It's a gun range, not a 5 star hotel. If you want to be pampered, go to X-Cal. While a bit dirty, and not the best ventilation, it's close, convenient, and affordable range time. It would be nice to shoot rifle rounds and shotguns here, but rules are rules. If you want to shoot scatter gun or rifle, get a fishing license or something and go to the CH Phelps range. This place is a bit dated and could use some upgrades but I've never had any issues here. Paul is running a gun range, not a department store. Come in, shoot, respect the place, leave. No issues.

Walking into this indoor shooting range felt like stepping into a concrete bunker of disappointment. The moment I entered, I was hit with the faint smell of stale sweat and industrial cleaner, which didnΓÇÖt quite mask the underlying scent of missed potential. The staff? About as enthusiastic as a soggy target. They barely acknowledged my existence, which is fine unless youΓÇÖre looking for a little guidance or, you know, basic customer service. The range itself? It was loud, but not in the ΓÇ£thrilling excitement of hitting your targetΓÇ¥ way. More like "why-is-the-deafening-noise-crushing-my-spirits" kind of way. The targets were flimsy at best, practically begging for mercy after a few rounds. And donΓÇÖt even get me started on the ventilationΓÇöit felt like I was breathing in the essence of every gunshot fired in the last five years. So, if youΓÇÖre into getting your ears blasted and your patience tested, this place might be your dream range. Otherwise, you might want to take your business somewhere that doesnΓÇÖt feel like a punishment disguised as a pastime.

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews however I found the experience excellent. No bs, no problems, an all around pleasant experience. Will be returning.

DonΓÇÖt waste your time here. Hole in the wall, ran down place. Guys up front were jerks. Tried going here while visiting our Marine after a few harsh unnecessary comments to our group we walked right out. (directed towards our black family member)

I love going to this place, been there twice and even brought my two adult children. The only thing and even didn't bother me was the guy at the counter...he always seems so grumpy, lol.

I had a great experience at The Range! The facility was clean, well-maintained, and all the equipment worked perfectly. Great experience overall at this gun range! It was affordable, and when I visited, it was pretty empty, which was perfect for a relaxed and focused session. I liked the freedom of having the space to myself without the usual crowds. Still, a good spot for some practice, and IΓÇÖll likely be back!

After visiting the Range for almost a year, I've found it to be a great place to shoot. The management is very strict on their rules to ensure safety for all and very helpful when one has a technical problem. The range is multilayer so expect it to be a bit noisy but practically all the folks I've seen shooting in there are polite and considerate. Only con I've experienced is that it does get pretty cold in the winter. All else is pro

The old man couldΓÇÖve been a lot more inviting and friendlier. I asked to rent a 22lr pistol for my friend but was ignored. When we finished shooting. I asked to see the same 22lr pistol and was told it was a $8 rental fee plus ammo. Different strokes for different folks. First time in Stafford. Definitely will try somewhere else before coming back here.

The Range Stafford is the ideal place to get away for a range day. The place has plenty of lanes, gun rentals, ammo, and targets. Please practice responsibility and enjoy a safe range day. Staff even has a wide selection of guns for sale if needed.

Will never return Pretty grumpy old guy in the front. The place looks pretty ran down. They are also only limited to pistols at the range The rental selection is extremely limited. I would not recommend this range to friends and family in the area.

The range was as hot as an oven when we went. The lobby was cool but inside the range we were all sweating and hot. There was only one stapler to share for 14 lanes and there was a cheap carpet along the shooting booths so it was difficult to sweep used brass. The range lighting was good and the equipment was working well. Prices were reasonable.

I took my son shooting for the first time here. Very friendly neighborhood place, not crowded for a Sunday, got right on a lane. Prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back.

We were very skeptical about coming here due to the reviews about poor customer service but we are happy we gave them a shot! The gentlemen at the front desk are just very straightforward as with any other range we have been to. ItΓÇÖs a good range for basic shooting practice. They offer all the equipment to rent, targets etc. No complaints really, the only con was that you have to staple your targets to the board and when itΓÇÖs busy you may wait a while to change your target but we plan to maybe just bring our own stapler to avoid that.

Wonderful range. Nice older gentleman works the front desk. Remember no 5.7, rifle, or shotgun usage.
