Just took the womenΓÇÖs basic handgun class with Cindy. She was awesome and teaches from the womenΓÇÖs perspective. IΓÇÖve taken this class 3 other times throughout the years, this was the first time I had a woman instructor. Such a game changer, she showed me how to operate my firearm in the most woman specific way. Every time I trained with male instructors they didnΓÇÖt understand where my limitations were, Cindy showed me tips and tricks from a womanΓÇÖs perspective which was super helpful! SheΓÇÖs also very engaging and holds your attention. I would definitely recommend this class with Cindy she was amazing!

This place is only good for members. Opens at 12:00 Noon and I'm in lone outside at 11:30AM waiting. I'm the first one in the door and when I go to check in some young guy ask me, "are you a member" and I say no. He tells me I have to wait for all of the members to check in first. I stand in line like an idiot for 15 minutes and he calls me forward. I'm now told there are no available lanes and I have to wait 1-1.5 hours. This has happened to me several times in the past and when I complained to Dan the owner he replied "you should become a member". I also noticed as they reached the end of the line of members they were being told they could only have the lane for 30 minutes and not the hour they requested. Not a place or system I want to be a part of and would recommend not to go to this place unless you want to be committed to a 12 month membership. I will not be back again, I had this same problem several years ago and never came back and I guess I just enjoy the aggravation and figured I would give it a try again. This is what happens when you are the only game in town...

These guys are great when you dont need anything, but who isnt? I put a deposit on an ordered shotgun, and when I decided not to take it, I was met with nothing but lies and attempts to keep my deposit. I'm a salesman myself and we constantly give deposits back when a deal doesn't go through. They claimed that there was a 25% restocking fee which was on the 'contract' that I signed... but I signed a blank piece of paper that was filled out afterwords. I called before the gun came in to cancel, but was told to wait until it came in and think about it, then when it came in, they said they can only cancel an order before it arrives, so it was too late. This went on for 2 weeks, and each time I could only talk to an hourly sales employee... not once did the manager speak to me even when I requested it, he just told he sales guy to come out and say 'no if ands or buts' and in their mind, that was that. Also, claiming that it would be 'tough to sell a hunting shotgun' 2 weeks before hunting season starts kind of shows how clueless these guys are. It was gone the next time I went... and a hunting display was set up... shocker

As a new gun owner with no experience in firearms, the staff at Tactical training center has been so incredibly helpful. From finding the perfect firearm to learning to shoot it safely, they walked me through every step of the way. A HUGE shout out to Cindy, a one on one lesson with her was exactly what I needed to truly get comfortable with my gun. She went over every part of the gun with me, showing me how to dismantle it, clean it, properly hold it, use the sights and eventually shoot it. She was so knowledgeable and full of great tips for better accuracy. If you're a newbie like me, I HIGHLY recommend a lesson with her to improve your skills. She gives each lesson her all, you won't be disappointed.

I took a shotgun training class with Cindy and she is amazing! Her knowledge of shotguns and handguns is extensive. She took the time to carefully explain gun safety, shooting techniques and how to properly clean a gun. She also taught practical safety, suggesting I carry the shotgun at home to become mindful of handling in tight spaces…in case of an intruder. We then went to the range and, with her guidance, shot some rounds and had some fun. Cindy was patient, thorough and made certain I felt confident in my skills. She made the experience enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend her as an instructor.

I am new to shooting. I'm also working on getting my CCW permit. I was able to purchase my first hand gun here. I purchased an HK VP9SK. They made the process easy. The staff is excellent in helping me achieve my goal. They go out of their way to help you. They make going to the range fun, and it has a family feel. Shout out to Rick, who gave me my initial training. And to Glenn and Brian for being exceptional teachers. Brian also went out of his way to help me calibrate my optics. If you are thinking about learning how to shoot, and learning all of the important rules that comes with it, then Tactical Training Center is the place to be.

Awesome place. Went there for the 1st time today. Everyone was friendly. I had a blast renting 3 hand guns. The process was so smooth and efficient. So, I spent more time in the port shooting, than waiting around. Overall, I had a great experience. I will definitely becoming again and referring TTC to my friends!

Truly outstanding facility, great staff, and expert instruction. Since NJ has been court-ordered to now approve Concealed Carry Permits (CCP), I've been taking the prerequisite classes to apply for my CCP. I am certainly impressed, and could not be happier with my experience there.

This review is on my experience with TTC FFL 'transfer' services - THEY HAVE BEEN GREAT! Professional, helpful, and friendly staff; great follow-up and follow-through; reasonable transfer fee (even less with a membership like their 2A level). TTC can order firearms for you, but if one is looking for something no longer made, or is in very high demand and short supply, sometimes one has to look elsewhere (like the online gun sites) and then get it shipped to a NJ FFL like TTC. Having used TTC for several FFL transfers I can attest that one can rest easy knowing all is taken care of efficiently and professionally.

Nothing but a great experiences anytime IΓÇÖve been to Tactical Training Center. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions or concerns I may have. Place is nice and clean with a great range, and a good selection of rentals. Definitely recommend!

I ordered a Sigg pistol three weeks ago. I paid for it in full and also bought a membership. They told me it would take a week to come in. When I called to follow up after a week went by, they bluntly told me that theyΓÇÖll call me when it comes in. I called again a week later and asked if my gun came in yet, stating that itΓÇÖs been two weeks and that I thought it was only going to take a week. They said they would check and call me back. I never got a call back. Now, three weeks has gone by. I called yesterday and said I donΓÇÖt know whatΓÇÖs going on but I really need to know as I paid for this in full. They put me on hold and checked around for quite a while. I was told that the manager would call me, tomorrow morning, that he works in the mornings. The woman I spoke to assured me I would definitely get a call from the manager in the morning. She said she texted him and was certain he would be calling me in the morning. I never got that call this morning and itΓÇÖs now after 4 oΓÇÖclock. With this very low level of service, I will insist on a refund for both my gun and my membership. I am very disappointed, and do not want to do business with TTC any longer! ________________________________ Updating this review: After posting the above, they called and promptly refunded my money without giving me a hard time. They understood my frustration and offered me incentives to return but I just cannot bring myself to do that. I appreciated their effort to make it right so I added one more star.

I had a 1 on 1 session with Rick that, in retrospect, should be mandatory for anyone planning to legally own/use a firearm at a range. 10 minutes was all it took to address my issue and another 5 minutes to find the fix. I was a treated with respect regardless of asking every question imaginable and left with a far greater understanding of my firearm, which only made me feel safer and more confident. I will be coming back for many years to come.

Basically the place you go when there is no other place to go. It is essentially a living room and 8 or so lanes, and a few gun cases with an assortment of unwanted firearms to browse. Folks there are pretty friendly and the place is clean. But have to add that I contacted them about a CCW course and it took 2 weeks to get a response and then never responded to me again with my follow-up questions. So, I guess if you just want to sight your pistol in, or just stand there and use some ammo up, this is your place. But do a hammer pair and they'll show you the door. Odd that they have "Tactical" in their name. Update #1: I just wanted to add that the Owner added a response and did not address the fact that I was never responded to for a training request. I find that very telling of their professionalism.

WasnΓÇÖt allowed to shoot there because IΓÇÖm out of state even though I have a Pennsylvania carry permit was told that I need to have another person with me ΓÇ£ in case i shot my selfΓÇ¥ but in New Jersey resident with a gun license can shoot there by themselves with no problem. For my out of stators just go ahead and find another shooting range you only have one chance to make a good impression.

I called 4 times They wouldnΓÇÖt pickup the phone so I drive to the store IΓÇÖm only 10 minutes away and the employees are just standing around not doing anything how do you run a business like this extremely poor customer service

This review is long overdue. I am in my mid 60s and started shooting several months ago for the very first time. It was something at the top of my list at retirement. I did a lot of research into finding a range and instructional center that had a reputation for providing comprehensive instruction that I felt confident and safe in. The Tactical Training Center has been nothing short of exceptional. They take instruction and safety protocols to a high-level of professionalism and care. I have had several instructors: Brian, Tom, and Mike who have all taken the time to key in on know my needs and set goals for my progress. Four months into the process and I look forward to being an active participant at TTC.

This place is great. Reasonably priced for what you get in comparison to anywhere else in Jersey. But the service is top notch. Friendly helpful staff that is always willing to help you out and accommodate any request they can. I have kept these guys here late working through a problem with one of my guns and although I am sure they wanted to leave they helped me work through it and gave me the time I needed. This is a place for a first time shooter but not an amateur if you get what I am saying. It is laid back and professional here. This is not the place to come and goof off. But if you are an avid shooter and would like to avoid standing next to what you will typically get at one of the bigger name places that cater to walk ins then this is your place.

My family and I went on 5/12/23 to celebrate my birthday and we had the best time! From the young man who greeted us to our instructors Brian and Peter, both were super awesome! They were super knowledgeable and helpful ! Michelle was super nice when we checked out. Highly recommend this to any beginner who wants to learn the proper way to shoot

One of the friendliest best shooting ranges. Everyone was super helpful from signing in, purchasing ammo etc. This was the first time my wife was at a range and shot a gun. Kim, the person working inside was so helpful and made the shooting experience awesome. We will definitely return to this friendly awesome place.

Update 15-April-2023: My wife and I will soon be leaving NJ in our move to Wyoming in a few weeks. Our time at TTC has been great! I extend my appreciation and thank you to everyone there for guiding us towards being safe and competent. Original comments: Excellent customer service and guidance regardless of skill level. Every single person is supportive of us as beginners, giving tips and guidance without judgment. We feel respected and appreciated there, even when we make newbie goofs. We are glad to be working with this staff. Thanks guys and gals! A+!!! I don't know too many other shops etc, but the pricing is better at TTC than other places we've done business with. Lance was and is fantastic with teaching us essential gun handling and safety skills, and Kim gave me tips to improve my accuracy. The RSOs are always helpful with questions both big and small.

I have taken a few different training classes at different ranges, but by far TTC has giving me the most educational and training just over 2 days. Tom & Brian are great informative instructors. The best thing I loved about the training besides the shooting was the classroom education. 70% Dry 🔥 30% live 🔥

I went here for the first time last weekend with some of my friends and was impressed with the store the second we walked in the door. Employees were helpful and the owner Dan was the best help of all. He and his staff listen to all your concerns and let you get a good feel for all firearms in the store with no questions. We told him we will return to try out the range next week. Fast forward to the range day and the wavier is your standard firearm range waiver you see at countless other locations. We got a booth which was actually bigger than other places I been to in NJ. The system is very easy to send and recall targets as well. Best part of it all is that the range is quiet even with other shooters present inside. I would strongly recommend this fantastic establishment to anyone who owns firearms or looking to get into firearms. Keep up the great work guys because you will be having us return shortly. Great facility and an overall fantastic experience for novice and expert shooters! Everyone is welcoming and happy to help with your needs! 1 or my friends never held a firearm before and walked out of there excited for the next time. RSOs are gentlemen and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Shot at this range twice with my husband. Lady at the front desk was pretty rude and didnΓÇÖt seem too sure about the info she was giving us. She told us we couldnΓÇÖt swap out firearms which weΓÇÖve done before, including that day. Everyone one else that day was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The RSOs were great as well. Called back about a week later looking for some info about the range memberships as I was looking to shoot here regularly. The same lady was incredibly rude this time. When I asked a couple questions she rudely told me to read whatΓÇÖs on the website , told me she was busy , and hung up on me. I was asking her questions that werenΓÇÖt on the website (hence the phone call) and she clearly didnΓÇÖt know the answers. Busy or not , treat every customer with respect. Dont blatantly hang up on people because youΓÇÖre not able to communicate properly. My first experience was still a pleasant one besides this lady, hopefully the second one is better.

Im so pleased with TTC .. real knowledge and profesional training taught by some of best instructors ive meet. These guys really love what they do and it shows in their teaching. I've been trained by many different instructors, at several different ranges, to be disappointed.... I was so surprised when I started training here. I finally found great instructors with quality training.. not the same old boring drills from internet or the know it alls that dont know ####...Tom and Scott actually know how to teach... this place is legit. I've referred 3 friends from another range and they ate just as happy . Now they are joining TTC. Im very thankful for the opportunity to learn from them.. Big thanks to everyone at TTC

I attended the RPO qualifications in September. The range store area and the staff were excellent to work with. Very clean neat and a professional atmosphere. Highly recommended

The facility is terrific and the staff are even better! We have been to TTC for the last two years after Christmas for laser tag and the gun range and had a great time. I highly recommend this for everyone!
