Q: I'm looking for some cash for pawning a firearm, what are the terms? for example how long would i have from day of pawn to retrieve the item before its made available to be sold?
A: Hi Jim. The pawns/loans are for 30 days. On the due date you have two options: 1. Pay the amount we loaned you plus interest to get the item out or 2. Pay just the interest to get another 30 days. You can leave the item in pawn as long as you need - all that is required is an interest payment in full every 30 days. Since you are inquiring about a firearm something to note is a background check is required to get the item back. The background check has no set time, once we submit it to the state police system itΓÇÖs in their hands. Lastly all pawn payoffs are cash only. Q: Do u take sterling silver flatware?
A: Yes!! As long as it is not silver plated! Bring it in so we can weight it all up and give you the best price!!

Q: How much is membership
A: $200 for 1 year or $100 with any firearms purchase. Your membership will allow you and a guest to get entry into our range anytime during our business hours. Additionally, you will have access to all Superior Pawn ranges at no charge. Members also get discounts on FFL transfers and no charge gun rental at our Little Creek Rd location.

Q: Is loanΓÇÖs available? Up to how much?
A: We can loan up to $50k. All loans are based on the collateral that you bring in. For instance if you need to borrow $200, you could bring in a quality firearm or a nice gold chain or bracelet. Perhaps, you need $2000, a Rolex watch or heavy gold or a large diamond would secure that amount.

Q: Do background checks cost anything? Also, what's the quickest a background check can come back?
A: Yes there is a fee for the background check, and we only do the check after you purchase a firearm. Unfortunately there is no set time on the background checks, it can take 30 mins, a few hours, or a few days. Once we. submit its in the hands of the state police.

I truly experienced some of the best customer service ever in Superior Pawn on Little Creek. 1st time going there I gave the range a shot and noticed I needed help urgently .. I conversed with one of the younger clerks with the muscles .. he was very humble .. he was very helpful, informative, and cool .. I also had a very detailed and long conversation with Mr. Curtis as well ( a few of them ) and he suggested I come out to one of ccw classes . I had a hard time getting comfortable with my own firearm and he was very helpful with teaching me how to properly hold , shoot , and handle a firearm responsibly .. I really appreciate them and this store for being good clerks and respectfully resourceful with helping and interacting with customers , new or returning . I suggest you give it a try , you won’t be let down . 😊

I went in for some help on buying my first gun. They had a lot of guns to look at and also had a section for military and law enforcement. What made it perfect was that they also had guns you can test shoot to help you make sure youre getting the right gun for you. I will definitely be going back

Went to the shooting range for the first time today with my husband and Curtis the clerk/instructor was so nice and great explaining everything he even came back to help me position my hands and myself correctly.. I felt comfortable holding the gun and firing for my first time thanks to him🙂

I had an excellent experience taking the concealed weapons course at Superior Pawn with instructor Curtis. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly throughout the entire process. Curtis took the time to explain everything thoroughly and continuously reiterated key points to ensure we understood. During target practice, he provided great guidance, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this course and Curtis as an instructor for anyone looking to complete their concealed carry training.

Curtis goes above and beyond to make sure that you are well-trained, comfortable and confident when handling and firing your gun. He is a great instructor and really cares. If you're looking to get your CHP definitely go with these guys.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Curtis during my concealed carry training class. He was such an awesome instructor, very knowledgeable and aware of safety protocols. During the course Mr.Curtis was also balancing his day to day work routine(range officer I believe is what itΓÇÖs called) and a very sketch, young man came in and wanted to rent a gun and use the range. He was very antsy, and we all were getting a very unwelcoming demeanor, he was tense, and seemed to be very nervous. He said that he had shot there before with friends, but had no profile on record. It raised CurtisΓÇÖs antennas and he politely declined service (thank god) he put the well being of not only himself and staff, I and other customers but also the young manΓÇÖs safety first which I greatly appreciated. He gave my fellow classmate and I his undivided attention, corrected us when needed & overall went above and beyond throughout our entire training session. I look forward to seeing him again soon as I get more familiar with gun safety. Such an amazing employee!
