14, which comes from behind.

Best range IΓÇÖve been to in the Bay Area. Nice people and free targets. Nice area as well.

Excellent facility. Rifle and pistol, trap and five stand. The range separates center fire from rim fire so quiet if youΓÇÖre shooting small caliber. Professionally run.

Best public range in the bay! Always staffed by friendly and helpful staff. No FUDD egos or weirdness you can get at other ranges. Just be respectful of the rules and shoot your steel! Targets and steel is provided, just wish this range was open a few more days a week to the public. But when I can make it out, I definite keep SVRG in my sights.

This place blows any other range in the area out of the park. The rifle/pistol section is a lot of fun as well as trap shooting.

I am extremely happy with the employees at this site. Everyone seems humble and knowledgeable. From the initial interaction at the office to the end of the day, all of the employees were friendly and relaxed. Not to mention, they offer chilled water bottles. ItΓÇÖs a great place, and I will definitely be coming back soon.

I've been going here for trap shooting and practicing. People are very nice and friendly. Experienced shooters and instructors are willing to teach and give good advice. Price is reasonable.

honestly not bad. I've only done the pistol and rifle range, and while there are some downsides ( 100yrds max sucks, AP rounds banned, you have to violate the shotgun range's 180 to check in), for $25 you could do way worse. Many bay area gun guys are high on enthusiasm but low on skill and it's rare to see groups less than 3MOA, so its a pretty casual group. friendly, and targets are somehow free, which is great.

Excellent gun range! Took my 15 yo daughter to shoot pistols for her first time. Well built range with concrete separation between shooting stalls. Great covered shooting into outdoor downrange, with a mix of paper and metal targets (provided by the range). Staff are super friendly and absolutely professional. Being open to the public on some days, you never know who may show up. The range masters run a curteous but tight ship to ensure safety for all. Would absolutely go back! Great shooting venue for the Bay area!

Hi and hello to whoever is reading this I am fairly new to shooting ranges and was definitely new to this place. I am a native of Santa Clara county so I was not thinking any type of way when I went to Sunnyvale, Rod, and gun. It was my first time there I was unsure of the process. I received little to no help actually zero help. when I approached the building to sign up for new paperwork, there was no one in the office to speak to. There were two gentlemen sitting out On a bench with a paper and clipboard, Right by the office there is an android sign in tablet. I just took a Right by the office there is an android sign in tablet. I just took a guess that was what I needed to sign up for new registration.. I completed the registration form on the And The network system had an error meeting. I couldnΓÇÖt sign up that way. There were two gentlemen behind me. I hate to say it, but they were of white and Asian descent. I am a person of color and the way that the gentleman with the cowboy boots and the hat looked me up and down, as I was not there and not in front of those two did not even ask if I needed help then proceeded to take the gentleman into the building and sign them up so discussed that I just left this is b.s I simply came to use your site for what it was meant for and I was turned away I believe for my color or was not helped for my color. The gentleman also had a very messed up grill as in his teeth were very yellow and black, as if he had received no dentistry in his life I only say this to point out the individual that gave me the dirty look, good luck I wouldnΓÇÖt spend a dime here

Easy to get to, nestled in the Los Altos hills by Cupertino. Large expansive parking lot which can't be said about some other ranges in the Bay. By far the cleanest restrooms, too. $25 gets you a whole day with unlimited paper targets, and wardens will let you move between pistol and rifle ranges if possible. Crew is definitely friendlier than most other places, often with good humor and stories to be told. It can get very packed the last 3 hours that they are open on Saturdays, so try to come early. Get in line for opening if you and a few buddies intend to hog a few lanes.
