Few weeks ago I took one on one private pistol course with Steve for 4 hours in Homestead Florida. Steve very very professional trainer even with all my old experience from the army on many different guns i really learn how much I need to learn from using a pistol on a shooting range and practice because it’s not so easy like it looks like… Everyone who look to purchase a weapon from my opinion have to get training and I really refer you to get class with Steve!!you will get all the information you need from Steve and if you choose to get some grip and practice so you will have it from the best guy in the area for sure!

Stephen is an outstanding instructor. Before meeting Stephen, I had no firearms experience and no formal training. I was looking for an instructor who was not only skilled but also passionate about teaching, and I found exactly that. From our first phone call, I knew we would get along. Stephen is approachable, accommodating, and most importantly, he takes his work seriously without the arrogance you might find in other places. Stephen tailored my lessons to meet my needs and took the time to build my confidence. He was patient when I struggled with certain aspects, always reinforcing the fundamentals until I got them right. His teaching style is calm and encouraging, showing a true love for what he does. His skill on the range is also incredible to watch. A key element is watching him to visualise too rather than just being told what to do, We covered everything from gun safety to basic handling, and as the lessons progressed, we dove into personal defence and real-world tactical movements. StephenΓÇÖs emphasis on safety and making sure I understood the importance of being aware and controlled when handling firearms really stuck with me. By the end of the lessons, I felt confident in my fundamentals, from grip and stance to trigger control, and even more advanced techniques like tactical movement. IΓÇÖm continuing to practice everything Stephen taught me and canΓÇÖt wait for my next lesson with him. Not only did I gain practical life skills, but I also developed a deeper understanding of firearms in a safe, responsible manner. Just finished an amazing experience with Stephen learning how to handle and fire a pistol effectively. I was a real beginner and have learnt so much today it’s been brilliant, Stephen’s approach with me and patience made it totally personal and has given me great confidence in my foundation level of handing firearms. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their skills with the best guy in the business. I was also on vacation so don’t feel you need to live here to do this. Stephen gives individualized and tailored firearms instruction. He shows you exactly what you are doing wrong so that you can correct it. I enjoyed my handgun fundamentals and car tactics class.

My husband recently had the privilege of attending a 2 day private tactical defense weapons training session that covered both AR-15 and our personal handgun, and it was quite an experience. Steve was incredibly knowledgeable, and took me from complete beginner (never shot) to hitting targets at 50 yards with a pistol and far, far longer with a rifle within 3 days. Quite incredible. If you want the best, Tactical U is your choice.

Over the past 2 years I have trained with several firearms instructors in different countries on 3 continents. Yet none of them was as thorough as Stephen, with whom I had the pleasure to train this week. Stephen not only told us how to handle firearms safely. But also explained why and the different types of possible scenarios For example, what knowledge one can obtain from observing a gun without actually touching it. Car dynamics Obstacles, cover, etc. I learned so much more than I usually do. I strongly recommended Stephen for everybody who takes their training seriously. I can't wait to take another course from him.

This week I had the opportunity to train with Stephen. It was truly an amazing experience getting the chance to train with someone of Stephen's credentials. He is very focused on safety which is critical anytime you train with Firearms. Stephen was an excellent teacher and took his time explaining the fundamentals as well as the long term goals for the training. At times it was intimidating considering how much there is to learn. Stephen was very patient and is a great motivator. I was truly surprised with all we accomplished in just a few hours together. I highly recommend Stephen for your Firearms training.

I've trained with several different outfits and Steve is by far the best firearms instructor I've ever had. Some of the group courses I took were written by him! The first class was undoing so many mistakes I had learned from others. Be prepared because he doesn't pull any punches. I spent 3 days of serious training with Stephen. This is not a point an shoot experience. This is hardcore/up close tactical handgun training. I hope I never need to use it, but with Stephen's experience and training I now feel confident that I am ready and prepared to protect myself and my family should the need ever arise. I would recommend this course for anyone who is serious about learning how to properly use a handgun in a real world situation.

Steve is a great teacher. I came in knowing almost nothing about guns. We worked together for 4 hours and I learned so much about how the gun works, how to handle it safely, and how to draw and shoot. Steve's communication is clear and direct. I would highly recommend him and Tactical U.

I had the pleasure of taking a private handgun course with Steve. Its really incredible how much progress you can make in 4 hours. My shooting improved dramatically. Coming in, I was not aware of all the intricacies that come with shooting. So many little details you have to master to be able to be a proficient shooter. Steve was an amazing instructor. He was constantly teaching and giving relatable analogies to explain details that made it easy for me to understand. Being able to relate training to one's individual experiences is crucial and not many people have this gift. Overall, the class was 110% worth it and anyone that wants to take shooting seriously (really anyone that owns a gun should take it) should hit up Steve. I can't wait to keep practicing what I learned and come back for some of his other trainings! Thank you Steve!!!

Stephen is a great instructor. Took basic handling fundamentals (stance, grip, sites, draw) and explained the mechanics/reasoning brilliantly. Results immediately... Would recommend for beginner/intermediate/advance owner.

It looks like bad reviews are being blocked - I'm going to have our lawyers look into this as it's a direct violation of the CRFA. Will try again. This company refused to serve my group once we told them we are going over to help in Ukraine. It looks like owner also owns "KGB" ammo, which kind of says it all. Draw your own conclusions.

Steve at Tactical U provides outstanding no non-sense training. He dives into evey detail with real life scenario context from safety, to basic handling to situational awareness and more. Recommend highly whether you're just starting or are an experienced shooter.

I opted to take a private lesson with Stephen over a group class hoping to get the most out of it. He was a total professional and I'm glad I made that choice. The class was very information dense and he made certain that by the end of the lesson I had an understanding of everything he taught from concepts to dry drills to firing in the range. The training was very comprehensive but taught at a comfortable pace. We covered a lot of ground in one session. It was a well spent time, and IΓÇÖm looking forward to the next class. Stephen is a great source of knowledge. You will learn a lot! And youΓÇÖll shoot better as a result.

Awesome experience, I did the beginner private handgun course with Steve and I learned an enormous amount in a 4hrs class. If youΓÇÖre interested in acquiring real lessons about manipulating a firearm, Steve is the man!

I recommend this training 10 times over, with a rating of a 10/10. As a complete amateur, (someone who never even held a firearm) to someone who has a understanding of the fundamentals now. I was amazed by how disciplined Steve was and how driven he was to have me complete each step for my safety and understanding. Truly there is no other training that takes you to such a high level when getting you prepared to control, respect, and discharge a firearm. This course will get you to where you need to be in order to have a strong base of knowledge, along with there being follow up instructions included. Thank you again for the amazing experience, and I will be planning to book my second lesson in the near future!

Hi, Need to say that coach Steve Cohen is 5 Stars trainer. For a new person like myself that just got started within precision shooting, being coached by him is a luxury. All opinions and advices he made me were honest and to the point, pending of the progress I was making, and correcting my mistakes one at a time, this allow me to make a fast progress. To hits multiple times to a 500 yards away target, at the end of the training was a surprise, knowing that my equipment wasn't the best. He is very organized and oriented to make you be a better shooter, making priorities with the goal to helping where is most need. Thank you Steve, really appreciate all your help and knowledge shared with me.
