Q: Are you guys NRA certified for boy scouts ?

A: Any in particular ?

- Todd Wandell (6 years ago)

A: I would recommend going to a city range. Not that they're not certified.

- Biggs Lew (Big Lew) (6 years ago)

A: That's a question for the owners, we just go to the airsoft events held by Milsim City.

I would have given 5 but I think I lost a kidney driving in on the access road.

I have taken several courses at the FARM over the past few years. They have all been well run and worth the time and money. The owners have brought in some great teachers and actively participate to make sure things run smooth. If I lived closer, I would become a member.

Love this place. It is a community of shooters with shooters wants at the focus. It is nice being able to have a spot where there are not morons shooting up TVs and blowing up tannerite and leaving trash everywhere. I love training here and love the community that trains here with me.

I really enjoyed the training I received at The FARM Training Center from Marksmanship Matters. It was a professional firearms experience and I felt safe and well trained to stop any bad actions to protect and defend myself and others, should the need arise.

The FARM Training Center in Fairfield, Utah, is a no-nonsense facility tailored for serious firearms training. Its 270-degree "pit" bay enables rugged, dynamic shooting drills with multiple targets and movement in various directions. The center also boasts multiple 100-yard shooting bays and a single 400-yard long-range bay, accommodating both pistol and long-range rifle practice. Designed for military, law enforcement, and professional firearms instructors, the facility also welcomes dedicated enthusiasts seeking to practice advanced drills. Be aware that the access road is unpaved and can be rough; off-road or high-clearance vehicles are recommended. For those committed to honing their skills in a demanding environment, the FARM Training Center delivers.

The premier training site in the state. It has the best training from the best people and for flat range training it allows the ability to train in ways one could never in an indoor range.

The training center is well-constructed and set up nicely. The road out to it, however, is awful. There were pieces of someone's rental car lying along the road when we visited. Bring a pickup or SUV when you go.

This is a great place to do more advanced shooting training as they have a shoot house. This place is used by law enforcement agencies and competitive shooters. Not a traditional shooting range for the general public, but highly recommended!

I understand you don't want trespassing to keep a safe environment for the Larping.... but blocking access to the public trail is wild to me. At least make it possible to open and close the fencing line at one point. The trail ends right near the entrance, and it's obvious you guys know since as soon as the trail hits the public road you have a sign yet the T post fence has no exit. It's not private property it's clearly marked on the maps and the boundary lines are clearly visible of what's public and what's not. It's a named trail. Obviously fence off everything you own but you have the trail entrance blocked as well.

I first attended a Frank Proctor training event at the Farm Training Center in 2021. The instruction was great and the facilities were top notch. Take a look at their events calendar, accessible within 1 hour from the Salt Lake area, the Farm attracts the industryΓÇÖs best firearms training talent and content.

I have been using the Farm Training Center for over a year. I can not say enough about the owners and how helpful the have been to my company Marksmanship Matters. We have conducted a variety of classes at the facility and the ranges have filled our needs very well. I have recommended the Farm Training Center to other training organizations who have been most appreciative for the use of the facility.

I really like what the new management has done with The Farm. You can tell they are trying to bring it back to it's former glory. It's set up so you can can practice in a environment where you know others around you are following safety rules. You can shoot short or long range and they have amazing classes and fun competitions out there.

This place has been on of my go-to home ranges for training and competition for years now. I'm grateful it has been around, but now that it is under new ownership / management they have upped the quality of the entire experience. I can't wait to see what they create in the coming years after seeing what they've done in just the last 12 months.
