I visited talon range today mainly because of their ads on the radio. I was greatly disapponted. Their pricing was very high. Plus we had to pay for everything thing. The range was muddy and the rifle range was a disappointment. In Thomasville I pay way less . Get dry ground. Ear plugs and glasses are free. Shooting stand are provided and we get digital re out on each shot. I spent 170 for me and my two sons. The range is woefully lacking in comparison to the cost. Hope talon can provide more for the money.

My husband and I recently visited Talon Range in Midway, FL. We were having a little trouble with a pistol. The range staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They aren't just trying to sell something, but they really want you to be comfortable with what you have and able to defend yourself if necessary. They know what they are talking about, and it shows. They aren't just there to make a buck. Michael was especially helpful. He went above and beyond what was necessary. We would both recommend Talon Range to anyone. We will be going back.

Stopped by to check it out. New facility expanding with about 40 acres. Clean and well organized shop/check-in area. Comfortable safety regulations in place. Map on the wall to see different range options, even archery. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will be back to try it out and maybe become a member.

I came to Talon never having fired a gun. Fast forward 3 instructional classes later (& 2 private lessons), IΓÇÖve earned my concealed carry permit and am now proud owner of both pistols & rifles (even custom built). The entire staff is skilled top notch, and so helpful. Spacious, private outdoor shooting bays, makes it a great experience. Hands down the Best Range and retail outfitter around

The gun range itself is really spacious. The Basic 1 gun class was great. Instructors seemed passionate and we got to try out a situation simulator video game thing which was pretty interesting. And they brought out a bunch of different guns to try out at the end. Really fun experience!

This is the best range anywhere near Tallahassee. It's divided up into multiple small ranges with varying lengths and you get your own. Highly recommend getting the membership if you shoot often and with friends.

I took the Basic 1/CCW Class. Highly recommend this class to anyone who is planning on carrying or want home protection. Instructors are very informative and extremely helpful. The price for class is indeed reasonable. I really enjoyed the class and atmosphere.

Feels like a small blessing to have a quality range like Talon nearby. The staff at the pro shop are awesome and helped me land on a new firearm that has been a perfect fit. The privacy of having your own bay is great and lets you focus on what you're doing without any nearby distractions. They do have cameras in all bays and monitors in both stores to ensure no one is run wild of course.

No matter what time you go, you will NOT get a 50 yard range. There is always a waiting list, and still they only have 2 50 yard ranges. I’ve been going every weekend for a month at 8AM and still can not get on a 50. I’ve been a member since they first opened their doors, and am now done with this place. Range is always covered in water/mud, steel targets are always falling apart, no steel on the 100, rude employees/racist remarks, only 2 50 yard ranges, etc. you would think if there is always a waiting list for 50 yard ranges that they would split the 2 into 4, or put more 50s in somewhere else, but here we are in 2024 with 2 50 yard ranges and daily waiting lists…

Updated 4/9: Went in to get a custom holster made and was told it may be 3 weeks until I was next in line because of the high demand. I said that is reasonable and put my deposit down to get in line. Got the call to drop off my firearm for the molding and was told it should be ready in 2 days. 2 days later I got the call to pick up my firearm and holster. The quality and the finished product looked perfect You can tell he takes pride in his work and will make sure you leave happy. I recommend trying Jesse out and getting a custom holster made. THANKS AGAIN JESSE for your time and I am extremely satisfied with what you have made.

Awesome place, awesome people. Best range I've ever been to. The employees are always happy and friendly, and extremely laid back. I would say the price is expensive since it's around $35 per person for a bay, but it's an all day price, and I don't mind it. The bays are pretty private, you can just back your car in and lay everything out on the wooden table. The gun store they have up the road is just as great too.

#1 in safety #1 in helpfulness Well lit Video cameras on all bays Private bay and private brim Great Glock selection and accessories EVAN (rhymes with heaven) is exceptional. He is helpful and eager to assist. His energy is super positive. As a female I wanted a range where I didnΓÇÖt feel ΓÇ£aloneΓÇ¥ but I knew the shooters are vetted. All shooters must register to fire a weapon at Talon. There will be no ΓÇ£drive byΓÇ¥ practice. Membership is definitely in the budget. I could go on and on but I highly recommend you go out and see for yourself.

I looked at all the ranges in the area and I am very happy that I choose Talon. The people there know their stuff. So friendly and helpful. Great shooting areas and lots of great rentals. They offer class for first time shooter or something to improve your skills. Well this was my two cents. I'm off to the range. Happy shooting.

Been twice, had a wonderful experience both times. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, even when the pro shop is packed and an event is going on. They make you feel like youΓÇÖre the only person there. Rented a rifle (AR-15 w/ red dot and AR-15 w/ Sig Sauer 1x22 scope) and two handguns (Glock 22 Gen 4, M&P 380 Bodyguard, .38 special, and a S&W 9mm) both times. Purchased all ammo and targets at the pro shop. Loved it so much the second time, I became a member! CanΓÇÖt wait till next time.

Zach McMillan, the man behind the counter today, was very courteous. Arriving to shoot some reloads I made last week, I realized I had misplaced my cell phone. I asked if I could use the office phone to call my wife to see if it was still in the house somewhere. If not, perhaps it's on I-10 somewhere. Zach offered his cell phone to allow me to contact my wife. She didn't answer so I left a voice mail. About 45 minutes into my practice, Zach arrives at my range station to inform me not to worry. My wife returned the call (on his phone) and said she had found the phone. Zach graciously came to my shooting station to inform me. That is terrific customer service and I'm very grateful to Zach. It put my mind at ease to know the phone wasn't lost, just forgotten. Zach is an outstanding young man, eager to please. Thank you!!

I've been to many ranges outdoor/indoor and used to belong to an expensive conservation club and this is by far the most well laid out range I've ever been to. I love the fact that every shooter/group gets their own lane. There's nothing more annoying than getting hit with 7.62 brass from the guy to your left throwing lead down range rapid fire and now he can do that without inconveniencing anyone else with hot brass or constant concussive blasts. Will definitely be coming back.

Friendly staff, excelent outdoor facility. I used lane 15 pistol range with steel targets, Awesome setup. I will return when I am back in town!
