The Gun Range

Q: Can I bring my fully semi auto assault gun with a 3 round clip?
A: Only if they are 30 caliber magazine clips
- Shane Neal (5 years ago)
A: Good question, only if you are accompanied by a CNN reporter
- John Hou (4 years ago)
A: Amazing that some of my 2A brothers don't know you are making fun of leftist talking points that have actually been publically said out loud by people who wish to write the legislation seeking to limit our rights. I believe the fully semiautomatic comment came from CNN/Don Lemon who said he was able to purchase a fully semiautomatic ar15 in Colorado while there doing a story.
- Robert Mosher (3 years ago)
A: I'd like to see a fully semi auto gun.
- Cliff Williams (4 years ago)
A: No fully auto is legal in California, doesn't matter how many in magazine and no such thing as a fully auto semi auto its one or the other and no such thing as an assault weapon that is a made up term by CNN
- Chris Pesuti (4 years ago)
Q: Is this a good range for a beginner shooter?
A: Yes. We've brought our kids here to try different guns and learn.
- Heidi Nowak (6 years ago)
A: How old does your kids have to be?

A: Yes g
- Henry Hadfield (a year ago)
A: Yes, one of the best

- Nestor Gerales (6 years ago)
Q: How is the prices ?
A: $17.00, $15.00 for vets,LE, First Responders
- Bill Bohmer (6 years ago)
A: You can also try out a firearm before you buy.
- Rusty Knife Lover (6 years ago)
A: Yes
- Rodney Ibey (6 years ago)
A: Good prices.
- Heidi Nowak (6 years ago)
A: Great pricing for rental of guns and shooting range
- MI SMOOTH (6 years ago)

A: The range maxes out at 25 yards.
- Fast-eddy Flat-hed (6 years ago)
A: The range is 25 yards
- Kris S. (6 years ago)
A: We have the main larger range that has 15 stalls, and has a max distance of 25 yards. We also have a smaller range that has 5 stalls and a max distance of 12 yards.
- The Gun Range (7 months ago)
A: No
- Kathy Puleo (7 months ago)
A: The only indoor range that goes to 50 yards that I know of is Sacramento gun club. In Rancho Cordova.
- Troy McClintock (6 years ago)
Q: Do you have to bring your own firearm
A: no.. many models to rent from, also ear protection and glasses and targets.. all can be rented... ammunition for sale including inexpensive reloads
- Tony Startup (7 years ago)
A: All of the above, plus if you rent their weapons, make sure you take some gun oil with you, or buy some from them. My friend rented a glock from them, and it kept jamming. The only reason glocks jam, is because they need to be oiled. A couple of squirts out my oil, and it fired just fine.
- Omar Jackson (7 years ago)
A: If you go by yourself you will need to bring a firearm with you if you want to rent one. If you go with someone then you don't have to bring one. However if you rent one of their weapons you have to use their ammunition. Make sure to take your ID
- Gianni awi equa unegv (7 years ago)
A: You can rent them.
- Bryan Camacho (2 years ago)
A: If you go alone you need to bring a firearm to rent one. However, if you're with at least one other person and they have a firearm, you may rent one.
- Monae (6 years ago)
Q: If I attend the ar basics class can I get help zeroing my firearm?
A: Yes I think so.
- Steve D Perez (3 years ago)
Q: Do they allow brass collection?
A: Yes they do, let them know that you save your brass, but only yours.
- Fast-eddy Flat-hed (6 years ago)
A: What Edward said
- Chad Eggert (6 years ago)
Q: How Old do you have to be to shoot?
A: There is no age restriction as long as they are with a parent... I've seen kids as young as 8
- LaToya Rasberry (7 years ago)
A: I have been taking my daughter since she was about 10; parent just needs to sign waiver .
- Jesse jurado (7 years ago)
A: I want to say 12 but could be 13 with a parent.
- Jack Meoff (7 years ago)
A: There's no age restriction. A parent just has to supervise children at all times.
- Omar Jackson (7 years ago)
A: You will have to call the gun range for exact ages nessesary and various other stipulations regarding safety.
- Fast-eddy Flat-hed (7 years ago)
Q: Does this location have gun rental and sell ammo?
A: Yes sir, pistol rentals are 16 and long guns are 20. No time limit. Ammo for sale for the range no backround check unless your taking ammo home

Purchased my first handgun here and it was a great experience. They were exceptionally helpful in every way possible from buying the gun and giving me an excellent veteran discount. Showing me proper use of the gun, answering all my newbie questions and not trying to ΓÇ£upsellΓÇ¥ me in any way, I got exactly what I wanted at a great price. It was so convenient and nice to be able to purchase the gun then turn around and walk right in to the range and start getting familiar with the handgun. Easily a 5 star experience !

What a spot. Out of all the ranges I've been to this is the spot. I felt comfortable. The staff was awesome. The prices good and I felt the safest. I've been to some ranges that let people in that rented guns who had no experience and were an accident waiting to happen. Those I ended up leaving early. This place is awesome. Very comfortable environment. This will be my go to place for all my calipers.

Wonderful staff and facilities. FYI Pistol range (maybe rifle area too?) didn't have tables on the back wall as I was used to. I didn't ask if it was under construction. There was new lighting and sound deadening material. The table in the shooting bay was only supported on one side so wobbly to work on. I still give them 5 stars. People there are always helpful and make the experience a fun and safe one. Thank you TGR

Each person who assisted me was very rude, kept giving me different answers and was not consistent with their knowledge. They have bad customer service and I would not recommend them. Not even go to the range or buying any gun from them. They only want money!!! I repeat they will screw you over because they are selfish about money and they are a sketch company

My son started taking me here in the last year. We always went to an outdoor range before. I am liking this place more every time. Good place to rent a gun before you commit to purchasing one. Reasonable prices on ammo as well so no need to pick up at the store before you head over. Just use good ear protection. Some guys shoot pretty big caliber rifles.

Excellent experience with friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff that's focused on safety. I've went there many times through the years and never had any issues. It would be nice to see lower prices but they have to survive too. Have fun, practice the four rules of gun safety.

My favorite gun range. Busy but I can usually get in after a few minutes on the main range. Good price for target ammunition and range fees. I like that they rent many different gun types to try. Guns are like functional art. Precision machines. Shooting targets is a stress reliever for me. Focusing on all the things that affect precision, pushΓÇÖs lifeΓÇÖs priorities to the side for a couple of hours. When I finish shooting. My many priorities come back into focus with rational importance and reasoned impact. Making it clear how to use my time more effectively, instead of dwelling upon mottled thoughts. If you are a cautious person, I recommend renting guns and clearing your mind by focusing your precision amidst distracting noises. Training your mind to focus surrounded by lifeΓÇÖs noises. Ooooo uuuummmmm Click

Terrific gun range!!! A large variety of gun rentals. Clean environment. Well ventilated in the shooting area and climate controlled. There are a lot of shooting stalls. But it can be busy due to its popularity. Be patient! It's worth it. The staff are friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. This is by far my favorite and thee BEST gun range to shoot at! I choose to drive from Yuba to Sacramento just to shoot here. The reasons why this range is the all-time best is because it allows licensed CCW holders, armed security, and LEO to safely practice and hone their skills with holsters training/ drawing from concealment. And allows rapid fire. Just don't be an unsafe idiot, please. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly, highly recommend! 10/5 rating
