I recently had the opportunity to visit Timberline Firearms & Training in Flagstaff, AZ, and was incredibly impressed by the facility. The front of the store is clean and well-organized, showcasing a great selection of firearms and practical firearm accessories and equipment. The indoor shooting range in the back is equally impressiveΓÇömodern, well-maintained, and safe. What stood out most to me was the exceptional level of customer service. The owner took the time to give us a comprehensive safety seminar, making sure everyone felt confident and informed before using any equipment. The range also offers a great selection of firearms for rent, all in excellent condition and ready to go. Overall, Timberline Firearms & Training offers an outstanding experience for both the beginner and the seasoned. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone; from those looking to begin their training with firearms or even those who merely wish to stay up to date on their practice. It is a top-notch range and, I can confidently say, it is the best in Flagstaff.

Visited Timberline Range with my two sons. We were tourists from overseas. The staff are obviously well-versed and experience catering to firearms novices like us. Great initial instruction, brilliant on-range tuition and good range of different pistols and rifles to try. The staff and owner, Rob, were all fantastic. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you team. A great experience.

I'm from Phoenix, I visit my in laws once to twice a month in Flagstaff. They live very close to this range and for years I wanted to visit but never did. I took my father in-law and step son finally, and I was very impressed. I enjoyed the staff, and who I presume to be the owner was very involved in his business. Iv been shooting for years and frequented the ranges down in the valley and had negative experiences at all of them. I honestly think even though I'm from the valley I will likely save my range days for when I visit Flagstaff and give this range my business rather than the ones I live by. If you enjoy shooting definitely worth bringing a gun or two and hitting the range while in Flag. The 3 safety range staff were my favorite part, was able to have nice conversations with all of them and one let me borrow some oil when I embarrassingly forgot mine and didn't oil one of my guns well enough. Not arrogant at all and friendly.

We were 3 tourists (my girlfriend, her brother and me) shooting different rental guns as a surprise for my brother-in-law. Everything was explained patiently, the whole staff was helpful and corteous and we felt super safe the whole time. We are so glad we stopped here at a local place with locals going in and out doing their shooting while we had all the time we wanted. The range itself was super clean, self explanatory and modern. Rest of the family had the possibility to either come in with us or to relax in comfy armchairs and watch us through the safety cameras. Awesome experience! What a tremendous experience! Took our kids there and it was their first experience with firearms. Our instructor was so patient and good with the kids. The entire staff was incredible and they were fun, respectful and so professional and knowledgeable. This was the best firearms experience I have ever had. Highly recommend and I wish I had a place like this by my house. I would be a member and in there at least weekly. Thanks for educating my kids and helping to make me a better shooter!

The best indoor range I've ever used! I brought nine people, five of which had never shot before. The staff were friendly and accommodating and helped us to all have a great time and remain safe! I highly recommend tYmberline Firearms and Training for their indoor range, purchasing new second amendment items, or getting trained up on what you already have!

Great indoor range with very cool staff, great and helpful RSOs, and good prices. They have a good calendar with some great opportunities for classes and other events, too.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, when it comes to both the retail and shooting range sections of their facilities. They have a large selection of firearm merchandise and a neatly kept shooting range with a respectable selection of rentals! Would recommend if you're in the area!

We took our boys for their first shooting experience. The staff was amazing, and the firearms that we rented were in great shape. I would highly recommend them if you want a safe and fun shooting experience.

My brother in law and I had a great time we got to learn about the company learned about the guns, they sat with us and spoke to us about all the guns any questions we had they answered we got to meet the owner of the company and she was really sweet and very friendly about whatΓÇÖs going on there and how long they been there and they got started the inspiration of it we shot some really cool guns and automatic. If youΓÇÖre nearby go check them out you will have a blast.

Fantastische ervaring. We kwamen allemaal voor het eerst in aanraking met de schietsport. Het personeel gaf duidelijke instructies, was enorm vriendelijk en betrokken. We mochten alle wapens naar keuze gebruiken, fantastisch!

Timberline Firearms and Training has excellent customer service. Their employees are helpful and competent when it comes to all things firearms. Most of the employees are also firearms instructors. You might be able to get a cheaper price at the big box stores but I prefer to support local and get quality customer service. I recently ordered a gun without specifying a special feature I wanted, once I realized this it was no problem for them to re-order, even though it was my fault, with no extra charge. Timberline firearms feels more like family than a business and thatΓÇÖs why I choose them.

Visited Timberline as part of our trip through the US, as we wanted to try shooting firearms for the first time. We had an amazing experience, with the extremely knowledgeable and kind staff helping us to quickly get up to speed and try out a wide selection of guns and rifles in a fun and safe way. To top it all off, they are cheaper than the other ranges in the area. Big thanks to the entire team at Timberline for an excellent experience!

This is the BEST range I've visited in Arizona. I've been to many in the valley and in Prescott and Timberline far exceeds my expectations. I've taken quite a few classes from them and of course plenty or range time. Customer Service is always TOP NOTCH! Their selection and quality of firearms to purchase or rent is also great quality. I've actually had family members and friends visit me here in Flag just so they can either take a class or shoot (range time). That says alot when you have folks willing to travel north of valley just to come to TL. Thanks all for the great job you do and providing a quality experience!

By far one of the best ranges I've been to. The staff is very kind, Brett and Rob (the owner) in particular are great to be around. I have come here to rent, shoot my own, both alone and with friends. Each time the experience has been good. They have many firearms for rent, including 2 automatic firearms as well. I have also come here to get a sight fitted. At first the sight did not seem to go in well, however after some talking it has turned out great and is very accurate. I will 100% be a returning and continuing customer, and will continue to bring new people here to get familiar with firearms. I highly recommend this place. I usually do not like indoor ranges, however with proper ear protection you will have a good time. The hours here are also very convenient, and the fact that this place has regulars should tell you it's a good and fun place to be. I am hoping to get my conceal carry permit here as well, and will update when that happens. The CCW class was fantastic as well. The owner, Rob, taught the class and gave a ton of great information. I am extremely glad I came here, and will continue to do so.

By far one of the best shooting ranges I've ever been to. Not only are each of the staff members friendly, but they're attentive and helpful with everything from shooting instructions, marksmanship mechanics, renting a lane, purchasing a firearm, and even maintenance! From the moment you arrive you can tell that Timberline's first priority is safety. Whether you're a first time shooter or a gun-enthusiast, this facility and staff will ensure you have an incredible time. This has been my go-to place in Flagstaff not only for purchasing gear, ammo, firearms, and target practice, but even maintenance questions and concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Timberline Firearms to friends and family alike!

Great experience, especially being a novice. I'm sure I asked dozens of questions. The system was being difficult with finishing the paperwork, so it gave us time to chat. Pleasant and knowledgeable. Big thumbs up.... just not with your gun in hand. 😁

Wow, what a way to spend a few hours. We are on vacation from Scotland, the staff welcomed us in, gave us the safety brief and allowed us to pick our handguns.. one at a time. James was our Range Safety Officer, he gave us plenty of tips on how to shoot properly and safely... Really freindly staff all round. I highly recomend a trip out to Timberline.

We had an awesome experience here at Timberline! We are international tourists with little experience in handling and shooting a gun. The staff was super friendly and helpful from the get-go, giving us an introduction into gun safety and even some more help here and there on how we can improve our accuracy. We booked the full-auto professional package, which was a great experience throughout - also reasonably priced for two people. I have been to a few gun ranges and rental places, but this one really stands out for me when it comes to focus on safety and customer service!!

I had the most wonderful experience at the Introduction to Handguns training. I learned so much and felt very comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for to feel more confident in handling and firing. Jim and Elise went above and beyond to make sure I had all my questions answered and got a good foundation for progressing. Thank you!

Took a friend to Timberline. It was our first time at this range and they made it a good experience. Probably one of my most favorite ranges comparing it to ranges in Phoenix. They were very helpful and we will definitely be returning and recommending people.
