The guy working there when I went was super nice and was helping everyone out. The range itself is also nice and it's relatively cheap.

My experience is It’s a nice range I’m happy shooting here, the RSO’s are not intrusive but are eager to help or answer any questions and the prices are good. It’s a decent size range (20 lanes) the folks there are flexible and friendly. I’m fortunate to be able to shoot when they’re not busy, be considerate of others on the range and those waiting to shoot after you. Pluses = free paper & steel targets, outhouse 👍🏼 Cons = no water, sodas or snacks to buy

Tango Down Range was awesome. Took my son shooting for the first time so I can teach him. Everyone was great, and kept asking if my son was having fun. Gavin was really great explaining all the rules and very easy to talk to. I will be definitely coming back to enjoy shooting with my son. I would give you more than 5 stars.

I went to the range for the first time about three days ago. Even though this range is about an hour away from me, I think this is going to be my place of choice to train. The RSOs were so friendly and none of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder like a lot of other ranges IΓÇÖve been too. Everyone was definitely prioritizing safety above all else, and the range was clean, functional, affordable, and family friendly. I even had an RSO lend me some gear to help me sight in my optic, and could even hear them cheering on a first time shooter they took their first shots. Not once did I observe anyone with unsafe practices, and I would recommend this range to anyone.

Very cool place to shoot. They have steel targets set up at various distances so you get the satisfying "ding" when you hit them.

So I really liked this range, handgun side was awesome, enjoyed shooting the metal targets. I do wish the rifle side had more metal targets, since you can't really tell if you hit paper targets at 200 yards. So, why the one star? There was a real jerk RSO running the place, he was a bigger guy with a beard. When my buddy and I went over to the rifle side he really wouldn't leave us alone (even though we were shooting perfectly safe). He started tell us we were going to hit wildlife, which is ridiculous because any wildlife are going to be scared off at the first shot - plus I'm not aiming at wildlife. Additionally, he said we were going to damage the wood holding up the targets. Again, we weren't aiming at the wood but if it gets damaged that's just a hazard of running a range (go to Home Depot and buy more). Then he proceeded to trash my buddy's rifle, telling him he shouldn't have a foregrip and flashlight (stuff that has nothing to do with safety). Honestly the entire exchange ruined my entire experience.

I went to shoot here on Saturday, called the day before to confirm they would be open and their hours, they confirmed they would be open from 9-5, I showed up at 8:45am the gate was locked, a regular at the range was there as well and said that it's pretty usual for them to be running late, said they typically don't open until around 9:30, seemed odd but I waited until 9:30, still no one showed so I called the number on Google and the gentleman I spoke to seemed surprised that no one was there he then assured me someone would be there in 15-20 minutes. I waited until 10:10am at that point there was still no one there to open, this to me is wildly unacceptable but maybe I just expect too much. EDIT: To answer the questions below I called the number for the range and the guy I spoke to had no idea that no one was there to open up the range, he said he would call back which he did on a number ending in 4522 he told me someone would be there in 15-20 minutes when no one had showed up by 10:10am I left. And to reiterate a point from above again a range regular said that this was a common occurrence.

I had a very positive experience my first time at Tango Down Range. The RO was very personable and helpful. Super nice guy who was willing to lend advice and actually help me sight in my new 556 lightning fast. He had a lot of knowledge and was very patient with me and even went as far to help explain how to break down and clean my new rifle. They allowed us to have fun as long as we were safe and had a mix of paper targets and steel targets to keep it lively. I really appreciate that they don't force you to purchase a membership on top of your hourly rate and I look forward to spending a lot of time there this year.

Lots of steel targets for handguns, paper targets provided for rifles, and the RSO keeps things safe without keeping you from having a good time. Double taps, mag dump, and holster draws are ok.

Took me awhile to find a good range near me open to the public. This place is that, steal targets to have fun shooting at with the AR. A nice handgun side, and 100 yard side to get the bolt action sighted in at. Will definitely be going back, just have to make sure to bring more ammo. Also the RSO Will was a good guy, giving tips out to shooters in a respectable way. Only wish it was little cheaper, was $20 for a hour. But being able to mag dump I can deal with that.

This place is an absolute BLAST to shoot at. The steel targets are just so fun to shoot and there are plenty set up on both pistol and rifle sides. The RSOs are always knowledgeable and friendly and the place is decently priced at $20/hr. Definitely my favorite range.

Yesterday, 10/19/23, was my first visit and I will be back for sure. Easily the most fun I've had at a shooting range in 40+ years of shooting (going back to childhood). Mario was the RSO and he was awesome. I learned so much from him in a short amount of time. He even helped me zero in 2 long guns and had me plinking steel at 100 yards with a 22 (red dot) and 556 (scope). Hoping I can link up with Mario again and get a private lesson for my wife to get her comfortable with her new handgun.

This place is an oasis for shooters Friendly RSO's who know how to run a range safely and keep it fun. Well worth coming back to renew my membership especially now that ammo costs aren't as insane!

Been a few times. The RSOs are helpful but laid back. This is sometimes not the case at a lot of ranges. I live about an hour away and pass a few ranges on my way in but it's always worth the trip.

I went to Tango Down for the first time yesterday. I was greeted by Will, he went over everything I would want to know about the range and got me set up. The range was clean, very usable, very reasonably priced. A great place to shoot, with a friendly and reasonable staff....it's all about exercising our rights and having a good time doing it.

Easily my favorite range in the region! Extremely professional, helpful, and safe. I took my 86 year old father there and he had a blast! They even gave us special parking so he didn't have to walk. Seriously, if you're looking for a place to shoot AND feel welcome, then this is your place!

Big thank you to Gloria and the crew. My family had a great and safe day at the range. Lots of steel targets, being interactive and getting instant feedback is crucial for training. Truly a gem and worth the drive spending a day on Tango Range. Keep up the good work.

I didn't go to this range for years because I heard it was only metal targets and I wanted to see my grouping, but they have paper ones too (and provided a target for no additional cost instead of charging $4 for a sheet of paper). RSO on 4/12/23 was great. I have been to ranges where the RSOs were on a power trip and ready to yell at/embarrass people for the smallest perceived infraction, but he was calm and kind.

Small. Seems like a nice place but for the price it's quite overcrowded and limited. Better then an indoor range.

A hidden gem. Seriously, it is a place for the entire family. The pistol side is set up with steel targets. There are a few spots for traditional paper. And the rifle side for our bigger toys. The RSO is very reasonable and keeps safety as a priority. I observed him working and interacting with the shooters. He was courteous and helpful. He gave small pointers and was not condescending. A rarity in the gun community... I will be a regular here.

Went to Tango Down Range for the the first time today. I haven't been shooting for awhile and it was the first time for my wife. We met Will that was working there and he was very friendly explained the setup of the gun range and gave us some basic pointers for stance to fire weapon and it certainly helped, Thanks Will. The range has a different selection of targets to choose from, size, distance and high and low. Definitely will return
