Absolutely the best place to go. I was not happy with the gun I had and they took the time to show me what would be best for me. I hated shooting because it turns out, I have the wrong gun and wasn't properly shown how to shoot. I can't tell you the patience both Ken and Nick had with me and now I can't wait to go back. Ladies, I absolutely encourage you to stop and chat with them. If you aren't confident, give them a chance to help. 100% recommend it! Thank you guys so much and we'll be back next week!

Unironically the worse range I've ever been to. The staff are rude and unaccommodating, and the RSO makes the experience entirely unenjoyable and the constant critism needs to stop. People pay to train and enjoy themselves, not for someone to harass and belittle them constantly. Before the owner tries to cover for her employees, this is a issue I've experienced every time I've been to your business. They like to do anything but accept responsibility for poor service and bad practices. There are other ranges available, we will be going elsewhere and you should too.

Took my 16 hour pistol course here. What would have usually been a boring class was a fun and educational time with the instructor and his animated personality. The instructor spoke loud enough for everyone to hear and also stopped to make sure everyone understood the material. Would go here to take it again if I had to. On a side note: Go here prior to your class or if you are thinking of getting your pistol permit. They rent guns and sell targets for an extremely affordable price. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I watched them coach a few people who have never shot a gun and couldn't hit paper to hitting the paper very quickly within a couple rounds. It's just my suggestion to utilize their experience, guns and shooting range to help build your confidence before the course.

I had an unpleasant experience at this pistol range. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming and apprehensive, especially if you donΓÇÖt fit a specific demographic. I was treated as if I were suspicious or unwelcome, which made the visit uncomfortable. Additionally, the staff violated my confidentiality by loudly stating my personal information during the check-in process, which felt highly inappropriate given the setting. Once at the range, I was not afforded any independence, as staff stood directly behind me while I was shooting, which was both distracting and intrusive. I believe everyone should feel safe and respected at a shooting range, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

A nice location with plenty of parking. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, with a helpful and correct understanding of the NY rules regarding a non resident the right to shoot a handgun at there range. For the answer, call them before showing up ready to mag dump some paper, because you may have already broken a NY law.

If more than five stars were available, the Indoor Gun Range in Troy, NY would deserve them all. As first time (excited and a bit nervous) shooters, the team made our experience comfortable and engaging. Ken, our instructor, was extremely supportive and completely nonjudgmental. Even mistakes we made became opportunities to learn in a comfortable and fun setting. Most importantly, safety was the number one priority in everything we did (or did not do). We travelled an hour and a half to get there and are looking forward to our next visit.

This was our first time at this range and we won’t be going back. The sales guy who didn’t work there but was somehow helping us, was really nice but that’s about where the good news ends. The other salesmen were rude about us not knowing which handguns we could rent vs which were new and questioning what I knew as a woman shooter. My husband and I both did a “try before you buy” and were shocked that it was $20 each for 5 shots of ammo!!! I must be in the wrong business, $4 a bullet is obnoxious. RSO was very rude and judgmental. I was standing in isosoles stance while trying the pistol out and was rudely asked “jeesh what are you shooting at?!” (The target, obviously…) but because I wasn’t perfect, I was judged. He went on to tell both my husband (who has a lot of experience) that we weren’t standing correctly… we were both in isosolece stance; if he didn’t know that then I’m concerned for those hes teaching! And then went on to question what women’s club I’m in because I clearly didn’t know much. Overall- it was very, very expensive and it was not experience. I made sure to tell all in my entire gun club not to go here and will continue to spread the word. The other range down the road was fantastic! It was so nice going there after our bad experience here.

Went there the past weekend for a one on one with an instructor and had a great time. The customer service was outstanding & my instructor was so insightful and helpful with the particular issues I was having. I definitely will be returning although I live down in NYC, this was the best range IΓÇÖve been to.

I completed the 16 hour firearm safety course this weekend. I was a little nervous as IΓÇÖve never shot a gun, and I wasnΓÇÖt sure what to expect. However, my goal and intention is to become more comfortable with firearms and aiming/shooting while in the process of obtaining my permit. The staff at the Indoor Gun range are awesome. Les presented the information concisely, often correlating material and NYS law to real life, relatable scenarios. I learned a ton this weekend. Coop and the other staff are very friendly and always made me feel welcome. I definitely recommend the course and hope to make more visits in the future to practice my skills. Thanks guys!

This place was AWESOME. took a random trip from Ronkonkoma on Long Island up to Troy just to go here. After about a 3.5 hour drive, we arrive, walk in and were greeted with friendly men at the counter. Signed some waiver forms and immediately got started. They showed us everything we needed from headgear, eye wear and how to properly hold and shoot a gun. affordable and we didn't need to have our own license or gun to bring with us. They offer the classes to get licensed, we are really interested in it, except we just live so far away. Long Island needs a place like this. Thank you for showing my husband and I a good time!! Till next time!

Went for Ladie's Night. I paid about $40 for lessons, axe throwing, and ammo. I was super nervous since it was my first time using a firearm. I did pretty good, though. One instructor had little patience for me and my anxiety. But the other one was so kind and helped me relax. I wish I remembered his name.

An amazing experience. I took my lady to the range for some Valentine's day shooting, and we ended up leaving as members. When we walked in, it kind of seemed like one of those old western movies where someone walks into the saloon and everyone got silent. Shortly after, I realized that it was because the guns that I brought with me were a big more powerful than the range could reasonably accommodate. Once I put them back in the car, we were good to go! The staff took the time to explain the process, and even helped make a suggestion as to which caliber we should fire (it was her 1st time shooting, so we went with a .22 vs 9mm). Our range coach was friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring that our experience was a great one. We fired around 80 rounds with our range time, and left feeling accomplished. It was fun to see that there were other couples there doing the same thing! And they also offer a ladies night, which my special lady is keen on participating in. We walked in as visitors, and left as members of the range. Well worth the visit, and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an indoor range with great staff and facilities. Just make sure that if you bring your own firearms, they're pistol caliber only. 5/5!

Great shop and range. Coop, Les and Carlos are friendly, helpful and informative. The monthly ladies night events are a great opportunity for first timers and novices to learn how to handle a firearm in a safe and constructive manner and allows the more experienced shooters a chance to have a little fun with the theme nights, food and free axe throwing. Safe, helpful, friendly and informative what more can you ask for?
