The Firing Line
Q: Why canΓÇÖt we come to shoot without being a member?
A: It's a private business with a yearly membership fee. Orientation is required as well. You can shoot as a guest of a member for $15.

Great private range. Rifle out to 100 yards. Many tac bays. Usually only a few other shooters to the whole property. Membership and rules very straightforward.

Great private range. The owners are good people and run a respectable business. You may not get cell service depending on your cell provider.

Simple outdoor range that has plenty of space for you to train how you want to train.

It's a dirt range. It floods a lot. Has a tactical bay which is nice. No covers and many benches are not useable. No benches in most bays. Biggest problem is rifle range distances aren't even close. Last I measured the 50 was short and the hundred was quite a bit long (over 125 when it should be 100). This makes it hard to set your rifle scope up. Better options to be had out there for the money.

I had the BEST time today! I signed up for an instruction course with Grant at Guns+ a couple weeks ago and today was the DAY to hit the range. I'd never fired a handgun before today and was hella nervous when I got there but after the time spent I'm definitely more comfortable handling them. We'll definitely be getting a membership so I can get out there again ASAP. Bonus points (I can't give any more stars...) for being so close to home! Its a super narrow gravel driveway from the paved CR and definitely do NOT trust your GPS. I ended up at a nice gentleman's house initially but he was kind enough to give me directions. The set up with the targets was right up against a burm so there wasn't any worry I was going to accidentally shoot someone when I missed. Its an outdoor range so be sure to bring water and sun protection!

Would be nice if there was a "per use" option instead of having to pay for a whole year.

Great place, not too far out of town. The gate access is awesome, Tac Bays, and 100yd range. Their site shows they are adding 2 more bays and a field to shoot clay pigeons.

Nothing fancy outdoor ranges only up to 100 yards but most of the time I shoot alone there or with one other person. Combo lock access. Only paper unless you get your steel targets approved. Benches on 100 yd range but nothing on the others. No covering so if you want to be out of the sun bring your own popup. Sign up at at Guns Plus in Georgetown. Membership a bit pricey but the solitude makes it worth the price.

I would really like to know more about this range but the web site for it seems to have some kind of Trojan virus (at least according to my anti-virus.. It would be great if the person managing this web site corrected whatever is causing the Trojan alert so that folk could actually visit the site and see what they have to offer.
