My Family went today and it was great. We had four adults and two 13 year old boys. From the front desk to the range all employees were respectful and helpful. It was a very safe and clean environment. Special shout out to Sam for helping us and for putting that fire out downrange. Awesome group of guys working here. I wish this range was in my town.

Great place to go to shoot and don't let those skills rust. I always take my 15-year old brother with me so he can get more comfortable with guns and also know about them.

They keep it safe and simple. You come here and you shoot with whatever you bring. A great place to take someone who has never fired a gun but wants to experience (for very cheap)

This is a nice place to practice. They have pistol and rifle areas. Distance varies from 25, 50, and 100 yards for rifle. The guard, Same, is a very nice guy. He even helped me with calibration of my rifle, taught me a lot knowledge about shooting, for free of charge!!! This range is very cheap. As a Texas resident, I only spent ~$17 (after tax) for two persons. Strongly recommend!!

Nice place to shoot. I typically get to go during the week when it's not crowded at all. Lets put it this way.....it's a little bit of a drive from the southeast side of Houston, but if you're wanting to shoot outdoors, it's 1000 times better than the dump in League City, and the "club for snobs" in Friendswood / Alvin area. My choice for indoor is Marksman Range in South Houston. My choice for outdoor range is Texas City Municipal Range. Just follow their rules and everything will be okay. For the couple of "whiners".....IT'S THEIR RANGE - YOU'RE A VISITOR!

Good price to go to a range is the best I can say. Too many rules. They supercede Federal laws. Can't do this can't do that... I mean is this not Texas???

I shoot here almost every weekend. It is a clean and well kept facility. The Rangemasters are polite and do a good job of keeping everyone safe. Im very pleased with the range and the employees. The only thing i would change, would be having a number of benches at one end or the other for Ar or other semi auto weapons and or to install netting between the rifle benches, like the pistol area has to keep brass from being thrown on the guy shooting on the next bench. Other than that, this is the best 100 yrd range I have been to.

Shot skeet there last weekend. Good facility and equipment. No a professional level skeet operation but great for a casual round or 2 with friends. No puller or score keeper. But everything was clean, and we'll maintained. I liked and will return.

I went to this place on Saturday 7/23/22 after work on a buddy's recommendation, although he admittedly hadn't been here in a long time. Firstly, upon entering the building, they enforce you open your chamber and detach all mags from all weapons. No problem there. It was when I was leaving when I had an incident I've never experienced before. Just as if I was entering, I opened my chamber to my pistol and dropped my empty mag out. I then asked my buddy, who had the previous experience, if it was ok to put my gun in my bag upon exiting the range. It was then, when an Asian guy yelled from a few stalls down for me to point my open chambered, empty magged weapon down range. I ignored him because my weapon was open and empty. A few seconds later the range officer comes by to reiterate to me what I already know. I didn't argue with the range officer(he had a bad case of little man syndrome) and just apologized so he would get out of my sight. If the Asian man was minding his own business, and not worrying about what everyone else was doing, this review would have never been written. But, unfortunately, he may have had the same case of little man syndrome the range officer did. After wards the range officer went to chat with the Asian man and offered some more supports for his rifle. They probably shared their experience(or lack thereof) of unchambered, harmless weapons. Or at least they should have been trying to educate themselves. Unfortunately, it seems at this range, it's not what you know....it's who you know. I will never be returning to this range again. To the owner/ manager....I highly suggest you educate both your staff and clientele on weaponry before you lose more customers.

Best gun range I’ve visited in Houston area. Very clean, well kept and the staff is amazing. I might be biased because they graciously allowed me to pattern my shotgun for free 🙂.

I visit this location often, and my last visit on 4/24/22 I was there with my wife. The afternoon started out ok and they weren't very busy. Then I noticed more people coming in, at that time the pistol side was filling up. Then I noticed more and more people weren't following the rules and I spoke with the young men working the range. This is a cause for concern due to the fact that I take my family there. Training is needed for everyone, and the personnel at the site could us some also. I've been happy overall with the range over the years, I live in the area and will continue to visit the site. My point is- " if you see things that are not safe say something."
