Had to travel to the area for a business trip and thought I'd stop by. Never been to an indoor range as I have always shot and trained at home. They were extremely helpful in getting me squared away. In regards to the review about discrimination... Clearly if you live your life looking for slights where none exist you're going to find plenty of imaginary ones. In regards to the reviewer paying a FFL fee, clearly you have never bought a gun before that was shipped to an FFL. The bloody audacity to think a business would employee people to receive your highly regulated "mail" and then do it for free!

My husband and I did rentals and absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff! Jessie helped us as well as another member (I canΓÇÖt remember his name unfortunately). We are newbies and they made sure we were comfortable! As well as great recommendations for what were weΓÇÖre looking for. Definitely will be back again

It's been a decade since I have been at a gun shop or a range. But as a former LE officer and moving to the South, I thought it would be best to put some time in and make sure my skills are up to par, especially if I am going to start carrying again. I came in Sunday late afternoon so it wasn't too busy. I was immediately greeted and assisted by the staff. Andrea, Ed, and Jason were super friendly. Took the time to answer my many questions, helped me w a transfer and purchasing some products and even saved me some $. I sure appreciate that! I signed up for a range membership and a concealed weapons class. I was able to throw some rounds in the range which was clean and simple to use. I look forward to spending a lot of time and my money here. I used to go the the big box stores and the other large armory store for purchases but no longer. It's nice to feel wanted and be serviced by staff that actually have a passion for what they do and who they serve.

I've been going to The Gun Shop for over two years every week, and I never tire of it. I'm always greeted when I come in the door and made to feel welcome. As a female shooter, Tuesdays are special for me as Ladies Shoot Free on Tuesdays. (You can't beat that for hospitality!) The range is always clean and well-maintained, and safety is foremost. And... there's always lots of goodies in the case upstairs to look at and buy! I look forward to going every week.

I am new to handguns and thirsty for practice and knowledge. Me and my wife stopped in to try the range and we're floored with how friendly and knowledgeable EVERY staff member was. So much so that we both got a year membership.

IΓÇÖm from NC and came to visit my parents. While I was here wanted to shoot so I stoped by this shop. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by super friendly staff. New gun owners or vets you will feel welcome here. Ed the stores owner talked to me and my wife for almost an hour about everything. IΓÇÖm active duty military and so is my wife and we shot for almost two hours for free. Love this store and the people working there. Definitely recommend!

On 9/4/24 , I pulled in and backed my car into a parking space and got out to make a purchase. The reason, I backed into the parking space, was because, the parking lot, is extremely little. I reached for the door and it was locked. I saw cars there, indicating, the business was open. I didn't peep in the window. I got back in my car to leave. I took a glance at the store, and a Caucasian teenager, was being let in the store by an elderly Caucasian man , with the door barely open . I knew, it was at that moment, I was being targeted. Just put up a large bulletin on the front door , that reads " For whites only " , because at that late in the morning, you were open for business. I took a photo , of the building, so I could do a review, because I'm not from the area, so I wouldn't forget the name of the business. I went to the Simpsonville gun and pawn shop right down the street, later, before I left the town, and I was treated with respect and thanked for my purchase. I'm a female and I don't pose a threat, to no one . It'll be the one you trust.of your own nationality, that will harm you . You do realize, we're in a recession, and all sorts, of businesses are going out of business. I hear you loud and clear, my money, won't spend. I won't be back. You're into , that stranger danger, era, and Jim Crow. God is watching you, and you got to be held accountable, for your actions, on judgement day!

Please DO NOT listen to that 1 star review complaining about him being ignored because of ethnicity. IΓÇÖve been a member at the gun shop for almost 3 years, and everyone has always been friendly and respectful. The range is nothing fancy with digital controls but itΓÇÖs very well maintained. Come shop/shoot and see for yourself.

The staff at this gun range was amazing. They instantly greeted us and were very helpful. They were very inexpensive when using the range. They have guns and ammo to rent. I loved the range here because the big guns arenΓÇÖt allowed. The range is pretty clean in my opinion. I had fun shooting and practicing. Afterwards, I made some purchases and the nice guy showed me how to use it. I am looking forward to spending many more times here!!

We had a great time, clean lanes, great pricing, knowledgeable staff and we bought a gun and ammo Rented one to shot wile we were there. I forgot my plugs and they lent them to me free! It won't let me post photos Thank you for a great time

A special thank you to Ben and the staff at the Gun store making my first trip an enjoyable one. IΓÇÖve lived in 6 different states by far the best service IΓÇÖve ever received. I will be back very soon to purchase ammo n more guns. If there was room for more stars I would use them

Unhelpful. Staff walks away from you when you needing help. White people walked in., all 3 helpers all asked him if he needed help. Didn't come help me. Do not recommend for people of color.

Bought my wife flowers, and then I bought myself a Pink Glock, just because. Great price, and I love there indoor range. You can find anything on their online store too. 10/10.

Great place, nice selection. Informative staff, they offer classes, gun rental to use for the range. Have many specials that run throughout week for the range. Wish there were more places such as this. Moving from PA this is a great find !!!!

I have to admit that I was severly intimidated when first walking in to the store. However, I was set at ease while asking questions and basically given an impromptu basic pistol class by one of the staff. I hate it that I can't remember his name! Ladies, I highly recommend this shop. I was made welcome, given excellent instructions and once I become comfortable with the firearm I was using, began shooting good groups with confidence!! Thank y'all so much!!!

I took my CWP class with John here at the gun shop. It was very informative, entertaining and I qualified that same day with confidence. Don't feel intimidated to come here to acquire training, ask questions or come and shoot. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to enhance your experience with your firearm or just in general while you shop around. I highly recommend this local gun store!

First and foremost, if you order a firearm through Palmetto State Armory (PSA), have it shipped to PSA rather than here to avoid having to pay a $30 transfer fee or the arrogant and condescending owner at The Gun Shop & Indoor Range. Ordered a firearm through PSA, and had it shipped to The Gun Shop & Indoor Range that is slightly closer to me than PSA. When I went to pick the firearm up the owner wanted me to start the transaction process without giving me time to look over the firearm. I explained that I'd like to look over the firearm and the owner rudely tells me "If there's a problem with it it's between you and PSA." After looking over it and being concerned with it's failure to cycle the bolt smoothly or release the magazine, I told the owner that I'd like to give PSA a call and see what my options are if it's defective. The owner again suggests that it's not their problem. I ultimately decided to go through with taking possession of the weapon, filling out all the paperwork, and meeting the owner's unprovoked rudeness with kindness. When everything wrapped up and I go to pick up the firearm and be on my way, the worker tells me that I have to pay $30 for transfer fee. For some reason I thought I paid this with my online order. Would not have had much of an issue with paying this fee, but to pay it in exchange for poor customer service is disappointing. Shame on The Gun Shop and Indoor Range for not disclosing their transfer fee upfront prior to having buyers fill out the transfer paperwork and take possession, and shame on The Gun Shop and Indoor Range for providing condescending and arrogant customer service to a Veteran and taking issue with someone inspecting their firearm prior to purchase.

What an amazing experience for my first time shooting at a gun range!!! Eric provided superb customer service. He was friendly, patient with me as a newbie and made me feel comfortable. Ben was amazing with showing me how to use my gun and shoot it. He provided me training on the spot and didnΓÇÖt leave my side until I was comfortable with shooting. Ladies this is the place to come to practice shooting!!! Highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. They both went over and above to help me and I truly appreciate it. I will not go anywhere else be back next week!
