I use to belong to Telco a few years back with my Father, he became to old to shoot so we bother stop going, my father passed at the ripe age of 97 not long ago, and now IΓÇÖm thinking of rejoining, I never ever had a bad incident with any of the people that worked there or any of the members, their was a gentleman that worked there we went to school together, hope he is still there and healthy, Jerry, a great person! Anyway, hope IΓÇÖll be able to rejoin, I like to do some Bow Shooting and alittle gun shooting, so, if possible let me know if IΓÇÖm able to rejoin!

I've been a member for 2 years now and I have never experienced anything like some of the other reviews mention. First, there is no "range officer", and everyone at the the range is an RSO. Second, there is a gentleman that visits the range often, and he ensures new members follow the rules, but I have never seen him lose his cool. I guess some people are too sensitive to being corrected? This is a gun range and safety rules have to be followed.

I had the same experience as other reviewers. The "range officer" is very argumentative and combative to the point where I felt unsafe. The supposed infractions seemed minor or non existent but the range officer proceeded to charge and yell at members without even so much as identifying himself. Luckily this wasn't directed at me but after seeing so many confrontations I stopped going. I have a sinking suspicion that this is to bilk new members out of the initial $300 fee so legacy members can enjoy the benefits of a private range for less of a cost. I did not feel welcomed or safe at this range despite shooting for 20 years and and having multiple NRA certifications. I'll take my membership fees elsewhere.

I was told to "shut up" in front of my ten year old son when I calmly told the person working at the range that I didn't appreciate him yelling at me. I have been a member at the range for over ten years. This was the second time I brought my son along. Today will be the first and last time I am subject to this type of treatment. I have asked for a refund of my 2017-2018 dues which have already been prepaid. There was apparent confusion about what "unsupervised" and "unsupervised shooting" meant. I left my son sitting next to an unloaded firearm, with the action open while I went to my car to recharge my dead cell phone. My son was instructed to not touch the firearm or ammunition until I returned, which he acknowledged and followed the instructions. Before I could reach my car, 30 feet away, I was attacked by a screaming lunatic bully. This lunatic was a man I recognized, and had had a pleasant conversation with in the past. The person in question at one point in the past had even given me instruction on how to field strip one of my rifles, for which I was very appreciative. Today, however, was a different story. The level of verbal abuse I received was beyond comprehension. So much so, that I felt the biggest danger to myself and my son at the gun range was this man. His anger was such that I was not sure if he was about to resort to physical violence. He was inches from my face as he screamed that I had disrespected him. I indeed felt threatened by him. Needless to say, in order to not provoke this madman further, my son and I proceeded to pack up and leave the range as quickly as we could. As we tried to leave the range, we were again accosted by the man who claimed my son was not a member and was not even welcomed at the range. My son is, indeed, a paid member who for safety reasons will never set foot at telco again. I have no reason to put my son at risk. I have been active with the NRA for approximately 30 years. That being said, I am always open for any input regarding increased safety with regard to firearms. Had I been approached in a civil manner, I would have graciously followed any instruction or suggestion. I have no chip on my shoulder, and nothing to prove to anyone. To be verbally attacked and screamed at by this lunatic makes me suspect he may suffer from a psychological condition, or may be suffering the affects of dementia. In my opinion, quite dangerous when firearms are so readily handy. I will continue to enjoy the shooting sports, but will continue my pursuits elsewhere. Very Truly Yours, Anthony Leska
