Great rifle and pistol club. All outside, but your shooting table is covered. Safety is paramount at the range. Up to 100 yards shooting lanes. Safety officer on duty, 9 to 4pm in the winter, and rarely closed. Good vipes.

The facilities here are great and the people friendly and helpful. I participate in the competition level air rifle/pistol range twice weekly and are very happy with the folks there. The other available ranges there numerous, suiting the needs of most.

Enrolling in three different classes offered by the Arlington-Fairfax chapter of the IWLA surpassed all my expectations. Among these classes, the most recent one, the "Shotgun Shooting Camp," stands out as a prime example of exceptional instruction. Spanning two days, the Shotgun Shooting Camp was an intensive course focused on learning trap and skeet shootingΓÇöchallenges that require precision in targeting flying clay objects using shotguns. As someone grappling with eye-hand coordination issues compounded by age, the task appeared daunting from the outset. In the initial stages, my performance left much to be desired; hitting any target seemed like an insurmountable feat. I found myself on the verge of giving up. Yet, amidst my struggles, the unwavering support and guidance from the instructorsΓÇöPam, Ben, and JΓÇöserved as the cornerstone of my progress. Their patience knew no bounds as they tirelessly assisted me in refining my posture, movements, and timing. Their dedication was truly remarkable; at one juncture, all three instructors converged around me, providing simultaneous guidance and encouragement. Through their collective efforts, I gradually gained proficiency, ultimately finding joy in the sport. By the conclusion of the class, I made the firm decision to pursue further mastery of this exhilarating activity. It dawned on me that without the expertise and unwavering encouragement of these exceptional instructors, I would have missed out on the opportunity to savor the thrill of the game at my age

Nothing wrong with the range itself, but the business needs to seriously consider relocating due to constant gunshot noises heard in neighborhoods.

Archery range is excellent, however I was not impressed with the range safety officer at the rifle range. He was extremely condescending to my wife and arrogant. Also he is not knowledgeable when it comes to different types of ammunition. We ended up leaving without shooting. Great place for archery but avoid the rifle range because the rso is an absolute Fudd.

The best facility in Fairfax for outdoors sports. Skeet/trap, target and field archery, rifle/pistol range and a catch and release pond. It's an IWLA members only facility.
