Questions & Answers

Q: Whats rhe minimum age?

A: No minimum age when accompanied by a parent. The youngster will need to be able to see over the counter and be able to properly manipulate the chosen firearm. A first time shooter should start out with a 22 caliber so they can deal with learning proper technique and safety and not be worrying about recoil etc...

- The Bullet Hole (a year ago)

A: If accompanied by an adult member, as long as the youth can reach over the shooting counter, they may participate with direct adult supervision. (counter is about 40" high)

A: Where are you located and can you show me how to use it and fire my God

- Tricia Herring (3 years ago)

A: Not sure what you mean with this question. You can shoot for fun, to train, to improve, etc. But you must always follow the rules and regulations to shoot safely. No horse play or unsafe action that could endanger others. I would advise beginners to take a course to provide basic firearm safety and operational knowledge.

A: How much do you charge for the gun range

Let me start off by saying that I have been a paying member for several years (until yesterday). It all starts when I show up for some range time, and the person at the front desk says that they are closing 20 mins early. I ask if the hours have change from what is clearly posted? He says no, but they just tend to close things down 20 mins early. Strike #1. Great, start eh? So, they stick me on lane 3, down by the heater he says. I walk out to lane 3, and the heater is not working. Sweet. Strike #2. I try to use the hand-wheel to send the target out, but it just spins freely and doesn't move the target. Unfortunately, since they refuse to improve their equipment, most of their hand-wheel target movers don't work, and it's rare to get one that does. Strike #3. This is where it gets interesting ....I bring my own targets that I buy in bulk from Amazon or eBay to have a better variety. So I hang up one of my targets after moving down to lane 7 that has a somewhat functional hand-wheel, and this young kid comes out explaining that he's kicking me out for using a target that resembles a hostage and a damsel in distress. He explains that company policy is that only "silhouette" targets are allowed. (Sounds like some woke leftist liberal crap to me.) I calmly explain that I've been a paying member for years, and have used this exact target for year upon years without any issues. He says, he has to confiscate them or he's kicked me out. I tell him that's fine and move onto a different target from the stack I brought myself. Strike #4. So as I am paying, the front desk guy asks how it went, I told him about the young kid trying to kick me out, and about having to switch lanes to get one that would function. The front desk guy laughs about it. I ask him what the young kids name is that tried to kick me out, he said it wasn't important, I said it was to me, he refused to provide his name. Strike #5. I let them close up 20 mins early like they wanted and I left. I will NEVER return to The Bullet Hole, nor will I ever attend any of their classes again, and I personally will make sure everyone that I know in the 2A community avoids The Bullet Hole as well.

I took the beginner class at the bullet hole because i've been wanting to learn how to operate a firearm for years now but was pretty scared about actually doing it. The class was awesome, they made it very clear and simple throughout the entire class on the safety, operation and cleaning of a firearm. They also gave us the opportunity to go to the range and shoot the rentals they had available, we'd just have to buy certain ammo we wanted to use. All in all, i'd highly recommend the class to anyone like me who never grew up around firearms but want to learn. The facility itself was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I'll be coming back continuously to practice and learn!

i have only been to this range 3 times but all 3 times the older man who iΓÇÖm assuming the owner has always been rude. Friends i talked to about what ranges they recommend have had similar experiences at this location. range is an average indoor range no complains but you may have to shoot pistols and rifles on separate sides tho

Drove half an hour to get here based on website and google reviews. Info out of date; while it might be an awesome range, they are no longer a firearms dealer. Zero guns for sale and a wasted drive.

Tried to pay for a membership and was told debit cards "didn't work" and tap to pay credit card "didn't work". Zero explanation and no apology. Wanted to make this my go to spot. Ok...guess I'll give a different range my money.

The Bullet Hole was a good range and I shot my slug gun and scoped 357 on the 100 yd range 4 or 5 times without issue. I showed up 1 Nov 24 to get ready for hunting season, and on the range I was told by the range officer that I could not shoot my rifle or pistol on the 100 yd range. I went back to the office to get my $15.10 back since I never fired a shot freo either weapon, and was told that they never give refunds under any circumstances. Well, that is the last time I will visit that range. What a joke.

Friendly and accommodating staff. I went with my parents and siblings who have never shot a gun before and knew nothing about anything, and my limited experience shooting guns wasn't enough to properly instruct them on how to safely handle a gun and how to properly shoot. Although they're not there to instruct shooters at their range, the staff member went above and beyond to teach everyone the basics one by one so we felt more comfortable.

Not a gun shop. Just a gun range. Probably 5 guns in the whole store. The pictures on Google are either extremely old or a completely different place because this place doesn't have guns

IΓÇÖve been to several different shooting ranges on both sides of the state line. Bullet Hole is exceptional. We walked into a very welcoming environment. Staff was helpful and friendly. We filled out some paperwork and then started a tab. Not gonna lie, it was pretty cold in the range area but they did have a heater so it was okay. My brother and I shot for about 2hours. We were both a little rusty, and IΓÇÖm not that good anyway. Everyone in the range was respectful of each other and that made for a great time.

My dad and I go to this place and last year they had an event with vendors and food trucks. We both filled out some forms for our names to be drawn to win something. The vendor that we filled those forms out for had either sold our emails or signed us up for spam. It was a brand new email and I never signed into anything so I know without a doubt that the vendor was responsible. Please do not give out your email address to anybody that's not associated with the Bullet Hole. Otherwise we have had a great experience with this store and the associates are knowledgeable and extremely nice.

Nice place but the guy was kind of rude. Instead of asking could he help me, he assumed something else. Customer service can go a long way

I had an issue with a 1911 I never wouldΓÇÖve figured out on my own. The gunsmith Greg Langner gave me very good advice and helped me troubleshoot the issue very quickly and efficiently. He is a true professional and he is an asset to any organization that he chooses to work for. When the B-Hole is able to take guns in for gunsmith work again IΓÇÖll have him tune all of my high end guns and competition guns. 11/10 would recommend.

I'm a lefty and have owned many Glocks and had a 26 as my daily carry. They suggested I take a close look at the HK P30SK as a carry gun. They seemed very knowledgeable and took the time to show me the HK.

Very quick with FFL transfers, last transfer I did with them they called 90 minutes after UPS notified me that the delivery was made. The transfer fee is very reasonably priced as well. Other places have made me wait more than a week until they got around to it plus charged close to twice what the Bullet Hole charges.

Thanks to David for being so good with my 8-yo on his first indoor range experience. I've worked with 3 employees, plus Brian my CCW instructor, and I must say I've had a great experience each time. A kind and knowledgeable staff.

Call ahead if you're selling a gun to them, you may get there and the ony person that evaluates incoming firearm may not even be there. I literally just wanted to in a sense trade a "new" glock that had only 1 round fired out of it when i decided it was garbage. Was gonna trade an easy $400(used price, G43) Glock for a $250-$300 Taurus G3C. One young fella working there mention how much of a downgrade and dumb that was to do but after taking my business elsewhere and getting the G3C i was after, I realized that it was a major upgrade than that POS Glock 43. (I gave 4 stars due to the lovely/helpful gal behind the count and I haven't tried their range yet. -1 star based on the short 5 minute experience i had there)

As a member of the bullet hole, IΓÇÖve taken several classes with Greg. IΓÇÖve also taken classes at other ranges with other instructors in the past who arenΓÇÖt nearly as gifted in the form of teaching this craft (and my money/time was wasted). With Greg, his form of teaching and expertise has helped my shooting improve drastically in just a matter of hours. If youΓÇÖre looking to develop more accurate defensive shooting skills, looking to enter into competitive shooting, feel more comfortable with your gun, etc., his classes are for you.

Okay, so i was recently in KC and just happened to pop in looking for a Glock holster. The staff helped me out, and moreover, David were and is amazing. He helped me find the right fit and model to fit work and off work. Swing by and give them a chance and your business. They are helpful and solid dudes. The location is simple and easy to find. The building is clean, and parking is simple and easy to move around. The other customers also have that same feel of caring and sharing their thoughts on gear or guns, but not in a pushy way. I would not only go back, but I'll be talking about them for a long time to come. It's worth the five stars. Thank you all for your help! Tell me in the comments if you like or agree on my review.
