Terrible customer service and a blatant drop-shipping scam. I placed an order on their website, but after two weeks, I still hadnΓÇÖt received a shipping confirmation. When I reached out for an update, they simply told me theyΓÇÖd email me when it shipped. Fast forward another two weeksΓÇöstill nothing. A full month passed with zero communication. When I followed up again, instead of a response, I received a refund email just five minutes laterΓÇöno explanation, no apology, nothing. The small savings werenΓÇÖt worth the hassle. Avoid this site at all costsΓÇöyouΓÇÖll never receive your order. I wish I had read the reviews first!

Would not recommend this seller. Their prices may be good, but their timing, customer service and overall attitude towards their customers arenΓÇÖt worth saving a few bucks. Claim no fault in any situation and always push blame to the customer. Very rude in email correspondence, if they reply at all. Do your due diligence before wasting a lot of extra time. **In addition. He has so many upset customers that he doesnΓÇÖt even know who is leaving bad reviews. We canΓÇÖt all be as big Matt! Take your business elsewhere.

My wife purchased a Ruger Ranch rifle from this pathetic excuse of a business. It was advertised as 'New In Box'. Yet when she received it, there was marring on the pick rail on top of the rifle. The marring spots were spaced at an interval that was indicative of having scope rings previously mounted on it. After reading previous reviews and replies from the owner of this business he is not in favor of owning anything. He would much rather blame the manufacturer or the purchaser. Yet I highly doubt that Ruger mounted scope rings on this rifle at the factory. I'm going to guess that it was previously fired. Which makes this rifle used. Which the owner will likely deny, again due to his previous replies to reviews. But the reality is, the owner of this business is shady and sells used items as new items. Even if this rifle was used for display with a scope on it, he should have sold it as 'New In Box' 'Blemished'. But shady people will keep being shady and be in denial about it the whole time.

Purchased a firearm on Gunbroker. After 3 weeks of it not shipping I asked for an update and just got a reply saying they were refunding my money. They then left negative feedback. So if you want rude customer service and no communication, shop here.

Ordered a Range finder as they had the best price I could find. Ended up shipping it to a completely wrong address. After reaching out multiple times (Desk staff seemed friendly) and not receiving a response for several days I informed the woman that answered several of my calls I would be Disputing the charge with my CC. Several minutes later i received an email from Matt Wilson saying he was looking into it. After a week of this whole issue dragging on, and still no resolution, i recieved an email from Matt saying i was an ***hole for disputing it. He said he banned me, which is fine. I would never order from here again.

I had my family go pick up a pallet of feed for me, it was already ordered and set aside at 14$ a bag for 40 bags. They charged my family 17$ a bag. 760 vs 560 so not a small amount. When I got the charge I called and was told they couldnΓÇÖt do anything on their end due to the check was already in the bank and I was told to put a stop payment on the check. I did and called back to let them know. Called again Friday and spoke to a lady and let her know as soon as that check clears my account that I would either pay over the phone or personally deliver a check she wa polite and said that was great and they will fix my invoice. Well today at 10am i received a call from a man screaming at me to either pay or send his product back. The check just cleared this morning due to holidays and they arenΓÇÖt open Mondays so I was waiting as I had no other choice.I told him I would pay over the phone, he tried to charge me 760 again and I told him no they fixed my invoice and he proceeded to scream at me and finally charged me the price I was first quoted at 560 and told me to never return. IΓÇÖve been doing business with tin start for over 8 years and I have never been spoken to like that before over an error on their end not mine. So disappointing and unprofessional.

Discrepancies between online stock and GunBroker stock... advertising a specific handgun on GB as 3 on hand, no shipping restrictions. Check their website (normally have no reason to do this when buying on GB), shows as out-of-stock and no shipping to CA, MA, or MD. This particular handgun isn't restricted in MD. But hey, I respect their decisions to limit their commerce even when it's based on incorrect information, and I respect their inability to get their $hit straight. After seeing their online presence, feedback, and responses these guys are a HARD PASS.

I live in Mt Dora, Florida and the rifle arrived in less than a week with updates throughout the process. They will not ship your order. They will not respond to your message when you inquire why they did not ship your item. Enough dealing with companies like that. They take your money and call it a day.

Purchased a rifle from this place and what I received was NOT what was pictured in their add. The stock was completely different. The pic showed a nice light grained wood. What I received was a plain brown, no grain wood stock. Seller refuses to resolve the issue. A reputabIe Seller would resolve the issue and your reply below says it all. I will never buy from them again.

I got a little nervous when I saw the reviews, but I had no problems. I ordered a new handgun off the website ($304 plus $8 shipping vs $360 at Buds). It shipped out in 7 calendar days. I'm perfectly happy to wait a few days to save $45 on a $360 gun. It was the lowest price I saw anywhere on the internet. I would definitely use them again.

I will never try to buy something here again. I purchased a product online and had not received a shipping update after a week. I called and they would only give an update via email. The owner emailed me the next day saying they had my order and FFL info - nothing else needed. Another week goes by and nothing. I call again asking for an update - says they only do that via email and the owner would email me. Nothing. Finally this week I call and the guy on the phone says he will check on my order. Goes back and looks. Says they are waiting on it from the distributor and it is not in shop, even though it was "in stock" when I purchased it. Says it will be in soon. I LOOKED AT MY CC TODAY, THEY REFUNDED ME 3 DAYS AGO. Rinky dink outfit with shady practices. Will not shop here ever again. Do your research before you shop.

As is clear from the large number of negative reviews and the flippant and unhelpful responses, as well as its poor Better Business Bureau profile, this company is neither reliable nor customer friendly. My brother and I bought our brother, a police officer, a Ruger Max 9 with a Ruger Ready Dot for off-duty use. The pistol arrived at the FFL with no red dot in the box (the box was clearly marked to indicate this model pistol included the red dot). Despite repeated calls and emails to Tin Star for over a month now, this company has failed to provide the missing red dot or to even attempt to make things right. I cannot recommend doing business with Tin Star.

Ordered a thread adapter on 12/25, item was listed as in-stock. never received shipping notification and multiple attempts to get an update or status were never returned. No choice but to initiate a credit card chargeback.
