Update for my previous negative review. I have been looking for a Staccato Xc for a couple of months. I stopped in earlier in February and was told an XC was in transit. I called back 2/22/25 and was told it was in but couldnΓÇÖt be held for me. I had a multiple hour drive to get there and didnΓÇÖt want to chance the drive to show up and it had been sold. The owner responded to my previous negative review and corrected all concerns I had. I drove down today 2/23/25 and picked it up. Thank you

The staff is friendly and helpful. The gun range is clean and they have many guns to choose from for rentals. They also have great prices on ammo and are well stocked on both guns and ammo.

WasnΓÇÖt aloud to enjoy my time and money spent at the range. IΓÇÖve shot here plenty of times and have never had issues, today when I went to shoot I was going about my normal routine that IΓÇÖve been taught by many ranges including the sportsman shop. I got stopped multiple times for rules that never applied before today and I was also not notified about them till I was in the range trying to shoot. The range officer was not helpful it seemed as if the time I payed for was getting wasted by getting talked to multiple times. I wouldn't have a problem if I was talked to before I went into the range and not on time that I payed for when I wasnΓÇÖt doing anything against my safety and others. Most likely wonΓÇÖt shoot here again and I hope other peopleΓÇÖs experience is not the same as mine and is more enjoyable.

The Sportsman Shop IS th I e best you will find and not only with the great inventory of Firearms, but with their indoor firing range. In door ranges are scarce and they provide a comfortable environment for shooting any type caliber just about you may have. I have been visiting their store since they were located in New Holland and love the new location with easy viewing of their inventory. Thank YOU Joe, Anthony and Jessica!

Went to pick up a firearm today, the manager Anthony was quick to respond by email, staff at the customer service desk when I came in were super nice and helpful. Will be sure to be back again.

Salesman was very rude about not having any kimbers in stock. He got a attitude trying to show me something else and I said I am there only for a kimber. So we drove all the way up to cabelas and where treated way better than this place

I donΓÇÖt recommend burying or selling your rifles here. The management or team do not know their firearms. They offered me a 1/4 price for what my rifle is worth. They use the first site they see on the Internet and canΓÇÖt decipher what firearm they are looking at.

What a fantastic experience. We have been to many of the local firearms dealers/ranges and this one by far exceeded our expectations. Prices are great and the staff is absolutely amazing. We purchased the family membership for the range which will pay for itself in just 4 visits. The staff there were more than happy to assist with any questions. While other local ranges keep raising their rates The Sportsman's Shop offers a fair price and great array of membership opportunities. If you are int eh market to join a range, i highly recommend The Sportsman's Shop! Keep up the great work!

This place is incredible. Over the past couple weeks, we took the pistol safety course with Kevin, went to range and talked with John for a while, and ended up purchasing my first pistol. Every single individual from the range safety officers, the trainers, the individuals behind the customer service desk, to the sales people on the floor are amazing. First purchase can be extreemly overwhelming and they made it super easy and stress free. Will be back for many range sessions.

I echo another earlier review I just read. We just signed up for a membership last weekend. Came back 11.30 for our first shoot. My family had a great first range visit. ItΓÇÖs a busy range with a safety officer watching and assisting. Counter staff at range also helpful. This was our first visit to shoot. We will be back often!

I mean F this place! I wanted to get my buddy something for his birthday and called in a few times. Nobody answered so I decided to just come in. Upon arriving I was surprised to see 3 employees behind the front register just talking, none of them had customers. 2 other employees in the back, again just talking. I asked one a question about an accessory and was told just go on the manufacturer’s site to see if it fits…then he walked away from me! Wow, clearly he was an expert. It did fit and was about $20 less than the Sportmanshop price of $49.99. I showed it to the guy at the counter and I kid you not his reply was “so”. I asked if they matched pricing and he very curtly said “no” This place is the worst.

Nobody that works here is a snooty know it all that makes anything gun related unbearable. Range is usually very empty weekday mornings. RSOs are helpful. Large selection.

For my first experience shooting I felt very comfortable, safe, and in good hands. Staff was helpful and not intrusive in the experience while still being there to assist if needed. I will most likely be back for a beginner class at some point. Thanks!
