The Armory

Q: How long is your indoor shooting range ?
A: Yes 25 yards is our max. We do have 2 ranges, but the other is 15 yards rather than 25.
- The Armory (7 years ago)
A: 25 yards
- Tyler Abeyta (7 years ago)
A: I don't believe there is a time range when you rent a lane. Just until you run out of ammo. Of course, they do sell some more to extend your time! I have been there for 30 minutes and last weekend closer to an hour and a half, and no difference. Prices are based per lane and amount of people using lane (there were three of us). Ha Im dumb. I misread the question. It is 25 Yards in length. You can shoot rifles or handguns. We rented a fully automatic rifle (5.56 cal) and shot it at 25 Yards, which is the max. I know a few people who have worked there and I'm unaware of a separate range, as suggested in anther response.

A: I dont work there but i believe its 25 yards in the rifle/pistol range.
- J L (6 years ago)
A: It is 25 yards in the public lanes with an auto system that goes to the distance rather than judging. There is a private lane to the right that is a little more and 15 uards. But the proces arw still great
- Phil Harvey (7 years ago)
Q: Do you guys sell ammo
A: Yes they sales most of your popular brands and calibers of ammo. Prices are not bad either. Great local company with a lot of knowledge and top notch customer service. Highly recommended.
- Ben Deollos (5 years ago)
A: Yes, most types.
- The Armory (5 years ago)
Q: Are you open 7 days a week
A: Yes. Monday – Saturday 10AM – 8PM Sunday 11AM – 6PM
- The Armory (5 years ago)
Q: I'm a new shooter who bought my first handgun want my conceal permit why are you$25 instead of$50 your price is much better
A: We don't do fingerprints. If you take the class from us, you must do fingerprints through BCI.
- The Armory (5 years ago)
Q: Do they let you test out weapons before you purchase them here?
A: They do have some rental ones to try out. The people here are laid back and some of the best. I'd recommend this store for first time buyers for sure.
- Taylor Beckstrom (7 years ago)
A: Yes, we have a wide variety of guns to rent.
- The Armory (7 years ago)
A: Yes, you can test out as many as you'd like. Plus, you should. It's good to know the feel and behavior of a gun before purchasing.
- Hannah Bleak (7 years ago)
A: Yes, do rent before you buy. You'll be happier with your purchase
- Biggs Lew (Big Lew) (7 years ago)
A: They have a good collection of popular firearms for you to rent so you can make an informed decision on a purchase.
- A (Hapstashyo) (7 years ago)
Q: Good day do you speak Spanish?
A: I don't know that don't want to lie
- Damien O Brien (2 months ago)
A: I do not
- George Connor (2 months ago)
Q: Do they run background checks
A: On every serialized item, yes.
- The Armory (3 months ago)
A: You need only to provide acknowledgments of range rules and your safe frame of mindΓÇö to use the range with your guns.
- George Connor (3 months ago)
Q: Are there specific hours when I have to come in to certify my eForm with the ATF for my suppressors, or can that be done any time during your business hours?
A: Typically Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6pm
- The Armory (8 months ago)
Q: Do you have a lawyer plan
A: Give them a call
- Biggs Lew (Big Lew) (a year ago)
Q: Do you buy rifles from private owners?
A: Yes we do buy used guns.
- The Armory (a year ago)
A: I don't think the armory buys guns or take trades, but double check with them directly

I stopped in there and Vincent helped me press in a rear site after a combat cut on my Glock. Quick, professional, and it didn't cost me a dime. Great customer service!

I recently visited The Armory with high hopes of enjoying a day at the range. However, my experience was marred by the rude and unprofessional arrogant behavior of the customer service representative Glancer. Despite the range being completely empty, the representative refused to accommodate our request for a second shooting line. This inflexibility and lack of customer-centric service left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. As a loyal customer, I expected better treatment and a more accommodating attitude. The unwillingness to provide a simple request, especially when the range was empty, reflects poorly on the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope that The Armory takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service to ensure a more positive experience for future visitors.

Such a great experience! Glen was so welcoming and helpful. His knowledge of firearms is incredible and is obviously a passion of his. My kids had a million questions and Glen seemed happy to answer all of them! He helped us to feel comfortable and safe with the firearms in the range. Glen is a huge asset to this facility. Highly recommended.

Worst firing range ever!! I never really write reviews but this had to be said.. It was awful, the fans are blowing so hard from inside, that everyone targets were flopping around… Go to TNT or ANYWHERE better and save yourself the trouble of this place…I’m truly shocked how any business owner would even offer this place… it’s a total joke for a firing range, if you end up going… then you can see it for yourself…

I work in the Second Amendment industry and am constantly exposed to ΓÇÿguns, gear and trainingΓÇÖ. As a 2A advocate and professional I consider it a responsibility to train so I can better protect myself and loved ones on top of learning all the latest tactics techniques and procedures that come out. I am always trying to better myself by attending courses, clinics, and competitive shooting events in order to be a more accurate and faster shooter. Listening to lectures and talking about TTPs, watching YouTube videos and dry firing are good and fill the niche in between live fire ranges but they cannot replicate live fire. I recently attended a course that reinforced what I would call, brilliance in the basics and I wanted to take the time to give it my endorsement. Sovereign Tactics owner and chief instructor Brock Brown and Steven Scolari hosted a marksmanship course, Cheat Codes of ShootingΓäó 1, this past 11 January at the Armory in Salt Lake City and I had a phenomenal time and learned a lot during the 7-hour course. The key elements of the course were the application of the shooterΓÇÖs stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger press on a handgun platform. The core skills were instructed and demonstrated to improve studentsΓÇÖ understanding and application and were followed by various exercises and drills to help students better execute all the techniques taught in the class. The instructors used lecture, demonstration, practical application exercises and performance based testing with constant feedback to ensure myself and the other students met the standards. Though Brock and the other instructor, Steve, are both USPSA shooters, they demonstrated all the shooting exercises with basic carry handguns like what most of us in the class had. Cheat Codes of ShootingΓäó 1 is a marksmanship class designed for the full spectrum of shooting abilities from beginner to advance shooter to improve their overall pistol shooting performance by taking a deep dive into the core skills of shooting. Ultimately itΓÇÖs the ΓÇÿbrilliance in the basicsΓÇÖ that will win the gun fight or competitive shooting event. The cost of the course, 7 hours and 250 rounds is well worth it.

The staff at The Armory are helpful and caring. I enjoy shooting at their range. Recently I took a pistol class that was held there through Sovereign Tactics and Tactical Hyve. Great instructors that helped me with my fundamentals and saw a lot of improvement from the start of the class to the end of the class.
