Had an awesome experience at this range. They were very busy but worked super hard to keep everyone taken care of. Everything was very competitively priced as well. There are several ranges around the city but this will be the one I return to in the future.

Went on a valentine's date with my wife. The staff was very helpful and provided great customer service. Alex, Connor, and James were very informative and helped us with tips to better our shooting and selecting of rental guns. Will definetly be visiting again!

This place has some awesome staff and awesome owners. Highly recommend this place. The trainers here are also clear, easy going and helped me with learning how to handle a firearm.

Charged me for fees that were already paid. Would not give my money back. Not honest. Not the only place in town. Will not be going back here....ever. I ordered something from The Silencer Shop. When I picked up Item, they would not give it to me until I paid $60 transfer fee. I told them that with The Silencer Shop, there are no transfer fees. They argued and held my item for ransom, so I paid. After contacting The Silencer Shop, they confirmed I should not have been charged. I then called the Shootist and only received stuttering excuses when explaining that the people there had stolen from me. This is apparently how this business is run. Buyer beware. Go somewhere else

I had my first gun lesson today, and it was a surprisingly positive and educational experience. The instructor was incredibly patient and thorough, ensuring I felt comfortable at every step. Even though this was completely new to me, I was excited to see my shots grouped together, with a few even hitting the centerΓÇöa testament to the clear and effective guidance I received. While waiting for the lesson to begin, I took some time to walk around the classroom and check out the safety posters for concealed carry. They emphasized that firearm use is a last resort, which aligns with my personal beliefs and made me feel more at ease. IΓÇÖve been hesitant about guns in the past, but IΓÇÖve realized that with new information and proper training, I can approach this responsibly. One thing I really appreciated was the instructorΓÇÖs attention to visual cues. When I needed a break, they picked up on it and gave me time to regroup, which made the lesson feel supportive rather than overwhelming. That patience was exactly what I needed as I process this new skill. IΓÇÖm really grateful for the chance to learn in such a safe and professional environment. IΓÇÖm planning to take another lesson in a few weeks since IΓÇÖm still not comfortable with the mechanics yet and want to make sure I fully understand what IΓÇÖm doing. I even mentioned to the instructor that IΓÇÖll keep treating this as though I donΓÇÖt have it until I feel confident and competent. Thank you for creating such a welcoming space to learn. If youΓÇÖre looking for a supportive, judgment-free place to start, I canΓÇÖt recommend this local business enough!

As someone that has visited the majority of indoor ranges, and competes in firearm sports, I can say that I will never visit this range again. I visited today for the first time. There was no safety briefing prior to going on the range and no RSO supervision on the range. I had multiple customers on the range point their firearms at me while uncasing the guns behind the firing line. Guys walking around with uncased fire arms, fingers on the trigger, and no regard for safety. I wonΓÇÖt be visiting again. There is also quite a bit of evidence of negligent discharges in the range, where one of the benches at the firing line has multiple bullet holes as well as bullet holes in a table at the back of the range.

First time coming to this range and I'll have to say it's a great place to come if you want to get shot. The amount of unsafe firearms handling is mind boggling. People unbagging their firearms behind the line. Got swept multiple times. They desperately need ROs but I have a feeling they will end up in the news soon. Would not recommend.

We had a blast at The Shootist. We reserved two lanes for a party of four. Three of us were beginners, so Scott kindly and patiently taught us how to use the rifle and pistol we rented and gave us safety instructions. Thanks for the experience! :)

Always a pleasure visiting The Shootist. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The deals they have makes it more fun. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a friendly environment to practice shooting or even learning at.

I had an incredible experience at The Shootist today. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were. Whether youΓÇÖre a complete novice or an experienced shooter, this is the perfect place to go. A special shoutout to Scott, their gunsmith, who went above and beyond. I brought in a repair, and he not only fixed it quickly but did an amazing job. His professionalism and knowledge are second to none. He took the time to explain everything and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. The entire facility is well-maintained, and I felt secure and comfortable the entire time. The level of customer service here is top-notch, and ScottΓÇÖs expertise really stood out. I canΓÇÖt recommend The Shootist enoughΓÇöitΓÇÖs a fantastic range with a great team!

I wouldnΓÇÖt recommend the shootist if you have no idea where to start. One of the staff with big lips made me feel pressured and uncomfortable the way he was interacting with me. Rude, pushy, made me feel very unwelcome. I have a unique situation and he only made me feel like it was about the sale for him. Not being considerate to the circumstances just pushy then accusing me that my ID was not real. The other staff were very polite to help work around a solution.

My husband and 2 children (11,14) just finished an intro to gun safety and shooting class. Kenton and Tyco were very knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend whether you are timid or excited to learn about guns you attend this class. I still need to practice to feel confident. I feel better now just knowing what I learned this weekend than ever before!

its weird that only 5 star reviews are here, it is far from a 5 star place. after waiting over a half hour to be directed to a website that just straight up doesn't work, i get into a 20 yard basement range where somehow long guns are allowed. its so loud even with ears on you cant even get your eggs in a row. also, if theres an issue, its your issue. theres no range supervisor, and the stupid screen thing they have to take out and retrive your target is full of bugs and i couldn't get it to give me my target back. i was on 3 different lanes before i just gave up. but again, this is a you problem. no one will help you. this is not a beginner or even an intermediate friendly place to be. hope you like walking on shells cuz no one is cleaning up the shells and theres no way for you to pick them up unless you wanna crawl around on your hands and knees. no trash cans no shell buckets. if this review gets deleted i will be submitting to the bbb and im going to check every day to make sure it stays up. super weird theres only 5 star reviews
