The Range At Ballantyne

Loads of fun, but the prices can be a little steep. Plenty of ranges, but try to reserve a lane well in advance so you don't have to wait. Lots of different firearms from pistols to rifles to rent but keep in mind the ammo is pricey. Have been several times and always enjoyed it, will definitely be back

I just started shooting firearms and I bought a couple of them upfront, which is a mistake by the way. I went into this range which is close to me and brought a friend who is much more experienced with shooting and range time. What we found was a completely professional, but not uptight, staff and a REALLY nice atmosphere. Shot a lot of rounds and asked a lot of questions. If you are a new or very seasoned shooter, give this place a try. To tell you how much I was impressed, I am buying a membership right after this is posted. Thanks for the great experience.

It was great, the employee are nice to their customers and they provide some answer if you need help. They will let you or another word allow you to bring your own fire alarm as long it is unloaded aka empty or no rounds on the magazines. They will provide you some round if you ran out and they do have targets for you shoot but you have to pay once your are done shooting. They also have safety glasses n earplugs or noise canceling headphones when you fire a your gun. IΓÇÖm so planing on coming back with a friend(if theyΓÇÖre not busy) during my day off n I still need to find a best day to attend the conceal carry permit class since they only do Saturday.

I was very impressed. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Great facilities and the online site is handy for range reservations. An enormous improvement over the range I had been going to which recently closed.

IΓÇÖve shot a many ranges in the area over the years and The Range at Ballantyne is one of the best. The staff is always friendly, prices competitive and the lanes are clean. What impresses me most is how IΓÇÖve observed them working with newer shooters. As opposed to being condescending, like IΓÇÖve seen at many other ranges, they take the time to work with the shooters and teach the proper safety protocols. We were all new shooters once and itΓÇÖs great seeing a range willing to assist as opposed to being condescending. ItΓÇÖs a well run shop and glad to have them in the area.

I have shot here more than a couple of times, generally it has been a good place. This most recent experience was a little disturbing given the fact that the people on the lane next to us were being extremely unsafe, almost as if they didn't watch the required video on gun safety or just ignored it. I literally had to tell one of them to make sure to keep his weapon down range. I watched another one in their group lode a pistol and then literally motion with it pointing behind him to the person who's was going to shoot it...disturbing to say the least. There was not a range safety officer sir in the booth that I could see, he may have been on the rifle range, we were on the pistol range.. this was late morning on a Friday, so no excuse not to have a range safety officer watching everyone.

This is the best gun range period the customer service is A+ and the indoor range is top notch. Workers are very knowledgeable of the industry. My wife and I are members and it was the best decision to get the membership. Check them out you will be completely satisfied.

Came to The Range for my first time tonight after work. Wanted to try my new pistol. They were able to squeeze me in with no reservation and everyone was nice. Range was in good shape and clean. Had a blast, and will be coming back soon! Thanks guys!

First time here in November 2024, after learning that my regular place is closed. Very nice place, all Indoor, i shoot a pistol but rifles are allowed. There are 3 rooms, 18 lanes or more, 25 yards. You can rent or bring your own

The people at the range are very friendly and helpful. The range is very clean and the equipment is modern and works very well. It is a little more expensive than the range where I was shooting but the other range was sold. If you are interested in learning more about shooting and safety with firearms The Range at Ballantyne is the place to go. DonΓÇÖt be afraid to go here and ask your questions. We who are firearms enthusiasts want more people to join us.

I go there very often. Very friendly staff members, they are very knowledgeable and treat their members/ customers with respect. For a new shooter, there is lot to learn (check out their monthly calendar for relevant classes).

I recently purchased a new EDC at the range location. All of the the staff were knowledgeable and very helpful with my questions, particularly Matt who even offered to let me try his personal firearm. As a NC resident, I picked up my new firearm at their Pineville location, where Jason too was very helpful and gave me a few pointers on improving my shooting skills. Excellent customer service throughout!

I recently bought a Groupon for The Range at Ballantyne for just $38 for myself and my boyfriend. It was an amazing experience and a perfect way to enjoy some much-needed kid-free time! We found it incredibly therapeutic to let off some steam, and it genuinely helped us find some peace. The staff were absolutely EXCELLENT. They were not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable about every firearm. They have an impressive selection, so you can try out different options before making a purchase.
