Great range but I came in the dead of winter so that wasn't very fun but overall a nice range. My only complaint is the fee, I understand that finding places that are open to the public is hard but I think that the fee should be lowered to $10 for members and $15 for non members

Went there today for the first time. Great range, not too crowded and great for sighting in at long ranges.

Our first trip here. Took the wife for our wedding anniversary. Some co workers joined us. We had a great time. We were out at 700 yards with no problem. Very interesting to see the different rifles. One guy hit the 1740 while we were there. We will definitely be back this year. I'm coming for the 1740. A year later i have been back twice. Hit the mile multiple times last weekend. It was amazing. Only downside is people that don't clean up after themselves. Pick up your brass. And idiots shooting at the animals.

This is an outdoor long distance shooting range. It pretty clean. There is nothing on site so you will need to bring anything you need. There is no store as far as I can tell. To that point there were no employees on site? There was a paybox and sign-in sheet for entry. The shooting area was pretty clean when we went. It looks like the garbage is removed often. The restroom consists of 3 portable toilets set about 50 feet from where you shoot. They seemed to be well taken care of. There was plenty of cover space to shoot from, and keep your equipment while there. There didn't seem to be anything to clean up brass so you're going to have to use your own two hands. Over all it's not bad. Especially without any workers on site. I think most people who go to this kind of range bring and reload their own stuff so maybe a store is not needed? On Facebook there is a picture of a lobby and sales counter, but it wasn't here. To this point don't forget hearing protection, as far as I could tell there is nothing nearby. Maybe you have to be in the know? Anyhow we had a good time.

They returned my inquiry call 6 days later. Had the impression from the website and the lady who called back, that there would be a rangemaster in attendance. Was there from 11:30 to 3:30, no staff showed and one paid by putting cash in a lockbox and reading the range instructions on the wall. The price at $30/day is fair/cheap, the tables and hut are good. The steel targets were as advertised, although there was only ONE plate at 200, 300, 400, 500. A minimum of two seems intuitive IMO, strangers were left to communicate 'amongst themsleves'. A challenging course, by golf standards, the wind concentrates through mini-valleys at 600, 1000 and the mile. But, with your partner-spotter, you could work thru that fun. I wish I had brought one. With experience, I would return better prepared, and wish the owners had helped with that before I traveled 450 miles.
